This your argument i no dey understand oo

What's the population of igbo in Ghana compared to Yoruba?

Do you know how many rooted Yoruba's in Ghana ..

Those spare parts you are talking about, did y know when Yoruba's started spare part business in Ghana cos I have a family friend who their father is a big spare part seller as far back as 1980.

Don't talk what you don't know

Lol. Lets assume Yoruba population is more. But anytime Nigerian shops are locked, the igbos are mainly the victim's. Go and look for videos of Nigerians protesting the locking of shops, show me how many yorubas you see.

Spare parts market you can also go and search for videos of shops locked in kaneshi abosu okayi. Show me how many yorubas are victims.

If its anything trading. Leave it for the igbos. I wont argue about ovation magazine or banks . None of the Nigerian banks in ghana is more than 18 years there. Highest 2003.

When did Ghananians start importation? Its not been up to 25 years.

They all go to togo to buy cars from Nigerians and lebanese. Till date the still drive cars with togo numbers, because its cheaper in togo and they go and renew the papers at the border periodically.

Go to togo asei and asigami markets. Tell me how many yorubas are there.

The irritants have gone to Ghana to cause hatred as usual..

Ghana population is just 20 million and im sure maybe 40% of that population will be foreigners and of that 40% ,95% will be Nigerians.

They struggle to compete with Nigerians. And with little resources available, its tough.

See the way their music artist always complain.

I don't want to go into their girls. This is the major reason they want Nigerians out of that country. grin grin grin

Just go to club, meet a girl and tell her you are a Nigerian. grin grin grin cheesy

She won't talk to any other person in that club. All her attention will be on you. grin grin

The worst thing is that Ghana person go carry benz come club, Nigerian go take taxi come. Girl go leave Ghana man, follow naija for taxi go. grin grin grin

I feel their pains.

Wait first, what's the % of igbo business people that are affected by new Ghana law?

Are they up to 10 % of Igbos doing business in Ghana?

I don't need to talk about the activities of your people in Ghana that they are majorly affected, it's same story in most countries outside Nigeria.

So when you are talking about why majority of your people are affected, you have your answer already

The Ghana law will affect up to 80% of igbo businesses. The law is targeted at retail business which igbos have 80% stake. The reason is that igbos do individual business. They dont believe in partnership. 2 igbos can meet the requirement, but they rather do their business separately.

I know not fewer than 20 igbos who have met those requirements and are not complaining.

Just like Nigerians all over the world, they come with good and bad.

Those igbos who engage in crime, have Ghanaians that also benefit from the proceeds. The hotels, clubs, the women, the landlords , restaurants etc

You want to hear the koko?

Your people are the latest tribe in Ghana to do business... Yoruba's have been in Ghana for decades, there are reasonable Congolese, Cameronians in Ghana doing business before the arrival of your tribe.

Your people came and break the existing rules/laws as how they have been breaking it in some other countries...

You people should stop all this victim mentality... The mentality that people hate you ... Even if they do,they can't just hate you for no reason.

Some years back, I took one of your brothers to Circle to buy a laptop, fortunately the seller is a Nigerian, infact he is from the same local government from the guy in one of the SE state.

To cut the long story short, the laptop stopped working after a week, make the guy refund the money or replace the laptop, except tomorrow. Same local government oo

I don't need to talk much experiences so that it won't be like I am trying to downgrade your region.

It's time for you people to ask why always you?

If majority of other tribes in Ghana doing their businesses are not affected by Ghana law, why your tribe?

When will our leaders make our country better. .

When will we Nigerians become responsible and lead ourselves to make our country better instead of asking some other to lead us?!

Are we not aware that leadership starts first inside our own individual selves, then in our individual homes, then on the streets we live on, then communities we live in, then our society before country?

Can a leader lead my mouth if I can't lead my own mouth myself?

This is why I speak to them in parables", a very wise man once said, so that those who have mouths will see that what I lack is not taken away from me!

