I was robbed there when it wasn't dark. A guy just walked up to my mirror and was ready to yank it off.
I quickly asked him to calm down and handed N200 to him, with him asking what he would do with N200. I had to beg him.
That's wot they do dia, a guy once tried to do same to me, I quickly change lane. They do dia thing, even wit the present of the police most times.

though it is advised to switch off ur ac when passing water, how long will u wait for it to dry B4 putting it on? That is the wahala also. Most switch it on immediately, water trapped inside will still damage the system. Also ur condenser can have some debris trapped in it and it blocks the system.
What can one do in such situation?
Make we begin list roads with Noah's flood here, so that others will learn. At least, it Should be updated weekly.
Make person no use cos of 1.9x, carry thousands of expenses o.
That's exactly what happened to me, drove to the traffic light at Osapa before putting the A/C on, yet compressor pack up.

I can imagine. But it still beats my imagination seeing some drivers run their AC inside water. I believe it is either ignorance or trying to please their riders at the expense of their car. Me, any small water like this, my AC don turn off.
Some riders will ask u to off it self.

Indriver is your only hope for now.

As for Uber don't border they'll reactivate you when they want... At least expect 10months from them

Bolt unlike Uber are more considerate and humanly but expect like 6months or less if you follow up with them weekly.

You Only need retraining to get back on Bolt but on Uber you dont... Just update your app and car and you're back online to accept request.

I believe that by the time you've been released from these prisons you would've understood the value and important of customers and how to how to treat them politely even when they offend you, until then enjoy the beauty driving with Indriver.

Contact pope191, shollywendy(oga boss), davit and who again oh... I would have said churscmoor but the guy level now enh no be here oooh, Int'L things... Try met them one-on-one... You may not want to get back on Uber again but bolt fit Do You longer throatgringrin

You're talking of N150k how much is 150k compare to the value of a 2016 Toyota Corolla that many have forfeitured to this Stu.pid dru.g Lord and his jagagbanic slave master boss Tin.nu.bu...

Gov. Raji Fashola who was the best serving governor in Nigeria way back, reason to why many jobs are now been created in Lagos and in nigeria at large due to his technical and critical thinking for mapping the entire streets of Lagos making Google map functional thereby attracting Uber and Bolt into Nigeria, never impose such wicked and Stu.pid laws, yes he gave LASMA power but he pinned them down with human right laws so they didn't misbehave like these dogs are currently doing now.
I think impounding is due to one way, a driver should not take one way as we both know is dangerous to both parties. I just felt like they should have a penalty that is reasonable and applies to everyone. Once anyone beats traffic light, he or she got pick and fine like 5k, I don't think any body, not even the commercial drivers will like to beat traffic light.

Almost every hustle in this country is not born out of passion for the job and the penalty for offender's in Lagos state is a joke, takING 150k for traffic offence in a country where minimum wage is nothing to write home about is pure wickedness.

My brother the cases and updates especially in Lagos is something else,
My concern is that nobody seems to be bother again rider will just enter car not covering nose, if I try to tell them, they will start telling stories of how it’s not in Nigeria it scam bla bla at some point I was contemplating stopping to drive self. But look around you 98% of Nigerians are not complaints, nobody seems to wear mask again.

Thank you for bringing it here, heard there is a new variant called Gamma. All this variants Anee not included in the vaccines.

God will continue to keep us
I's Nigeria a country? Even when you go to officers and eateries, all they care about is for u to buy face mask, I'll b pointing at ppl that are all in without face mask, they careless. Just buy and put it in your hand, the money is what they are after everywhere.

For sake of next time, run anything over obstructing your movement on the highway if you're above 80/100kmh on close range. Reason is that if you try to dodge anything while in such speed you'll end up having serious accident that may cost your life and the life of other road users so its better to knock one down than get many others killed.

Also, if on highway and you see diesel spill directly in front of you, just hold on firmly to your steering wheel and don't make any attempt to step on your break pedal and don't turn your steering at all even 5° turning don't dare it else your car will saumasaut without any collision at all.

I'd an encounter along the long bridge after Berger ine time travelling to Benin one morning... An overloaded truck with diesel was just spilling all over the road, the Camry in my front suddenly applied break and in a twinkling of an eye he saumetsauted 3times... Me I just speed pass like nothing happened but I felt a little drag/slippery movement of my car behind on my steering but thank God I saw the truck ahead and i knew what to expect.

Above all, always hold yoir steering wheel with both hands while on highways. Very important.
U just got promoted to drive Buhari

Pope, how are you. Please accept my condolences about her demise. I'm so sorry

Back to the matter

Do you remember the parable Jesus gave about the servants and talents? One was given 1 talent, another 2, and another 5.

The one with 5 traded and got 10. Definitely he did more work than the others.

My point is, this driving hustle is a means to an end. Everybody should make use of it now and get out when they have achieved their goal.

Chucsmoore used to drive here. Today he is not driving anymore.

We would definitely trade something for another. While I advise we take care of ourselves, we should also make the most of our opportunity and better our lives.

People go to work 6 days a week, and earn 80k a month. Why can't a driver drive 6 days a week and earn 150k a month?

It's not easy anywhere. I quit driving and it's not even easy on this side.

Make everybody just make the most out of it.
It is well. I'm not saying the hustle is not making sense or not a gate way for a young hustler, but for those from 45 upwards, I think will should not match their strength with a young dude like Felicity that can still carry calabash for community cleansing.

My oga I was thinking enh... Don't you think it's time the mod closes this thread and make part2 of it because the rate at which newbies are coming up with repeated questions that have severally been attended to it will make you wonder the volume of research they'll have to go through before getting an answer to their questions. For this fact I just thought it will be wise to close this very one and then start a fresh one with part2 so that a new era can commence because most of the monikers are not even active anymore and again a newbie can go quote a post made 2/3yrs ago without even knowing it's long gone.

Guys your input is needed. I need to change my AC compressor. The follow come is automatic. Butb@s advised by dru23, it is better I get same automatic replacement. Lal the ac technicians I talked to are suggesting manual. They said I may not get genuine automatic.

For those who have changed from follow come to manual before, abeg come share your experience and advice.

I remember when I changed compressors years back, but I I had issue with vibration and belt pulling too.

As the expert's says, that was why I ask you to b observant, a/c man own is to fix ur a/c, the aftermath is not his business. Inbtw, check the price of new compressor, maybe 70/80k, then u will buy new dryer and condenser as case maybe. Check the value of ur car, do the maths and total the expenses in front of u as per soup wey sweet.

Most of the a/c gas used in the market are either fake or substandard.......due to this alot of a/c compressor got damage ..... And a/c compressor that are bought in the spare part market have less than a week guarantee .... And most will last few weeks and u end up buying another again......
And this is why u see alot of manual conversions.. Which is not good for the engine of the car ... We discuss this in the past

We at dru23 will be importing our own hence fourth from now on ....
Yes I know we have, but wetin man go do
