Read the article from website. Foundation of Islam was blood. Without human blood Islam cannot survive. There is no love for enemies in Koran as in Bible. Non- Muslims are seen as enemies in Koran.
Yoruba Christians and lies, here's what the bible says:

"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?"
2 Corinthians 6:14-15

Tell yourself the truth, when Namadi Sambo was promoted to VP, and the then deputy governor Mr Patrick Yakowa was to be installed as Governor what ensued?

The people threatened war and all that a Christian can't be their governor. Even after his installation, do you think his death was mourned, rather it was celebrated.

His death was a state sponsored death. Kaduna is as deep an Islamic state as Kano.
I just think we the southern KD people are generally docile, we easily accept what is set before us and not ready to fight for power and control.. especially our old parents who raised us to be too soft and always setting our eyes on god to fight and take revenge for us which I find really funny. I can perceive Kano as very Islamic compared to Kaduna. come on, KD has Churches spread in Every corner, Bars and pubs in Every angle. I give it a 50 50. Tho the muslims are ready to die for power and control so they are more loud In the state than the southern KD people who accept whatever that comes their way.

Not to kill them. Just to avoid them especially in matter related to marriage and worship. Jesus and his disciples never fought any war. Muhammed snd his followers killled people to establish islam. He did not preach love. That's the reason muslms are unloving, wicked and hardhearted.

I read the expose with shock. Now I can understand why an Islamic Cleric in the name of Gumi is defending the bandits. It was strange to me but after reading this, I can now connect the dots. Now I understand why Buhari is not firing on full cylinders to end BH. Now I can relate why a serving minister is strangely sympathetic to the course of Osama Bin Ladin. Can you imagine that the founder of NASCO biscuits that we all loved then, is a big money financier to terrorist organisations esp in the Magreb region of North Africa.

No wonder this APC government is so weird. It is controlled by core jihadist movement activists and sympathisers.

Nigeria's organised Islamic terrorism problem did not start in 2009. It's a lot more insidious than you think.

In May 2021, a 96 year-old businessman died in Rome, Italy. In his lifetime, Ahmed Idris Nasreddin might have amassed a personal fortune of close to half a billion dollars, but the death of NASCO Group’s multimillionaire founder barely made the news. At first glance, the only extraordinary thing about his life story was that it embodied the African entrepreneurship dream.

Nasreddin was an Eritrean who moved to Jos in Nigeria’s Plateau State, and grew his father’s small manufacturing business into a $460 million conglomerate involved in everything from breakfast cereal and confectionery to pharmaceuticals, real estate and energy. After many years of growth and success, he eventually handed his sprawling business empire over to his son Attia Nasreddin, and retired at an old, satisfied age.

In an official statement released after Nasreddin’s death in March, Plateau State governor Simon Lalong said:

“NASCO has over the years remained a major employer of labour in Plateau and continues to contribute to the economic prosperity of the State and Nigeria at large through tax revenue and corporate social responsibility.”

Well that was the cover story, anyway.

In reality, as is so often the case in Nigeria, the gap between the facts and the information released to the public is so wide as to be scarcely believable. What on earth could this shrewd, respectable businessman who looked like he could not hurt a fly have done, to put him in the same article as a story about the world’s deadliest terrorist organisation? Why would the brand he built, which to many Nigerians evokes memories of a beloved childhood breakfast staple, appear in the same sentence as Boko Haram?

To answer these questions, our story begins on another continent in 1955, some 8 years before his father would move to Nigeria and establish NASCO Group.

A Scholar From Zamfara

The year is 1955, and a 33 year-old Islamic scholar from Gummi in modern day Zamfara State has made his way to Mecca for his first Hajj pilgrimage. Alongside him is a certain Ahmadu Bello, who is the Premier of Northern Nigeria. During this trip, the scholar impresses both Ahmadu Bello and the Saudi King Sa’ud with his Arabic translation skills. He rapidly makes a big impression on many locals and clerics in Mecca.

