Hello Prince

1. Online

2. Create a new GCKey for your study application... EE is an application for permanent residency, while Study permit is an application for Temporary residency, so they are different.

Peace
PrinceAdeAde:
Need advice

My spouse has an EE active profile and is applying for a student permit

1. Which mode of application is prevalent or recommend i.e papper based or online application

2. Is it advisable to use the same GCKey profile she created for EE in putting in her study permit application?

Thanks in anticipation

Hello Malone..

Put the correct employment date, be truthful with your application..

You didn't submit fake documents in your refused application neither did you deny you were refused visa in the past, so yours isn't a major one...

Be truthful with your application..

Peace
thank you very much for your input

Greetings all. I recently started my graduate studies application for fall 2022 at the University of Saskatchewan. I submitted and proceeded to pay via flywire. I was expecting to see the naira equivalence of 120 Canadian $ only to see another 30 CD added to it. My question is ; is that 30$ the flywire charges or what? Thanks in anticipation.

Hi oddyjoyce I am also applying to the same school for Fall 2022 can we talk privately. My email amarachi.Uzowuru.5@gmail.com

I want to send my passport to Lagos VAC for stamping, but I want to hear about the experiences of those that did the same in the past.

I did my biometrics in Lagos and won't be traveling till next fall, so there's no point in rushing.

Do I still make other payments, especially to the VFS, other than the courier service charge?

Also, what did the folks that got 2024 on their TRV do differently? Is it normal, or is it because they sent a new LOA to the IRCC? I want to get that too.

What’s the take of you all, Nairalanders?

Thanks!

Hello everyone... Is there anyone leaving for Canada this January? I got admitted to Centennial college and I'll be glad to connect with the person. I'll like to get information regarding accommodation/ travel plans so we can pair up. Also, anyone who has settled in Toronto area can give pointers to newcomers for relatively affordable residences. Ps: I'm female.

My passport was delivered on Monday and I received the first email from them on Friday. It is taking some days for them to respond so don't be worried like I was. Lol

Mine was delivered on Tuesday, counterfoil dropped on Friday and I received messages from IRCC today.

Reading your post(last paragraph),it got me laughing.lol. pease kindly update IRCC with updated LOA,them send your passport, they will stick your deserved counterfoil on your passport. No one does magic to determine how long the counterfoil the will stick on his or her passport. Again you know you have 30days for it to get to them.

As per Lagos, as you did your biometrics in Lagos, you won't be paying any transmission fee when ending your passport to Lagos. Just the courier fee is what you will pay.

Bro you worry too much, relax grin grin grin God has done it for us and it would be perfected.

I think most people are resuming late as such, they dont have much time to type landing gist. Plus people are not really traveling now, most people resuming jan 2022 will travel from mid dec 2021 because of the 30 days resumption rule.

As for people not getting their permit at POE, from what i have heard so far, its the inability of the officer to confirm 1 or 2 information from school or so. The number of people not getting permit at entry is so minute
ok.thanks.God that has started his very good work will complete it and give us our study permit in Jesus name.

Yes, naira card. You can use it to pay for USD online so far it's not above 200 USD or it's its equivalent.
The rate changes from time to time, but presently around 460

Hello Tofo,

There is a direct flight from Amsterdam to Vancouver using KLM. I think you should be able to get a train to Nainamo. You can also check online as well.

The route via KLM is Lagos-Amsterdam-Vancouver.

I hope this helps.

Hello All. Please my sister is set to resume at Vancouver Island University by January 4th for her MBA. We are looking at booking a flight for her for December 27th. Ethiopian Airlines seemed to be the cheapest but with the current crisis in the country, is it still a good choice? Also, what other cheal airline is advisable to book for her. She will be flying into Nanaimo, British Columbia. Thank you

Thanks very much for the response.

What VFS gave me after capturing for biometrics was a receipt-like document attached to my passport data page and a VAC consent form.

Am I to send them all, or which one in particular, please?

Hello all, so I sent my family's passports and required documents to VFS Abuja earlier in the week through DHL. VFS returned the package with an attached letter that we needed to pay transmission fee for one of my children who wasn't required to have biometrics because he was below the age so he neither had the biometrics slip nor bvl (note he's on study permit). I called VFS and they confirmed we needed to make payment for him and send the passports again with proof.
Please did any of us experience something like this?
Don't make the payment
Don't even bother re-sending the passports with any proof.

When you said feedback, is it feedback from your Biometrics or you Application in general. I guess your Biometrics is updated in your GCKey. Did you do upfront medicals or you got any medical request or no medicals done at all?

For feedback on your application, kindly be bombarding IRCC with daily emails and webform asking for application status cos the processing time is way overdue.
