Meanwhile my major headache now is how to source fX for living expenses, buying a return ticket for PTA is out of it, makes no sense and I did the maths, will be saving only about 200k if I’m forced to buy PTA using return ticket.

Hello
Good morning.
Please after sending my passport for stamping, am I expecting another letter or document from IRCC?
Do I still need to check my application Port for updates or am I done with the portal?

Yes, I uploaded the Visa to my admission portal and it was approved but the enrollment was not sent to me automatically and it is not showing in my admission portal, so I sent an e-mail to the school asking for the enrollment letter and I was replied this morning that I will only get it when I arrive in Canada.

Print your mail and the schools reply and travel with it so they will know its not your fault you dont have it yet.

Just going through my LOE that I submitted I discovered I only mentioned I am married with a son that is because my daughter was not born when I wrote the letter but I included her in family information form and added her birth certificate. My daughter was born on 23rd of August and I have prepared my letter weeks before her arrival and I submitted my application on 27th of August.
Does this mean anything? Or nothing to worry about. I just discovered now cox I was so busy with hospital runs and visa application. Na now my eye clear.

I will advise you update IRCC by sending the birth certificate of your daughter through webform.

The child needs a visitor visa

Anon123:

Your profile looks good but i need to let you know A VISA IS NOT A RIGHT BUT A PRIVILEGE.

1)That being said, your chances are 50/50..
2) If you include him, he will get a work permit but why dont you go with your child while your hubby serves as a hometie for you.
3) Not really since the child is still very much young.

just to add a bit of critique so you can counter it in your application when the time comes, you said your husbands job is freelance so i am not sure that will sit well with a VO as proof that you will actually return. is there a possibility you apply first then get the study permit using your child and husband as home ties and then apply for your family afterwards and then use that same freelance work as a means to solidify your husbands application for his own swop? because it will be a tall order that your family is very mobile despite the properties if you apply with yout husband and your kid. it may come across to them as you not being a genuine student seeing as you are carrying a career mobile husband as well as a young toddler that may distract the academics. (this is all positive critique that you should attempt to alleviate from the VOs mind) btw your child needs a visa and your husband a swop. or you could simply get them both a visitor visa and at the point of entry change to whatever is required of them.

I appreciate the critique.
I think we will go with the visiting visa. So the two of them will apply for visiting visa separately?
Can they apply for it when I am applying for my student visa, so that we will go together at once.
Will my husband get swop at Canada port, like will they not probe him and disqualify him.
I don't intend to leave then behind sad

If you seek funding from the school, you need to get a supervisor

I will start seeking for a supervisor then. Thanks

I have not been myself concerning this proof of fund thing. Must one have a certain amount of money in his account all through the six month before printing statement? I submitted two accounts statement. One is 6 month with monthly inflow and a balance of 2m. The money don't stay. But I have inflow and outflow of about 50m plus while the other account has 25m closing balance with inflow and outflow of about 26m plus. But my fear is that, one is just one month statement but the money was there all through that month untouched. We got that from a sales of properties. Hope I am safe with this?

Honestly I don’t think the vo really look at proof of funds so deep, they really don’t care if you have 100million in your account. They just want to know that you have financial stability from your work at home, if someone shows 2million closing balance balance but earns let’s say 18 million per year and you’re able to prove it through your payslips or letter of recommendation from your work place, that person still has a good chance

Good evening guys, pls I have Hnd in Estate Management and Valuation and I'm looking to have my Pgd in Canada. but in the course of my research, I didn't find any relating course to Estate mgt with over 1 year duration. Meanwhile a friend already advised that I'll need a course of at least 2yrs duration so as to be given 3yrs work permit or more. Now my question is can I find an Environmental sciences course for PGD in any college in Canada for at least 2years duration?

Engineering Technology- Environmental

Check this program at Conestoga College..It might be related.

Sorry for the denial dear

Who was your sponsor
How much was in the account
did you include your own soa?
How much was in it?
Were there lump sums?
if yes, was there any document like gift deed or pay slips or sales invoice to prove the amounts
