I have mixed feelings about this. Thankful that the bridge is being repaired, angry that it has taken so long and thinking of the traffic this would cause in Lagos. A normal day traffic on that route is terrible now, repairs are happening? Omo na die!!! Well, thinking of relocating. Any work !!!!#RememberingYabatechDays# |

@Op, Engine pictures please..... |
It is really a shame in Nigeria that all the military formation(s) have taken corruption as a way of life. Look at it, is it the police or the Customs or the even the Army have joined. There is no respect for the uniform they put on, and the guns they carry seems to put them in the class of untouchables. We really need a re-orientation and serious punishments for offenders, The truth is that we pay lip-service to fighting corruption and it started a long time ago. I remember vividly when i was in the Secondary School (1985-91) whenever a law was passed, we would relax for 2 weeks on whatever evils we were doing that brought about the law and get back at it afterwards and to your greatest surprise, there were no punishments to these evils. We need a change and the change starts from every individual i.e. me and you. GAZZUZZ: 10 out of 10 customs officers are corrupt, they don't really care, as long as what you are complaining about does not affect their flow of cash they don't mind, their names are already soiled in egunje.@Gazzuzz you are very correct with what you said. I believe we also have to change our priorities. Most people have their priority on Money, Money, Money but a good name is far better than gold and silver. |
This is a good write up @OP. I am printing it out for pasting. ![]() |
Chisossss!!!! Using little damsels as weapons of mass destruction ?These people are seriously perversed. Give the Northern Girl child education. |

laudate: Thank you, thank you for recalling these great old men of music. Do you still remember Bobby Benson's song "Taxi Driver?"Yes oo!!! If you marry taxi-driver, I don't care. Thank you Laudate, Yo are great. I would also like to remind you of Onilegogoro. may God bless these greats of Highlife Music. |
I am really surprised to see this thread. It shows that many people are getting more matured at heart. Highlife music is a real great genre. I have seen many greats but we have forgotten THE GREATS of highlife. Do you remember names like E.C Arinze, Tunde Osofisan (still lives in Festac,if my memories are still sharp), The late Zeal Onya (The trumpeter of great repute), Y.S Akinbo (Fela's Saxophonist of Ojuelegba) - he plays some beautiful highlife, Ambrose Campbell (of the Oh Bladi, Oh Blada song, still alive in USA), E.T Mensah (the King of Ghana Highlife), Bobby Benson (Ikorodu man with a large presence in Fadeyi Area of lagos). The Pre- and Early Independence years were the Highlife era but the tides have changed to Hip-hop (where everyone hips and hops to music). A horns man so i know why i have spoken about these greats. |
Nice effort from Maurice. Hope this would be carried forward.. At least, someone was working, not COMPLAINING |
Good day Tadeus, Please how much does it cost to clear a Toyota Camry 2005 at Cotonou and delivery in Lagos, Nigeria? The car is coming from America. I need original Nigerian Customs Paper. Thank you. |
A lot of Christians have been deluded in this preaching of liberty. The old testament says "thou shall not commit adultery" and Jesus, whom they say died for them to give them liberty says "the mere thought of adultery" makes you guilty. We are truly at the end times. My sister, please beware of such churches. There are so much in these days. |
@adeyinkaolajide, I have noticed that your properties have not been taken and the price has not reduced. Why not try reducing the prices and see if they would go. #my10kadvice# or is it that you are not updating your posts? |
