Can Central Bank set up a Forex investment platform under themselve and assist people in earning and encourage Nigerians to save more,it could be 8-10 percent return per month instead of these unknown gun forex-criminals.

Cbn knows how risky forex trading is and will never set up such investment ...

The ones that are not risky eg treasury bills, bond are there for you to put your money but everyone feels that the profit on those are too small

Saving and Investing are the best and proven ways to treat money...

However, investing should never be in ignorance! Invest solely and strictly in what you are thoroughly knowledgeable about. Even then, invest solely what you can afford to lose...

When you see/hear stuff like " I am calling from bank ABC Plc head office and I need the number at the back of your ATM card" or " invest some amount and you'd get 20%, 30%, or 50% every month" and you still go ahead and cooperate blame yourself not your ancestors or spiritual forces. Antics of fraudsters is a common knowledge

Seeking 20% ROI per month from the financial markets is ridiculous.

It's better to endure the emotional rollercoaster of mastering the financial markets myself than lose my money to any trader or investor without a proven track record of success.

Mastering the financial markets takes time, discipline and skill and it's worth the effort. But very few people want to put in the effort.

Any investment that offers a high return in a very short period of time is most likely a scam.

The simplest way to invest in the financial markets is to invest in an ETF like the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF which gives an average return of 10% on investment annually. It's better than giving your hard-earned cash to wolves!

Leave track record alone ...

Any forex investment company is bound to fail just like all these ones we’ve heard of...

A lot of them with good track records have failed ... the market isn’t that predictable as many things can change the course of price movement abruptly...

People will never learn... both the so called forex traders and the investors ...

Forex trading isn’t meant for you to collect money from people as investment and use it to trade... it never ends well...

Just teach people how to trade, sell courses, trade with your own money and live peacefully ...

That’s the only way but greed won’t let either of them learn

The bold part... Precisely what I keep saying!!!

Nigerians want to make millions without putting in the time, patience, work, study, and passion... That's why we now have a society where crime thrives.

Its quite unfortunate that I'm seeing this face here with this kind of post. He is someone i know from childhood when he was still small. How he turned to this is what I don't know. His dad is a responsible person and mum too. He was not trained this way. He just got married of recent. I will send this post to his dad right away.

Unfortunately, our investment mindsets revolve round "hammer" mentality hence, we readily fall preys to the antics of these unscrupulous elements in the society.

True. You will make more when you work in conjunction with one pastor and some elders. The pastor will explain to his sheep that he too has invested. When you cash out you split the profit with the pastor. He can explain to the sheep that you also ran away with his money.

I know for a fact that the current mentality among Nigerians is that join Ponzi early and you'll be rich. So everyone peddles the Ponzi like it started last week this is the time to join. Many will still fall victim 10 years to come.

There are treasury bonds, bank individual bonds, treasury bills, stocks, government bonds the list is endless. The only difference is in the legal contemporary world either in Nigeria and abroad there is nothing like 10 percent monthly interest, no stock or business can appreciate by 10 percent every month

So this is why these Ponzi schemes are attractive to people cos they claim to offer something entirely different
