why can't you open up to your lecturers instead of devising a means to eliminate your own Father... I believe you got smart phones.. take couple of pictures and show them with tears in your eyes...

What are you trying to prove to your lecturers?... Why are you bottling things up? ... Are you trying to prove to them by acting tough in their presence that all is well with you when clearly all isn't...No matter how sadist they are, even the devil got soft spots...Assuming your school has students advisors, This situation is enough to granted you a study leave because you can't concentrate.... Please tell your lecturers the situation of things....

You are clearly passing through a traumatic situation at the moment but u have to try your best to leave your dad out of it until his maker calls him...Can you be able to leave with it that you killed your own father for the rest of your life? besides, you have no right whatsoever to take a life u did not make..... he did not kill you when u were a toddler..No matter what you call it, Mercy killing, or kind killing, killing is killing....Thou shall not Kill angry
He has graduated already

If your father were rich, healthy and active, you would claim that God has destined you to have such father and you wouldn't want to kill him. So, take it at destiny and take care of him till natural death. God would bless you

My dear brother, first of all I say well done to you and your family. It has indeed been a tedious journey so far... WELL DONE. May God bless you for all your labour and effort.

PLEASE DON'T HAVE A HAND IN THE DEATH OF YOUR FATHER. Directly or indirectly. Do you still believe in God? I know that by now, you might be saying where is God in all these.. But He is right there with you, even when it feels as though He isn't.

Go to God in prayers and table all these things you shared with us to Him. Tell him you are tired. Give yourself a fast or vigil and just bare your mind to YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER. Delay is not denial dear. This affliction will pass. Just try not to allow negative voices to weigh you down.

Mind you no matter the name it is sugar coated with, euthanasia, abortion, mercy killing etc.. It is MURDER. Don't take a life you can't give.

I pray for you and your family, that by the mercy of God, this affliction comes to an end in your family in Jesus name.

God bless you.

All your allegory, you want to kill him period ,DON'T try it his blood will be upon your head and your generation forever. From your narration ,stop wasting money on all those tests keep him at home feed ,clean him ,Pampers twice daily, pray for him ,do not be downtrodden, tell your mother to continue the care. If the man is healthy and bringing in money NONEof you will complain except if he went and marry another wife. Only God knows what will become anyone of us later in life.Do your best till he answers the call of the Almighty . Ire o.

Religion is damaging your mentality. The dad has been in that state for 12 years now. I'm sure no one would want that for himself. Not being able to talk or do anything yourself.

Drop all emotional sentiments here, think logically. Imagine the peace of mind he and the mom would have, coupled with the amount they'll save not going back and forth to the hospital.

If it were my family member, lord knows he would have been in the ground by now.
It's better for him to be at peace in heaven than to be suffering here In life.

Op,Don't try it o, my late dad went through the same thing with your dad. Infact, we were 4 in the university as at the time the sickness started. My elder brother wanted to drop from school but my mum persuaded him not to. My mother, God bless that woman because l can't do half of what she did. She kept her hopes high and she became our sole provider, and how we all survived in school then, was all God. she persevered and endured with love, she never complained. Three of us graduated at a time since my brother's course was a 5years course. We carried on till l got married, same with him. Though my dad lost his speech, mobility, sense to recognize people or objects, he was spoon fed, bedridden and suffered severe bedsore because of that, but he was blessed with a great wife and hopeful children. He met two of his grandchildren before he died after 11years of sickness in the midst of his family.
So my dear, let your mom endure, hope and persevere, you ain't God to take a life you didn't create. I wish l could tell you more of what we went through, especially my mother but she carried on, as if it's her cross to bear. God is blessing her with health every day and many more to come, for going through such trial without breaking.

NO, you should not kill your Dad.

1. Killing is murder

2. Killing an ill individual without an advanced directive from them is murder

3. Killing ( the correct word is "euthanizing/euthanize" ) an ill individual in Nigeria is a crime under the criminal code. Even if euthanasia were legal, it must be done with an advanced directive in place; in a Hospital; by an assigned, certified Physician; using the proper method; and be documented/have documentation.

This is a human being and not a toy. You don't just decide to end his life at your own will. It's not your call to make.

Life is not all in black and white.
You have no idea what the caregivers are going through over their old man's health. Have you ever nursed someone at the hospital before? The young man is already drained mentally and financially.... The old man can't feel any pain or worry in his current state.

Honestly, men should learn. Don't over stress yourself nor put so much responsion your shoulder. Enjoy life and take care of yourself and the little responsibility that you should try to have.

I believe it should be because of your mum, you and your siblings to have a great life that is why that man over worked and over thought himself. Now, the time he needs love and attention, you thought of killing him. We have seen parent going all out to take care of Autistic, paralyzed and impaired children without complaining and with love.

Now the children on now days to reciprocate such love is something else. What a world.

Hey boy, what I think you need is to just stop all the therapy and all sort since your dad's condition hasn't improved and still becoming worse. Just take him home and care for him like a normal human being. Him getting worse could be psychological due to seeing you and your mom going through so much stress etc. Just stop all the therapy and bring him home..

If you dare suggest euthanasia to anyone in your family, you'll become the bad person and everyone would start watching out for you as the son who wanted to kill his father. No amount of explanation can correct the notion for you.
