[quote author=ifyobidiaso post=107523213]Hello,
I am super sad as this my first time applying to UK, I did my biometric 29th of October and I got a refusal mail on the 2nd of Novemeber(priority).
However i feel upset as the consuler did not go through my supporting document infact he made a mistake in his explanation.I clearly stated that I was going to spend 1,200,000 for my trip and in his response he wrote 2,000,000 which I clearly and obviously dint write.I also stated that my husband was going to support with 1m which he transferred to my account and he attached a letter with his signature and stamp.
I also attached my salary account as well as piggyvest and investment account.
I would like to know the next step to take as I even typing this I am yet to get a collection mail from Tls.
I would like for the critics to help look at my information and let me know where i went wrong.[/quot

Sorry ...

Please can you cover your info on your refusal letter to let other people help you out toward your new application?

Is not everyone that saw it when you posted

REASONS FOR REFUSAL NRA v 1.0

The decision
I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the
requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V because.
You state that you intend to come to the UK for a period of 16 days from 10/11/2021 –
25/11/2021 to attend your friend’s graduation ceremony.
You have stated that your spouse will be funding NGN 1,000,000 (£1,777.34 at current
exchange rate on www.oanda.com). Whilst, I have acknowledged that your spouse is willing
to provide adequate support for a limited visit to the United Kingdom; however it is your
circumstances and intentions which are paramount in assessing your application.
You state that you are employed with a net monthly income of NGN 204,000 (£362.57) and
that you propose to spend NGN 2,000,000 (£2,132.81) on your visit. You have stated that
you spend NGN 70,000 (£124.41) on monthly expenses and have declared savings of
£5,000. You have indicated an additional annual income of NGN 5,000,000 (£8,886.69),
averaging to a monthly income of NGN 416,666.66 (£740.55).
I have noted all of the documents you have submitted including the bank statements for your
personal account from Access Bank (account number ending in 3407) which shows your
salary credits and deposits from spouse. However, I note this bank statement shows other
unexplained deposits which are not commensurate with your stated income and
circumstances. The information provided does not demonstrate the source of these funds
and I am therefore not satisfied that this bank statement presents a true reflection of your
financial circumstances or that the funds shown in this account are genuinely available to
you for your exclusive use.
Given that you would not be able to afford to fund this visit without third-party financial
assistance, I am not satisfied that your economic circumstances are settled and that they
constitute ties that tend to support your stated intention to leave the United Kingdom.
Based on the reasons above, I am not satisfied as to your intentions in wishing to travel to
the UK now. I am not satisfied that you genuinely intend a short visit only to the UK and that
you will leave the UK at the end of the visit. Your application is therefore refused under
Paragraph V4.2 (a) and (c) of Appendix V of the Immigration Rules

I feel you bro, I guess the volume of application they receive this year is too much that the ECO don’t have enough time to go through your application abi the ECO get eyes problem?. This is really unfair.

Best thing you can do is to re-apply immediately and explain in details, point out ECO’s misinterpretation in your cover letter and I bet your visa will be issued, this has happened to few people back and it worked, it’s like UK need another visa fee and priority money from you cheesy

Na to pray and fast make I no jam unfortunate ECO again o, cos it seems this particular ECO didn’t even go through my Cover letter and application at all

There's a mixed up some where,

1. Do you declared you wanted to spend 2m on your visit to UK?

2. You have indicated an additional annual income of NGN 5,000,000 ? Is that true or false?

3. You also declared savings of £5,000?

4. unexplained deposits which are not commensurate with your stated income and
circumstances.? Is there any other deposits apart from your salary ?

5. The information you provided does not demonstrate the source of these funds in your account?

My advise is that if truly all what I stated out is true? you have to explained these when you wanted to reapply and please i will suggested that you should try and make your salary account clean don't use it for any transaction apart your salary credited by your employer.

Your salary is fair N204,000 and your monthly expenses is too high 70k that leave you 134,000 monthly disposable. If you want to re-apply you can't use more that your 2 monthly disposable income then your husband can sponsor you like he did , please don't mention any additional saving or income just leave your application simple and straight forward..

Example 2 month disposable income is 268,000

Let your husband sponsor you with 500,000k

total amount to spend for your visit to UK would be =768,000 that's better

That's my own contribution and I believe that our gurus in the house will also input .

Sorry bro try and take time to rectify all unexplained deposits in your acct and make it clear only your salary income should comes in

Thank

Mine was actually 8 weeks on the dot.

Iamajala:

I think they concentrate mostly on the students and those that paid for priority. From what I have come to understand if you like call or send them paid mail a million times, they will only process your application when they are ready to. Just like someone said here before. And it takes up-to 8 weeks now. But the most important thing is the visa should be approved. You can’t waste peoples time, withhold their passport and at the end story.

OP, please, DON'T ignore this advise. Just do this but go the priority way. Submit the same set of documents but tackle the mistake on your cover letter and I'm sure you would get the visa this time around.

I'm in trouble oooo as I doubt I will see a decision made anytime soon. I am so nervous that I will spend Christmas again this year without my family who are in the UK. I sent a paid email today to UKVI enquiring about my application and I got the following response:

Dear XXXXXXX,

Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre.

With regards to your enquiry about the status of your application, I can confirm that your application is being considered and is currently awaiting a decision.

Because 15 working days have passed I am escalating your case to the decision makers to let them know to get into contact with you regarding the decision

Thank you for your query from the information you have provided, we have escalated your case to the relevant department on 11-11-2021 and you should be contacted within 15 working days. Please wait until the 15 working days have passed before contacting the service again as we are unable to do anything further before this time.

We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the UK, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your documents.

When did you go for Biometrics? Christmas is still weeks away. Looks like the average is 8 weeks. Stay positive.
