Adaka fought the real war.. Ojukwu also fought for one nigeria.

Goodluck on ur biafra new identity bro..
. You are sounding like my guy, Tst bauer. Did you school in Uniport? We never agreed on a lot of things, from religion to Biafra. Truth is that, we lack visionary leaders who could bring real change to us. Look, Niger Delta without a purpose other than oil would be a mess. I need a people whose determination can bring real change. And besides, with tribalism already learnt from one Nigeria, suspicions of domination will continue to thrive even in one niger delta. It is not all utopia with oil money.

I have told u before majority of igbo people prefer n igbo only nation

At worse a very lose republic of the old eastern region

If we have our igbo only nation , our sea port would be at abia

Then anyone who stops our ships from coming in is only asking for war simple ...it's not too much issue

South south should stay on their own let igbos state on their own

I wish you reflect the mindset of most Igbo but I fear unfortunately not, Igbo hatred is starting to boil in the Niger Delta. Yoruba are sensing Igbo elite, much wiser than Igbo nairalander knows no one outside of the South East will join Biafra are scared of Nigeria's dissolution and might in the end join the Fulani to crush secessionist. If you look across the south today, Igbos remain stoutly amongst the last defenders of One Nigeria. Igbo elites are proud to speak Yoruba and Hausa and hate to live entirely inside Igbo land. They dread the end of Nigeria.

So it was foresight for the Igbo to kill Ijaw people? Let the Igbos go and kiss the feet of Miyetti Allah if going to kill people in their homelands is what you call foresight.
Did you know that Adaka Boro was equally hated by his own people for oppressing them? In fact, his own father laid a curse on him. Adaka borrow killed a lot of ijaw men suspected of supporting Biafra. Adaka borrow was not a saint himself. And again, ijaw people killed a lot of Biafrans too, especially Adaka boro. Also, a lot of Biafran soldiers were drowned in the rivers by ijaws who were ferrying them across communities, they purposely capsized the boats. It was war, and a lot of atrocities happen on both sides.

Your hate for me is unfounded, it is unfounded towards the igbos, too. Look, I come from a place that is filled with oil and gas in the River Nun area. And I have seen the exploitation of my people. I can not fathom why as an Ijaw man anyones hatred is towards the Igbos who since the end of the civil war has not been in the seat of power to control my resources. That is bullshit. I know who my anger should be towards to.

I don't think if we had been through what the igbos passed through in the civil war and thereafter, we would be able to find one single ijaw man who is not a criminal. Just resource control that we don't have, the number of illegal oil bunkery workers is alarming.

You are a despicable Igbo liar. You are complaining about people being employed by bunkerers, but you are not complaining about environmental issues or the fact that majority of the bunkerers are connected to officials of the Nigerian state , nor that Nigeria is the only Country where people's assets are taken without their consent. Where Igbos being killed by the Nigerian state and the Biafran government? Did Nigeria bury Igbos alive or put them in concentration camps like the Igbos did to Ijaws? Did Ijaws not receive 20 pounds like the Igbos? Nonsense Nigeria is the only country which criminalises people for owning private property passed down from generation to generation because Nigeria wants to access resources on their land for free.

Igbo hatred is boiling because as ever, we always have misplaced priorities. It is niger delta resources being plundered by one nigeria, and if igbos were wise as I would love them be they would have let the status quo remain.

Stop dwelling on baseless lies while arguing online. When and where did Igbos bury Ijaws alive or put them in concentration camp? The only major issue that affected all parts of the defunct Biafra was the forceful recruitment of youths into Biafran Army and Ijaws were not singled out. It happened everywhere including Ojukwu's hometown of Nnewi.

How exactly did Igbos as an ethnic group make Ijaw unable to control their oil? Igbo speaking area has as much oil as or even more than Ijaw speaking area in terms of onshore reserve so Igbos whether as elites or masses have always been in total support of resource control.

Very shameful if that is how to take one's own oil. Look, I have once thought of going that line, but I saw it as cowardice. I will soon be making mature demands to enjoy my oil. That girl and several others who are not indigenes are the top companies' staff enjoying bogus salariea while indigenes are mere contract staff on meagre pays and laid off within six months. That is stupidity. If you can't make demands to be taught those professional courses that will set you up to become the oil big players like the others, then it only shows how foolish one is to go into a risky business of illegal oil bunkery. I have known men who perish in infernos as a result of minor mistakes.

I love Igbo people. I have them as my closest friends and relatives. I detested what happened to them in the civil war. I salute the courage of Ojukwu to act in the manner he did because honor called for no other choice. I support only an Igbo for president if Nigeria were to continue which I am not for. in the beginning was an Nnamdi Kanu fanatic. And then I started listening closer and didn't like what I was hearing. Now I cannot listen to Kanu without my anxiety rising. The more he tried to claim my land the more it became painful to listen to him. I began to dread being in the same country with him. I then realized that if I were Igbo, I would even be more scared of ending up in the same country as him which will be inevitable. Kanu makes it clear the he Kanu will be in charge of Biafra and Biafra will be a dictatorship. An average Niger Deltan listens to Kanu now in dread. He has made Igbo apprehension a diversion to the task of dissolving Nigeria. Many have opined that Kanu's Biafra map reflects that he doesn't really want Biafra and so made all those ridiculous claim to keep his minions going on a pipe dream. That is all good except the kids on nairaland actually believe his claims are real. Ikwere, Anioma, Ika. Isoko. Ibibio Kalabari or Ubiaja people might come and shout all day to the contrary, but the Biafran mindset is made up. They're all coming with us. all of them beyond Warri self. The two words Nnamdi Kanu hates the most to hear are Niger Delta. So much so that the zoom meeting of The Mid-West Group was consumed with buying arms and training local ilitias to defend against Biafra as soon as Nigeria breaks up. The fear Igbo aggresion is getting real.

I have just told you that boro was equally brutal to his own people, especially those with different views. Some Biafran soldiers did not know how to swim, and they were ferried from community to community by the indigenes. Most were drowned in that process.

After studying this thread I've come to discover that non-Igbos are more concerned on how to stop Igbos from developing than how to develop themselves. Nigeria is building railway to Niger republic in order to ease importation via Nigerian ports to Niger but everything being discussed here is how to stop Igbos from trading via Niger Delta in the event of an imaginary secession. Presently Igbos are not using the Niger Delta ports because of conspiracy to deny Niger Delta the gains of thriving Ports. Igbos import through Lagos ports and that is the attraction of most mega commercial ventures to the city.