Calling Nigeria a Zoo is an insult to a Zoo. Can Nigeria be compared to some Zoos in Japan? Nigeria is like country that went through an apocalyptic event. In that state, they hunt one another and spill blood for the fun it. They kill and parade the head on spikes in the streets of Kano. The animals in the Zoo are malnourished because hungry humans have eaten their ration. In Nigeria, Savages kill at the slightest provocation and tell you that their kinsmen are Colonels in the accursed army of the country. They carry dagger, arrow and now AK47 on the streets of the accursed country.

Nigeria is a curse word whose Intl Passport attracts odium from decent humans. Let her habitation be desolate for the much blood in her midst. Let God spare the innocent in her midst who are crying for justice.

Nice one. So you have confirmed the domination in the retail industry in Ghana. So thats why the law affects igbos more. Because its targeted at retail. You would have taken the guy to a yoruba shop . like i said, wont want to go into the crime here because igbos and yorubas dey drag am. Hushpuppi in dubai and invictus obi. So lets leave crime matter and focus and the ghana law and problem in the retail sector. Ghanaians have limited resources and cant compete with igbos in the market. There are very few Yoruba's in retail sector there.

God won't save you. Only you can sit your ass up and do something about the situation. EndSars was a time of change... The youths should wake up for another round. Why on Earth would God save you when you can do it yourself? undecided
Nigerians are fond of this talk of calling God to save them Bla bla blaaaaaa... I hate it passionately. It shows a nationwide cowardice level and it's not good

You people are really funny, Ghana are saying this is their law, you are claiming of having an objection...

Didn't Nigeria close it's border for years?

If your people are not ready to abide by the law of Ghana, tell them to return back home instead of giving Nigeria bad names in abroad.Afterall it's your tribe that are majorly affected...Why?

If there are more Yoruba's in Ghana, it's logical to say the more they are the more of them would be into business...

Foreign tribes that dominated businesses in Ghana are Yoruba's... That's not something to argue about.. It has been like that for decades and still remain the same..

Old record of Yoruba's in Ghana is 400k+ while Igbo's are just 60k

Even if there are new set of Igbo's that migrated to Ghana recently, they can't match up with the figure on ground.. So how can they dominate where they are minority

That name has become household in Ghana.

LoL...

So how long have the likes of Dele Momodu with their businesses been in Ghana?

Reason why I asked when Igbo people start to travel to Ghana is because those electronics shop, circle gsm are not even existing in Ghana as far back as 2010..

I don't do tribal Tom and di.ck measuring.. If you here established Yorubas in Ghana, Real Estate, Banking and Finance, Entertainment, Transport, Stationery books..

I do not think I would want people who call their own country a zoo to come to my country, to be honest.

First, if they call their own country a zoo the people must be animals even if they do not know it, and animals, wild ones especially, should remain in their cage and not come to my own country to turn it into a zoo like they did to their own country.

Besides, if those who call their own country a zoo are constantly attacking each other from different tribes, will they not come to my own country and be attacking my different to them country people?

Yes, if I was Ghanaian I will want irresponsible animals to stay in their zoo and not come and turn my Ghana into a zoo like they irresponsibly do to their own country Nigeria without ever admitting responsiblity, so I will not ask you to go back to your zoo, I will hunt animal down, put animal in a cage, and fly animal back to its zoo where animal belongs!

Thankfully, not all Nigerians call my country Nigeria a zoo.

VERY WELL SAID.

YOU CANNOT BE CALLING YOUR FATHERLAND A ZOO, AND THEN COMPLAIN WHEN YOU ARE TREATED LIKE AN ANIMAL AND OUTCAST BY THOSE WHO HEAR YOU...

Where did you get the statistics from? When did Igbo people start traveling to Ghana?

Ever heard about Mokola market in Ghana?

Yorubas have been doing business with Ghana for almost 300 years

Since the days of Basorun Gaa when the Oyo Army defeated the Asante at the battle of Atakampe in 1768 in Togo

Ghanaians are Good neighbors and Peace loving People

Only enemies of Progress will say otherwise

A good part of Ogbomosho and Ejigbo were born and raised in Ghana by traders who had been living there for generations
