The ancestries of the king of a community doesn't necessarily define the ownership of the community. For instance, the earliest written books about Onitsha said that the kings of Onitsha were of Bini ancestries but is Onitsha part of Bini land now?

Give us the name of the earliest written book on Onitsha that claimed Benin ancestry.
Have you also ever heard of Igodomigodo, an ancient Nri-Igbo outpost, now presently occupied by modern Benin?
You cannot talk about Benin without exploring their Igodomigodo past. NRI is at the core of everything, in that area.

However the earliest Portuguese account of Benin clearly pointed out the cultural and spiritual overlordship of Nri-Igbo over Benin, and the fact that before any Benin oba was crowned, permission and the blessing of ancient Eze Nris must be secured first. Till today Benin still makes use of the Nri-Igbo market days, as a visible evidence of past links between the two civilisations.

Also until about 55 years ago, Nri-Igbos crowned every Obi of Onitsha. So NRI has all these areas covered. No revisionism can alter it.

Ancient Ubani people clearly stated they were Igbos. Ijaws in Ubani are just immigrant porters. That's all

At what point or place?
I understood all This madness...To claim ownership of Bonny and Opobo, you have to establish that Ndoki originated from Ijaw..
Liars!!!
No ancient history book ever written on Opobo and Bonny ever said they are Ijaws..But there are a lot of History books available that said they are all Igbos..Do you think Igbo people will fold their hands and leave Bonny and Opobo in the hands of Ijaw should Nigeria disintegrate along ethnic lines?

Don't use that one for me at all.
We know I speak English, I bear English name and practice some English Culture cause I was colonized by the English/Britain..
Same way some french speaking African countries were.

But we all know Etches were colonize by the Igbos. Infact the Igbos didn't had colonies..
They didn't go on all conquering missions like the Benin..
So Pray tell, how else will the Etches speak igbo, bear igbo names, practice Igbo culture and yet they ain't igbo when they weren't colonized by the Igbos? Unlike me speaking English cause I was colonized by the british

Before the British invasion in Nigeria, how did Etche Identify themselves?
What identity did they give themselves?
If Nigeria is to divide along Ethnic lines,Ijaw will lose a lot of Communities even in Bayelsa..

Lol, Achebe that finally died bitterly and miserably after years of being heartbroken that he couldn't win the Nobel Prize (the highest honour in the literary world) that a "failed writer" like Soyinka won? Lmao.

Lol pained soul, I still maintain my stand wole soyinka shouldn't be in same sentence with Achebe..your Nobel prize winner is nothing but a local champion..a failed writer who had to take solace in politics to cover up all the time and energy he spent writing jibi jaba he called novels that couldn't sell to a thousand copies.
This is what the great Mandela has to say about Achebe.
"The writer in the presence of whom the prison walls come down. That was how President Nelson Mandela described him. Simply put, and deservedly so, Prof. Chinua Achebe is Africa's most widely read author. His debut novel, Things Fall Apart has been translated into 42 languages with over 40 million in sales. In spite of how much he constantly downplayed or sometimes denied it, he is widely regarded as the 'father of the African novel."

The bold part explains everything on why the Ijo are aggressively looking towards incorporating Ndọkị into their realm, bkos without Ndọkị their hollow claims to the Igbo Ụbanị exclaves of Bonny and Opobo won't be tenable. Even self, their hold on Okirika is shaky too because the Okirika migrated from Ndọkị land.
In fighting Ijo expansionism, every Igbo must understand how important Ndọkị is, because thats the pivot holding their useless claims together. Even the Ijo themselves know that unless they bring Ndọkị into thier fold, any claims they hold on Okirika and the Ụbanị exclaves are as worthless as the saliva their mouth loses whilst making the claims tongue
