This ain’t fair. I just prayed for him. You can’t heal what you never reveal and beside they say truth will set one free. I understand it’s a process, because a leopard is not expected to switch spots like that. Prayers do wonders, we just have to keep praying for him. At least it was once at denial stage, till it becomes obvious a brother is not being honest with himself and folks around him.

Baz you don try, better rest. To be honest I am disappointed in Obinoral and Bishop dragging Felicity needlessly. What’s the point? Someone is not mentally stable, then he’s not mentally stable. They are no two ways about it. Rather you remember him in your prayers and let the story be that. Stop bullying the weak, just doesn’t seem right. Peace

Pope, e be like say Bovas don dey scam us o.
Try buying from NNPC if u will notice any difference. I stopped buying there since January cos I no dey go Magodo again, because of the road construction. Only Bovas and Mobil Agidingbi. But on Monday and yesterday I say make I just try am, what they sold for me for same amount I usually buy in Bovas was noticeably more on my guage and it's like the fuel didn't burn fast fast. Maybe it's just this consignment they have Sha. I will try them again today.

I didn’t read your post finish, before clicking on reply. The first line was what I read. I’ll buy fuel finish at Bovas and it will be like film tricks. Are these guys cheating me? Nope! They are all my padi’s, accept for that dark girl that use to act like wit*h, everytime she will bone face. These guys we are so close to the point of them telling me when they will have fuel and when not to bother to drive down. So I was fighting it, until I noticed their meter is so fast lately.

If 12k will give me half tank before the recent increment, add 1500 and that should settles that. For where? I barely see what I bought, but their fuel don’t burn easily. Switch to old oando on Sunday and gbam, 8k fuel from a bit past half is getting close to full tank. Yesterday, I bought 14k, I got tired of standing, practically begging for the meter to complete on time. I gently such from my favorite. The only problem is that traffic atimes. I still don’t want to believe Bovas tampered with their meter. The woman kept her standard this far.

But if you noticed before the recent increment, they weren’t selling at same price with the 2 NNPC’s, which tells market force and location is really dealing with them. Ask the the old NNPC? Awon clown, no difference between them and ANL.

NB : becareful of those adult babies at NNPC, their eyes is steady on red. If you loose guard! Sorry!!

Bro, your attitude towards this hustle needs to change, unless of course your not interested in doing it then I'd advice that you exit immediately FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.
I'm saying this from a mental health perspective and from how the world works. You get what you put out. If you hate this gig so much, there's absolutely no way you'll be happy, it'll fvck up your whole psych, attitude, relationships etc. You need to really look out for this.
Secondly, the concept of bad karma. If you put out bad energy that's what you'll get in return. For someone in the service industry it's very important and it'll impact on your growth in that industry as well as your overall well being.
Nobody said it's going to be eldorado, but it's definitely not as bleak. You need to open your mind. Your car, I dare say, is part of your issues. I drive a 5 cylinder 2.4ltr engine, there's absolutely no way I should be getting better fuel economy than you. Good thing mine displays my average per 100km so there's no room for ambiguity. You need to look into the causes of the car's inefficiency. It may also be your driving style.
Bottom line, I think you need to self audit. Even the "lazy" and part time drivers are doing better than you are. It's cause for introspection.

Well said boss. His negative mindset and at the same time trying to be everything won’t do much. One thing I learnt again is, it is hard to motive who is not willing. At no point will our energy match, we all can’t sleep or wake at the same time. So apparently our output can never be the same.

sir ideally how many litre goes for an hour using 1.8 litre 4 cylinder as an example, thanks.

I honestly don’t do those maths, but like ReadaDream once said, he makes sure 10k returns 25k. 12k surely do give me 30k or more, but at least.

It's ignorance. A guy called 99.3 today and said that 5k fuel from MRS in Victoria Island only took him to ajah. A journey of less than 25k. He was complaining that the trip was 4k, that the fares should be raised.

To him it's normal. He feels cheated. But he's ignorant because he doesn't know what's obtainable for his fuel consumption, doesn't want to know, doesn't care. He'll rather complain. Just like they do here.

5k fuel will take me to ajah and back 3times if road is free.

