amtheone: I think some ladies are actually the cause of what they are going through. What do I mean; this relationship started as boyfriend and girlfriend and they experience the first beating but in their minds believe that the guy would change and see where they are today.

I see no reason why a lady should stay in abuse boyfriend/girlfriend relationship and allow such to grow into marriage and now they feel trap down by their dictators.
