I arrived Abu Dhabi on the 18th and did a covid test on arrival. However, I haven't been able to login to the ALHOSN app as it says the UID number and Mobile number don't match.

Getting employment visa or work permit is the only problem now. Ask your friend to chill for now

The Emirates ID renewal fee for expats is AED 100 for every year of validity – usually two or three years

If you have money you can do 72 hours before boarding Kenya airways , when you get to Nairobi you two two rests ,bit if your covid test result is within 24 hours you will only do one test in Nairobi. Am telling you this from experience.

Also no need for ICA approval for those who have residence visa?

The only thing you need now is your pcr test result obtainedwithin 72 hours before your flight.
