Ehya... I am not a guru o. But i will suggest you upload that letter from your school to your visa office's webform and write a strong appeal in the body to assist you in making that deadline.

May it end well. Amen

Dear gurus
I received a biometric verification letter since 19th of August and I’ve not gotten any feedback since then
I’m so bothered , my school said I’ll have to defer if I don’t submit my study permit approval by 14th of September. I applied on the 29th of April
I’ll appreciate your advices please

It's only fair I post my sister's progress here as I genuinely enjoyed reading about people's passport requests. It gives you so much hope. I can't wait to pick my baby sister from the airport. I wish those awaiting approval courage and speed.

Good morning my people.
I applied 13th May, woke up this morning to send a mail to ircc nairobi.
I got my application refused based on personal assets and financial status.
I paid 11k CAD and I still showed a POF of 15.5m after that.
I will pay full tuition this time around and am waiting for my gcms notes too.

Please I will need the services of some gurus in the house.

Please how can I contact frankboboe and lekiboboe?

Love you all

As I always tell people. It is not by paying fees alone or showing a hefty balance.

do you have strong home ties that you were able to prove?
do you have a stable income ?
did you get lump deposits into your account for this process that you were not able to justify ?
does your study plan correlate with your work or previous studies?

Let us keep hope and Faith alive

Yh...
Eligibility hasn't started yet and I didn't request my notes. But I sent two webforms and emailed an MP. I haven't receiveda response from ircc on my Web form or a response from the MP either.

ChisZom:

Amen thanks so much and I wish you a positive decision from ircc. Amen Eligibility hasn’t started yet on your file? Have you ordered your gcms?

I actually had to submit on May 14th so I can meet up with the May 15th deadline.

He was responsible for the entire application process starting from advising me on the right course of study to securing admission and then my study visa application. He was very clear and professional every step of the way. I truly appreciate his support as I could not have done it on my own. I paid him for his services and I saw the value of every penny I paid for. For those of you in doubt, I can assure that Uncle Frank (fandrglobal.com) and his team are the very best experts when it comes to Canadian Immigration matters.

The SOP was drafted , well worded by Uncle Frank the amazing.
Thanks for the patience

For those whose application is still pending and those who are yet to start, I wish you all the very best.

Yeah. It helps me greatly. Thanks for taking time out to offer this detailed reply with your own personal experience.

I even started working a year before my graduation and I have remained in that same job up till his hour but it is unfortunate that my course of study does not related to my current job. Although I would love to continue and pursue a higher degree on what I studied in the university rather than a complete change.

I have a diploma and Bsc in Microbiology but working in a bank as marketer for 14 years now. I love my sciences, but from what you are saying, my chances are higher if I consider social science related Master program.

Would I be denied if I go for a STEM course?

Tricky!

Its very tricky because:

1. though your first degree is related to the intended masters prog, there is a huge study gap;
2. your intended masters program is not related to your present work.

Applicants in your type of situation are usually advised to go for programs that relate to their present work/business.

However, IF you can give a cogent and tangible explanation in your SOP for switching because of your academic background, (for example you ardent desire to still go back to health sciences notwithstanding your many years of work experience in the banking industry), you MAY scale through.

Correct me if I am wrong: I think Microbiology is a health science and not a social science, right?
I am not sure if STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) includes social science courses. You will need to research into that.
And I think your chances are higher if you go for Business/Finance related Masters program.

Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot.

But how do I link the application to the biometrics as I wasn’t give any form of slip or something? And when addressing my letter should I address it to their embassy here in Abuja or Lagos?!

Plus can I still get a GCMS notes for that application (2019)?

Your situation is beyond my purview, but I hope you get some help from my suggestions:

On the issue of linking your application to/with unknown biometric details - You may have to get in touch with the VFS office where you did your biometrics to sought that out.

On the address to be used: what is the letter all about?

For GCMS notes clarifications, reach out to Anon123. He may have some answers for you.

I did my biometric over a month ago but i still have ''We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message below for details'' on my application.

What is the implication? or do i need to upload the slip given at the center via webform?

Thanks.

I would suggest you contact the Vfs office where you did your biometrics. Their response will guide you on whether to send the slip via web form or not.

Hope this helps.
