If ypu dont have the capability to fund yourself, why not discuss it with your supervisor

BunmiBie:

Please, when I was applying, they ask if I am relying on then to fund me or I can fund myself.

I feel this is tricky. What would you suggest I select in this case?
Thanks

hi house, am a may 25th applicant still expecting my PPR and my school have started since on the 6th of September and I have deferred my admission to 2022 fall since my program is only in class program, and has only fall start. The school sent me a letter informing me that since I defer my admission it not a guarantee of admission for fall 2022. Should i upload the letter from the school or wait for IRCC to make a decision.Thanks.

Hello Lekiboboe, thanks for your head up the last time. I just got a positive response from a supervisor willing to supervise my thesis if admitted. My question now is, do I ask him about funding possibility?
The school is Ryerson University and the requirement for admission is getting a supervisor before putting in application for admission.
Should I go ahead and ask him about funding?
I really want to be sure of getting funding before putting in application.
Thank you.

Hello, Start applying. Check the school's website to know if they've started accepting application for Fall 2022. Most schools application starts in September while for some October.

I have not completed my application and I have not gotten a supervisor yet
Do you suggest I wait to get a supervisor before completing my application or just go ahead with my application and wait for supervisor approval.
The program is M.Ed thesis based

Get admission first , then submit your application and do your upfront medical to fast process your app
Alright. Thanks
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Iffylove: 8:12am On Sep 15, 2021
First, check out for the admission requirement for your course...
if getting a supervisor is a condition for admission, then I will advise you to get one before applying but if otherwise, then you can go ahead

But I don't really understand these people
Last year during the pandemic, I know of someone that applied in September and got ppr in November..
Now that there are vaccines and the situation is getting better, they are still attaching delay responses to covid
It will still end in praise

I think they don't respond to ordinary email, my thought though because I raised webform twice at the beginning of last week and they didn't respond, later on Friday I copied email the school sent me to them, asking them to help facilitate my application and today they responded by replying the email I copied them

Good day my people, my school just told me that they will only give enrollment letter when I lands in Canada, and I have read a lot here that immigration asks for it before boarding and even at the POE, what document can serve as a substitute ?
Or are there cases like this and were they allowed to board without Enrollment letter ?

Hello Nairalander and gurus

All efforts to get colleges in Ontario that offers 2 years Post graduates certificate program in Human Resources Management or related courses have prove abortive.

Only Lambton colleges offer 2 years but the course is high, $27500 tuition fees and application fees of $150. It also includes lots of conditions and not available for May and June 2022 intake. Others colleges only have 1year program.

What would you advice me to do?

Then, kindly print out that mail you sent to school and theirs stating they will only give you an enrolment letter once you land in Canada when going to the airport. If they ask for an enrolment letter at the airport, you now tell them orally about it and show the mail as proof of our verbal reply. Please when printing the mail, ensure the school email address, date of reply, and your email is showing clearly.

Again, if you have enrolled in the class, kindly print a page of your class screen as another proof of enrolment.

My humble opinion though

I checked it before. It is the same 1year program(see attached). It is just making me sick and I don’t want to put myself in a tight corner by taking a year program.

Confused!!!