These relationships will later become his most valuable asset following the events that take place after his subsequent return to Nigeria. Upon returning to Nigeria, he takes up positions teaching Arabic Studies at Islamic schools in Kano and Kaduna. His style of teaching focuses on educating his students about the differences between Islamic religious doctrine and local customs. Based on his strict Sunni understanding of the Qur’an, he teaches his students to adopt a ‘pure’ Islamic identity at the expense of practises that he considered bid’ah (roughly translated as ‘innovation’ or ‘corruption’).

What is a bidah?
He also becomes the first Islamic scholar to translate the Qur’an from Arabic into Hausa, which puts him in a uniquely influential position comparable to that of Ajayi Crowther in 19th century southwestern Nigeria. Using this leverage, he becomes an increasingly powerful figure in Northern Nigeria, with his essentialist views on Islamic doctrine gaining popularity. To him, the existing Sufi orders of Northern Nigeria are polluted with bid’ah and unfit for purpose. He becomes well known for attacking the Tijaniya and Qadriyya brotherhoods during his appearances on Radio Kaduna, while advocating for a ‘return’ to ‘Islamic purity.’

Following the death of his friend and benefactor Ahmadu Bello, the scholar finds himself in a precarious situation. The new Nigerian federal government led by soldiers has a motive to crack down on anyone who is outspoken and influential. He may be a giant in Northern Nigeria, but he is a giant with feet of clay. His solution is to seek financial, doctrinal and political help from his friends in Mecca. The Saudis, as always, are ready to help.

His Saudi backers are keen to use him to espouse the Saudi Arabian state’s official interpretation of Islam, which is based on the work of 18th century Islamic scholar Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Wahhab. This fundamentalist doctrine, often known as Wahabbism fits very closely with the teachings of our hero in Northern Nigeria, and he enthusiastically sets about gathering support for this new Saudi-funded project. In the 2009 book ‘The Wahhabi Mission and Saudi Arabia,’ historian David Commins says:

“The [Saudi-funded Muslim World] League also sent missionaries to West Africa, where it funded schools, distributed religious literature and gave scholarships to attend Saudi religious universities. These efforts bore fruit in Nigeria's Muslim northern region with the creation of a movement (the Izala Society) dedicated to wiping out ritual innovations. Essential texts for members of the Izala Society are Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab's treatise of God's unity and commentaries by his grandsons.

Reaching out to his erstwhile students across Kaduna and Kano over the course of the 1970s, the scholar-turned-politician slowly builds a coalition of strategically-aligned individuals who will someday become very powerful people in Northern Nigeria. In 1978, one of his prominent students, Sheikh Ismaila Idris takes charge of this increasingly powerful but somewhat unofficial movement, and calls it Jama'atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (Society of Removal of Innovation and Re-establishment of the Sunnah), also known as JIBWIS.

Based in Jos and known colloquially as the Izala Movement, this organisation will go on to become the most influential Islamic body in Nigeria over the next few decades. Its members will become some of Nigeria’s most revered Imams and clerics. They will achieve high ranks in the Nigerian Armed Forces.

What's happening in the Muslim world is obeying all the commandments of the most High to the best of our ability without leaving anything out whatsoever, and staying firm in the face of all attrition just as the Taali-ban's did with American invasion till the Nasrilah (help from Allah) comes.
It's on the coat of arms anyway you might want to check it out 'Nasru-minnallah' (victory is from Allah) written in Arabic.
Nigeria is actually a Muslim country from the onset, the colonial masters gave the Mantle of leadership to a Muslim cos they know we are in the best position to lead even though the vast majority of them are christians.
Maybe you should adopt a positive mindset towards islam without bias you will understand will islam is suppose to triumph above any other man made -ism's and -schism's

I actually read the whole article and it was an interesting piece of work. Kudos.

