There are stages of escalation. Pnd, ask the customer to provide docs for proof of source of funds.

Inviting the Efcc is an overkill and I'm afraid for Kuda. Most of their customers are young people who will never forget this.

800k is too small of an amount to think of involving efcc. No bank would do that talk more of mobile wallet. They wouldn't dare to make such mistake.
OPAY and palmpay wallets can receive 400 without zero confirmation of the user's.
There's very more to it. Efcc arrest you cos you have 800k in your account? Bros noo nah..

I have been operating more than that with Kuda for a long time now with no issue.
And I know some other people Kuda users too.

An account can get blocked for a #10K transaction.

Obviously, the OP story is a half-truth.

EFCC is not involved in suspicious transactions of such amount.
The bank and the customer usually resolve the issue among themselves.
A Nigerian bank is even more likely to cover up for customers in fraudulent transactions situations
whenever possible.

Someone obviously reported the friends account for fraud(real or false) or he got ensnared in an ongoing investigation by
receiving proceed of fraud.

Though I may not have the full gist but I would not doubt the story. I transferred 100k at once to some someone using the bank and they reversed it. The person later sent me the message Kuda sent saying that they rejected the money coming into his account. That the sender should send the money in bits. Imagine a bank rejecting inflow and asking to receive the money in bits. I ended up transferring the money in 2 tranche of 50k.
So imagine I was now sending 500k in tranches, that is enough to flag the account as suspicious even though it is Kuda's fault. Kuda should get their acts together unless they will bite the dust. I kuku don cancel the bank.

My customers sends money to my account and I move it to company's account without any issue... I use it cos of no stamp duty and charges... Have never been questioned