I dig

Amount of fuel used is subjective. It's your responsibility. You can decide to drive a v6 or a v8 or a Corolla/Camry with a dead fuel system. It's your business. You cannot dismiss the profits of a Kia Rio 1.4L manual transmission driver who says he uses 8k to gross 45k simply because your own car cannot achieve same mpg after grossing same 45k. Gross income is a constant. Fuel consumption isn't. If I tell you I use 12k fuel on average daily, you may doubt it out of ignorance.

The frequent "fuel used" conundrum always thrown up on this thread is laughable, especially when it's coming from a place of ignorance of the driver not knowing how much fuel his car is supposed to consume on specific KMs driven, who now tries to juxtapose his fuel consumption with a driver who knows exactly what his fuel consumption should be, and what exactly to do if his fuel consumption falls below manufacturer's standard average miles/km per gallon/L.

It's your job to know.

I think this is where omopena bewilderment orchestrated from. I’ll beckon on him to first know his capacity and what is obtainable for him daily. If he can gravitate towards grossing 35 to 40k daily? Then the fuel consumption of his apparatus must have been the culprit. Oh my god!

There has never been a time that people have not quarrelled on this thread. Let's stop this rhetoric. If you have questions bothering you, feel free to ask and you will get adequate response. If it is even interesting, you will see veterans coming from nowhere to respond to it.

To your question, indrive is very tricky. There are juicy and rubbish requests but the challenge is "fastest finger first". By the time you figure out the juicy request and you pick it, you get a response: request has already been taken. You can introduce him to cheerfulgiver's telegram group for some tips.

It’s one thing to ask question and it is another thing to be entitled about it. Giving that we don’t know what tomorrow will bring with regards to political stability. The question should be

Can a driver make 30k daily using indrive?
If he works for 5 days can he make 150k?
If indrive remove 15k, they are both left with 135k. How much does fuel takes here and how much does he have to balance him. They should first start with what the driver makes weekly.

If the tool is ok, people are doing 200k weekly, I don’t think one can spend 100k on gas.

Big salary is relative, what is big to you might be very small to me & vice versa
..I see people picking passenger at Eko hotel with Benz and they don't look like driver....
I agree with u that every endeavour get pros and cons, never rule that out and I think this your "am not answering to anybody is just your own mind playing with you" .In ehailing, YOU answer to the APP guys, they decide whether you can drive or not!!They can stop you anytime and make a damn request! They also query you, maybe u never think am.
Waking up 5am for some of us is a response to Lagos traffic, my house to island is approximately 25 mins or less but na 2/3 hours if traffic grab you and it is standard but recently it seems traffic has really gone down, we can adjust again..
And you saying ehailing is giving u what you WANT (not even what u need) in life is shocking... I'll try my best not to engage you again sir, ah shock catch me... Ehailing giving u what you want in Life! Quite obvious. Could be as a result of where you're coming from.
Lastly, on the Ajo and all the enjoyment you've ascribe to being a driver, I leave the joke to you.
@ BAZOO pls return ASAP, drivers are balling now o, better than washing dishes in congo.

You know what I find interesting in all these? The picture being painted here portrays one path is certain(career) and the other has been measured (drivers). In all honesty, if I find myself in a multinational company or top level at government parastatals. I’ll so jump at it. If you give me a ticket to enabling environment such as the State or CA, I’ll catch the next flight. But a sole proprietor where one person decision directly scatter my existence? Nah! It may work for some and it may not work for some, I just don’t want to put myself in that box where the exit of one man may shut all my plans.

Now if you have an eyes on somethings or plan in view for the next 5 years? I want to believe we all do have relatives plan as well. Heaven helps us all not to remain stagnant.

NB : I remember your post is for Ome. But need we know regularly drivers have not also gotten to their end point. Needless the undue pressures of when.

Well said.

Except you're the president of a country like Nigeria, everybody answers to somebody. Nobody is his own boss in the real sense of it.

I just feel we are being minimal with truth on this subject. Freedom comes in different form of prisons. I am at home now and no one will shoot me off for not coming online. I may choose to be like this for the next one month. Rather it is the app companies partially begging by way of enticement. But you can’t try such with the regular. Some can’t even plan themselves. You may receive calls at odd hours and that’s it. Ask the servers guy’s how restless they can be when pressure mounts.

NB : I am not saying one is better than the other, but each should be free to make their choice and the type of life they long to see under the sun. Money or material things can’t be equate to peace of mind in the sense of view.