It baffles me a lot, Igbos hate oppression and they fight for a just cause. Same with other minority tribes down south who are docile too and are good father christmas to all tribes in the country sharing their oil wealth without thinking of the future. I don't know if the British engineered the minds of the minority tribes to hate the Igbos because they see them as a threat to their dominance. They go to work, live, holiday & shop in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait & Qatar.
While there, they subject themselves completely to Sharia laws & Islamic injunctions that govern these countries.
They even learn Arabic to be able to communicate effectively.
But here in Nigeria that is governed by laws & a constitution that is based on the Christian CANONICAL laws...;
here in Nigeria that uses for all its official documents, schedules & civil observances the GREGORIAN calendar named after Pope Gregory XIII, who issued the papal bull Inter gravissimas in 1582, announcing calendar reforms for all of Catholic Christiandom which gave birth to the Gregorian calendar in use today also called the Western or Christian calendar...;
they want to die whenever they see Arabic inscription on anything. They are so afraid of Islamization & are all running away to the Middle East to escape been Islamized by Buhari.
Self-deceit & idiotic hypocrisy should indeed have a limit!!

How many people are running to middle east o? Liar! Today millions of moslems woke up with the dream of ever stepping foot in the west! But in your convoluted dream you are seeing non existent christians running to the Middle east , May the living God forbid.

A muslim can live peacefully with a Christian and will even be just, fair and tolerate the person!

But a Christian can never allow a muslim drink water if they are majority in a place!

We have christians here in the north doing business in the midst of Muslims and prefer to stay here than in their own region the south!!....

Only northern Muslims consider Nigeria as one. And are peaceful and accomodate Christians

You hardly see a Local Government in the North without a Church. You have the right to build your worship centres anywhere in the North even in Sokoto close to the sultan palace we allow churches and even give Bishop Kuka d right to speak, lie and insult us.

We give you land to build your houses and Churches. You observe your religion without any molestation. You dress the way you want. We buy from you, and we sell to you, this happen only in the North!!!!!.

In return, what we get from you chrstians is genocide, molestation, and total rejection. We accommodate you here in the north, you pusue us out of yourir regions using false flag tactics of fulani herdmen.

Your chrstians killed Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa
That's the story you will NEVER tell your children.
The real traitors in Nigeria are chrstians.

Remember Kaduna Nzeogwu, who killed a man he once called father Sardau a of Sokoto?

Did you ever ask about the fate of Igbo Muslims?

We have muslims that are igbos but did you know how badly treated they are at their own region?

This Hypocrites must stop...

Don't t ever think Muslims are fools for been peaceful and silent!

See how this Muslim just open mouth whaaa...and lied to us. If a Muslim can live peaceably with Christians, why in the North do they love to kill Christians? And why in the Muslim countries do they like to persecute Christians and why is it that when a Muslim live Islam, the penalty is death? Awon omo oni iro buruku

Oga, these guys support the evil. Don't mind them. If you know how much they hate Christians with passion, you will run far from them. They are the antichrist the bible spoke about if yoh don't know, know it kow oooo. They are evil..evil is what they eat and sleep with. Tuee.... Awon omo antichrist ni won

There plan is keep preaching unity and peace and indirectly in secret they carry out their grand plan to wipe out Christians.
I will love to see when David Hundeyin would do his investigative journalism on Christian manifesto. It seems you are not aware of Christians plan in Nigeria with the help of international community?.

They were/are ready to wipe out Islam in Nigeria. If you need the manifesto visit my profile for their plan. However, there are fallacy in David's write up as well as detailed truth especially with regards to not allowing Christian to rule Nigeria. I am aware of this fact. In the article though, some facts are there that can't be denied. And that's is where Gumi's father during Sheikh Adam era, he said Christians will not be allowed to be ruler in Nigeria and Sheikh Adam tackled him those days and shut him up. This story was narrated by Sheikh Habeeb this past Ramadan.

But you are here saying Muslims are intolerant and this and that but Sheikh Adam (ra) fought for the Christians to be president in Nigeria. Then what happened?. Wasnt Obj, a christian the first democratically elected president since 1999?. I voted for him based on ethnicity but the man messed up by bringing up Christianity agenda.

So please endeavor to read Christian manifesto about their plans to end Islam in Nigeria but they failed. However they are still pursuing the agenda. This is why they don't want to see Muslims in high positions in the south West.
