this has nothing to do with spirituality,, herbs and roots have got some level of efficacy if you know how to use them but that doesn't in anyway validate the existence of spirits

But my question to him was why he would fortify himself against needles and sharp objects (which seemed to work) and still get lacerated by a sharp object during a road traffic accident. No answer.
The object (maybe glass) wasn't include when the protection was been applied.
Just like many of us die without telling any family member of huge funds we have in some savings or fixed account, it doesn't occur to some to inform family of the antidote to those natural African protection.
Imagine baba was unconscious. Anyway, something will eventually kill a man no matter how strong you are. Only God is immortal

fact.
1x2x3:

We have refused to learn. We left those raw practices that could have been enhanced to our benefits in the hands of those who are not educated.

We could have had developments that will defy western science. Till date, there are things science can't explain, I watched a Ted talk about a white tourist/investigator who went to places to study such spiritual practices, he still couldn't explain it but he was 100% convinced these things work, he also talked about its endless possibilities but then we Africans are sleeping.

Of course, she should not ignore a person's privacy, but she can ask for consent (not yet), right. Although She is not empowered to do such, under the law by herself, I am throwing the idea out, or formulating the scenario.
And if the patient agrees and signs the agreement, then she could make a video of it.

Its more appropriate that the Medical body prepare's consenting documents, for research, especially for future doctors, how else are we to make new discoveries and improve knowledge, furthermore, the face of the person must not be recorded or direct information about the person, only the details for study such as characteristics and conditions, else there will be a severe penalty and it should be something that the public and medical community talks about or negotiate through.

I've had similar experiences also. Baba saw me struggling to inject him and took pity on me (according to him) and asked me and the nurse to leave the room for some time. When he called us back in, injecting him including the subsequent procedure went smoothly.

But my question to him was why he would fortify himself against needles and sharp objects (which seemed to work) and still get lacerated by a sharp object during a road traffic accident. No answer.
to answer
When they are doing the ritual they say any body born of woman that uses metal on him will not penerate
So motor car is not born of woman.

Aerodynamics. That we are able to make chipsets and beautiful displays from sand shows human ingenuity. We use physics and mathematics to calculate the time it'll take a rover launched from Earth to land on Mars with pinpoint accuracy.
We use certain factors to determine the shelf life of medicine. When Radium was first discovered, it was used to make kitchenware and hands in wristwatches cos they glow in the dark, before we understood that it was dangerous to health.
What did we do, we discovered strontium aluminate, and that's what is used in watches, rosary beads, glow sticks today.
There's no juju there.

Oya can you prove that the man fortified his skin by spiritual means, or that one can make money from rituals. I need concrete proof.
Emancipate yourself from that foolish mindset.
It's what that is hampering growth and development in Africa.
I see it's like you don't get my point. I never said the story is true or a lie. My point is don't imply that something is a lie just because you don't believe or understand it. In essence don't say what you don't know. It may be a lie, but you don't know. It may also be true, but you have no knowledge about it.

So many testimonies, no actual evidence or usefulness. I stand to be corrected, but as I would always say, Nigerian juju is useful only for palour tricks
E.g. Prevent an injection meant to treat you from penetrating but do absolutely nothing against metal penetrating in an accident.
Lmao
I used to think like you until the day kidnappers shot a man 4 times right in front of me and the bullets didn't enter.
The story was on nairaland front page a few weeks ago. The kidnappers were in a Lexus Rx350 behind me while the man's g-wagon was in front of me. The kidnappers were blowing their car horn for me to move out of their way,but I stubbornly refused to move. They started flashing their headlamps at me, and that was when I moved to the side and they passed me, overtook the g-wagon and shot at the man. The overtaking, stopping and shooting happened in the twinkle of an eye and so I didn't even get the chance to drive off fast and so I witnessed everything. They shot the man 4 times but bullets didn't penetrate, then they threw him into their car and drove off. It was on nairaland that I later learned he was rescued by then police

You people will see such opportunity and won't record it. Then you'll come online to brag. You should have bought a new knife also and stabbed the person na. Or razor blade sef.

A boy of 16 was rushed to hospital but he bluntly told the doctor that he cant be injected until a ritual is performed.
He did before treatment began.

If we question about any of your "spiritual" belief now, you will have zero answers to give.

The problem is that you guys refuse to acknowledge the efficacy of what you have locally. Africa would have gone far if you developed what you have, while the whites are building lie detector, you have brooms that can detect a liar perfectly.
It will be irrational to acknowledge, hearsays and fictional stories.
How do you develop such?

Even the one who claim to be knowledgeable would refuse to answer
any question because it is "secret".
