God created this earth to use it for His glory. Therefore, everything that exists here and now is for His glory. He is so incomprehensible that He can use even the evil works of the enemy to bring good to His children.

He created the basic principles upon which this earth is built, and gave us the ability to live by these principles. Each of these things are put in place to enable us live the lives that He has set for us. They all serve their purposes with respect to our relationship to others and God Himself.

For example, it is God's desire and will for humans to reproduce and fill the earth, that is why He gave us the ability to reproduce. He gave us wisdom, strength and the ability to work, because we are created in His image. Every basic ability we exhibit here is an expression of who God is. That is why it is said that the things we see explain the things that we do not see.

Let me ask a counter question. If believers are supposed to do all those things you mentioned, then what is the point growing into adults? Why don't we all just die and fade away like that?

Jesus' imminent return does not have to affect our natural abilities. It doesn't stop us from doing things that we need to do to keep us alive.

If a man does not work, how will he feed? If a man does not feed, how will he find strength to do the work of God? If humans don't have the ability to reproduce, how will a child be born? God has specific purposes for every human being He creates. It is not about us, it is about Him. That is why no matter how much we try to avoid a particular occurrence, it ends up happening one way or another.

Did you know that Christianity has an all-pervasive impact on western civilization? -- arts, sciences, politics, law, music, etc. So clearly, God sanctioned these things. If He didn't, then it must have been sinful to Him. Aren't these things bringing glory to Him despite how other folks have contaminated them?

What makes you think that Christians don't make half of the world's population, and what makes you think that there won't be more Christians each day passes by?
