Dont mind the texture. The meal is very light and best for dinner.

I have a seven months plus baby, Im not happy with her weight gain, does anyone know healthy fatty foods that I can give her? He takes, potato puree, fruits puree including avocado and also Frisogold. How often should I feed her? What is the quantities of food she should be taking at this age?

Can I also give unsweetened yoghurt at this age?

This is probably coming too late already but....healthy fatty foods to give..avocados, adding butter to meals (butter please not margarine) adding oils (palm oil etc) to meals..

Butter brands available in most supermarkets are: lurpark, President, kerry gold, oldenburger, anchor etc.
All these have salted and unsalted variations. Be sure to select the unsalted one for your baby.

As to your baby being underweight, have you checked with a pead to ensure you are addressing the root cause?

Try peanut butter. I mean buy, fry the groundnut without salt and blend smooth then add to the meals, that's my baby's secret weightgain addition.

So happy to find this thread. My baby is 7month, he enjoys his blended fruits than cereal.

Try reading through this thread to see nutritious purees you can start giving her.. When she's 6 months you can start introducing homemade food gradually

TASTY CORNMEAL PORRIDGE suitable from 6 months old
flavoured with juicy baby carrots

STEPS:
➡️ Scrap the outer skin off carrot
➡️ Blend the carrots very smooth.
Alternatively you can extract the juice using a juicer.
➡️ Dissolve your pap and blended carrot with little water or with the carrot juice
(let your dissolved pap be creamy and not watery)
➡️ Add boiling water to your dissolved pap while stirring constantly.

Cover with a lid for few minutes to set properly. Your flavoured pap is ready

➡️You can add baby milk to enhance the taste
Pease ignore the diced cucumbers . I forgot to snap the pap without cucumbers. Your babies need just the carrot flavoured pap
