I can imagine the liters of tears you shed as you typed this. LMAO!

Did you skip basic English classes to have come to this understanding of the word “unclad”? LMAO!

Also, regarding “changed mouth” — you know what to do if you wish to be taken seriously on this.

And I think you wish to be taken seriously. So, do the needful.

In other words, provide comparative evidence of my comment in relation to which I have now “cHaNgEd mOuTh”.

Yeah one thousand years ago, we tied wrappers (and evolved other styles later in the course of time).

1,000 years ago, Igbos swing n@ked from tree to tree. In fact, Igbos we’re still n@ked only 200 years ago.

Cheers!

(1) Thermoluminescence test dates that image to circa 700 — 1000 years ago. cheesy

In other words, the Yoruba have an understanding of clothing many, many centuries ago; while their Igbo counterparts were still swinging n@ked from tree to tree in as recent as 200 years ago.

(2) Agbada usage in Yorubaland didn’t date to circa 700 — 1000 years ago, and I can’t remember any Yoruba saying that.

My point have consistently been that (and I challenge you to show where I said otherwise) that the Yorubas’ agbada usage must have been at some later period in the course of our cultural evolution. I also maintain that it wasn’t borrowed from the Hausas, contrary to your brother’s false, unsubstantiated claim.

Cheers!

Why the shift from “unclad” to “semi-clad”?

Anyways, the figure does not depict a semi-clad male.

The lower part is covered in textiles from the waist to the legs. The upper part is covered in some elobarote beaded regalia.

Yes, at that period, Igbos were swinging n@ked from tree to tree.

But u were bragging of how u guys wore cloth before Adam, the Nubians, kushuites and co.
Provide the evidence for where this claim was made if you wish to be taken seriously.

Now u changed it to 1000years.Sorry o
Change? LMAO!

Change means switching from “unclad” to “semi-clad” as you’ve done here. That’s you, not me.

Prove that I changed anything if you wish to be taken seriously.

Yes, Yoruba made and used textiles many, many centuries ago as seen in the attached image below which dates to circa 700 — 1000 years ago.

I’m not sure where you got the impression of “change mouth” from. Wait, is hallucination an Igbo thing?

For the sake of summary and helping your amnesia, the following are the indices of Yoruba civilization which I had touched on:

(A) The best architectural feat found in the West of Africa.

(B) The best classical artworks (in diverse media) from sub-Saharan Africa.

(C) The knowledge and use of textile/clothing since the classical/ancient times.

(D) The knowledge/presence of street paving in Ife (and other parts of Yorubaland) over 1,000 years ago.

(E) The innovation of a social-order based on a self-evolved government system now known as monarchy.

Among several others, such as writing (as evidenced on the ancient Oranmiyan obelisk); the best bow-men in Africa (as noted by Clapperton’s team); shiny walls (in relation to which the best from Benin could not come close in comparison, as may be seen in H.L. Roth); etc.

Nsibidi is a system of writing.
I did not say they didn't walk around naked, yes most of them walked around naked but you're making it seem as if they all walked around naked and nothing else as if many of them didn't drape a cloth across their bodies which is wrong.

In the jungian cognitive functions the most intelligent type is the NT type and they are more likely to behave like people in Hunter gatherer societies or tribes. Just because the hunter gatherers rarely plant their food does not mean they are stupid, yes they maybe primitive but their hunter gatherer skills are still very valuable up to this day.

Valuable skills such as intuition, empathy and creativity which is the driving force of every great civilization and which is not very abundant in the farmer/pastoralist society.

I do not understand this hunter gatherer talk, Igbos were great farmers, often boosting about how many barns they have.

Guy agbada and other form of dressing have been in existence 700,1000 years ago even before the 700,1000 years
So if Yoruba's were among the earliest civilization back then and if they wore dresses after the 700,1000 years that means they evolved lately and copied agbada and other form of dressing from thier neighbours.Simple

The ancient Egyptians, Indians, etc. are not unclad people. Neither are they semi-clad people. Stop disgracing Igbos online.

The decontextualized images showing some naked women does not imply that the society is unclad or semi-clad. Slave maidens are almost always naked in all ancient cultures.

On the flip, the general images/paintings of ancient Egyptians, Indians, et al. shows them as clothed people. The few decontextualized images of some naked slave-maidens can not overturn the general depiction.

It is a fundamental fact that people who have not come to the discovery of clothing, the knowledge of the use of clothing, or widespread use of clothing; can not possibly evolve greater index of civilization.

Ancient Nubians and kush were semi clad. The ones that were fully clad were the ones that mingled with the Egyptians the period thehyksos from the east conquered and ruled Egypt.

Below are sculptures of ancient Nubian Candace and kings that ruled Nubia, before they later mingled with Egypt ruled hyksos. They influenced Egypt and Egypt influenced them

These are pictures of ancient Nubia and kush before and when they mingled with Egypt..Some of them moved around semi unclad becose they were comfortable with it not becos they weren't civilized. In fact they were more brilliant than the hykso,Assyria controlled Egypt in terms of astrology, medicine, architecture, agriculture and co
