I always advise people not to be so conscious about settling down, just live your life as if you are not looking for a wife while you try to mingle and make friends. The right person will come your way when you are less concerned about quitting bachelorhood. Importantly, be sensitive, the right person that will emerge will come so naturally and your instinct will prove it. I met my wife when I was so relaxed about the thought of getting married. This is what i told guys earlier, a good woman with a good heart and character is very very hard to find, most of the ladies we have now are hungry lazy gold diggers or either very selfish. Look beyond physical beauty, its a scam.
