That's good news, ur school might want to play it safe cause January classes might be in person, so they need to be sure of the amount of persons coming in.

Thank you, I just called my student advisor and he said that the school is going to send out a document by October that is going to suffice the enrollment letter, I wonder why they are insisting on issuing enrollment letter upon landing.

Hello Username

If your Dad will be your sponsor, then you will need to submit his SOA and other documents listed below

Letter of sponsorship from your dad (stating support for your travel expenses, required quarantine stay and miscellaneous expenses)

- MBS of your sponsor's savings account
- MBS of your sponsor's pension account
- your Sponsor's investment assets
- your Sponsor's international passport
- your Sponsor's work ID
- your Sponsor's last promotion letter
- Sponsor's retirement letter (If he is retired)
- Sponsor's pension authorization letter
- Sponsor's car(s) ownership document
- Sponsor's landed properties documents..

Yes you can consider your application as self sponsored, if you are more than convinced and certain you can sponsor yourself all through your stay in Canada.. Also if you are married, you must show funds apart from your School funds to show that you will still have enough funds to take care of the family you are leaving behind.. You must also have assets and properties to show that you are more than capable to be a self sponsor.

And most importantly, you must be able to convince the Visa officer of your ability to comfortably take good care of yourself all through your study in Canada, because its one thing to have all the required funds, its another thing to be able to convince the Visa Officer..

If you know you can't sponsor yourself, your Dad or Mum can be your sponsor, rather than a 3rd party sponsor..

It will end in praise..

Peace

Hello all,
I need advice on an issue.
If my dad does a gift deed of an amount that is sufficient for my entire duration of studies and sends the money to my account, do I still need to submit his account statement? If I don't, is there any other supporting document that I need to submit for him?
Also, Can I consider my application as self sponsored since I have all the funds I need in my account?

Please your urgent responses will be appreciated.

Thanks to everyone congratulating me! May yours come soon!

God has done it ooooooo

PPR IS HERE TEAM!

Omo i typed my testimony since 9th of September with faith ooo cos i know i was next to be congratulated!

Applied may 14th (normal route, didn’t get NSE request)
Biometrics May 20th
Upfront medical updated to pass May 20th
Eligibility started September 8th
Bvl dropped September 9th
Another wait with sadness started
PPR dropped just now September 15th

I want to thank you all for the support and most especially almighty God for his grace!

My application was so simple that when i joined on trend 19 i became so worried cos my sister submitted just very few documents.

Age 22 as of when i applied in May but 23 when they approved
1.My bsc statement of result
2.My sponsor’s statement of account and letter of introduction ($51,000)
3.My sponsor’s tax, and where they work and their passport numbers (they stay in Canada)
I don’t have any personal relationship with my sponsor (we just claimed first cousin)
4.My sister’s house rent showing she already has an en-suite bedroom in her house in Canada for me.
5.My parents and siblings names and home addresses ( I guess that’s supposed to serve as home ties)
7.my school fees receipt

I was so scared! Last time i had a dream that i was in Canada and a stranger was giving me a gift for my mum! I asked God to give me PPR today as my Mum’s birthday gift! (Today is her birthday)

I want to thank you all for the support y’all dish out here, honestly i come here every hour for support cos i was almost losing it! My application is the least packaged I’ve seen in a while but GRACE found me!

To everyone still waiting! Your PPR is already on its way to you! Amen!!! Your application doesn’t have to be perfect. God bless
Congrats
Did you pay any tuition deposit ?

Don't be confused dear, just take it one step at a time. Check people's timeline (both approved and delayed cases), write down documents submitted, check the ones applicable to you and start making a mental note of how to gets those documents.

Your admission requirements should be the first things you should gather at this point, once you have concluded the schools you are interested in, then apply and secure your admission.

PS- I am targeting 2022 Fall and I joined Nairaland around march, these are some strategies I am using to prepare myself sha...

Thanks so much, Makano. You're a boss.
My point is, if he transfers the amount that will be sufficient for everything throughout the program duration to my account, would I necessarily need to submit his account statement?
