Been crazy busy at the shop so not much time to make videos. These are a few cars getting worked on right now though. Will be posting some more detailed ones soon.

We learn from our mistakes and now have license plate covers wink

Oh, and looking for two or three more techs as we are struggling to meet demand.

Radautoworks can I pls get you opinion on this.

Good evening all, I want to appreciate everyone on this thread for their wealth of experience shared and most especially GAZZUZZ for creating the thread and ensuring that all issues raised get response. The experience gotten from this thread and other threads on nairaland with the help of God helped me to get a super neat car from a fellow Nairalander (An Honda Accord DC Naija used). Its been joy since I bought it.
But something is giving a serious concern, I bought the car nine months ago during COVID-19 as at then Mobil 5w20 was not in the market and I needed to service it, so my mechanic sudgested I use Mobil 20w50 which I opted for as the car was very due for service. I had serviced it twice after that using same oil (20w50) though at lower milage put on it (first @ 500+ mile and second @ about 1000 mile ) because I service it at exactly 3 months interval. I bought it with 160,000miles on it and a had only put like 2500miles on it.
The issue now is that I want to go back to its recomended oil, is it safe to do that at this point owing to the fact that I have only used 20w50 for nine months.
Let me stress that the engine is still rock solid still drips water @ exhust and no issue at all.
pls I need your advice on this profs in the house so that I did not shoot myself on the foot. Thanks

So... This isn't his thread lol... It's mine lol. I think you meant to post to a different thread. But to answer your question, depends. Was the previous owner issuing 5w20? If so, go for it. If you have a problem, revert.

Aunty Radu,

Good morning,My question goes thus, I have a 2010 Corolla I intend to tow with a Honda CR-V 2013 using u-haul tow dolly, from WV to NJ.(550 miles apart) U-haul said I can't tow it because the load will be too much for the CR-V especially as regards the breaking system and they can't be liable etc.
Besides the break issue, is there any other damage that might happen to the CR-V? E.g will it wreck the transmission/ engine if I go ahead with this.
Secondly am considering getting a F-150 for this occasional towing but it's a little bit pricy, do you think a Nissan Xterra can handle this considering it's an off road and it comes with an average of 3.5 liter engine.
Ps: WV, MD are mountainous areas so I will be ascending and descending hills on the trip.
Thank you

Do not try it with the CR-V. transmission can't handle it especially in mountainous terrain. Get a decent truck. I wouldn't recommend the xterra either. Technically it could but that's not what is designed for. Get the Ford F series though be ready to burn gas. Better to get a diesel.

Good day Ma'am. I have a 2012 Ford Focus that I just repossessed after being away for my PG studies. I noticed that when the car is idle and you engage the transmission in drive or reverse, there is this intermittent long vibrating kind of sound that comes out of the car. Sound continues when car is being driven and it's in first year but goes away once it changes to the second gear. I also noticed that the transmission fluid is way overfilled when I check the dipstick. Do you think I will be good to go if I drain and guage the transmission fluid or I'm looking at a bigger issue here? The car changes and drives fine. Thanks

Hello,

You need to drain and refill the transmission fluid with the right fluid. As for the noise it would have to be checked in person.

Because of the incredible support we have received, we can no longer keep up with the volume of customers in a walk-in basis. For now, we will be operating based on appointments only. Quick changes like oil and brakes are still available via walk-in.

As we open more locations to spread the load we hope to be able to return to walk-ins for all services.

Thank you for your support and understanding.

Hello, is there an alternative to premium fuel for an Infiniti G37x? More like a fuel additive to compensate for unavailability of premium fuel.
Secondly, do you have MAF cleaner in stock? My BMW mpg is declining, scanned but no codes. How much if available?

1, Yes and 2, yes. We have a few options. I put our favorite below. Use one bottle a month.

Lol, that generation Focus is notorious for having a totally useless transmission.
