Its PPR oooooohhhhh...
I have been waiting to post the above comment here since September 2020 when I started following this thread. I read many positive stories and the negative ones too but thank God I kept my faith alive and never got tired.

I'm sharing this today to further encourage someone, anyone, never give up.

After 2 rigorous application processes becos SP application be like project, 2 refusals, 1 Judicial review, 2 medicals, 3 admission deferrals and finally PPR!!! It's all to the glory of God oh, the God of NLP #NextLevelPrayers wey no dey fail. My God is good and kind to me indeed.

Thanks to all the gurus in the house who selflessly give of themselves to provide timely and useful information to everyone on this platform. @frankrobbn1, thanks for never getting tired of answering so many questions, God bless you BIG. @justmellow, thanks a million and thanks to everyone that suggested that I should go for a JR when my second application was refused based on the comments on the gcms notes, you guys solidified my confidence. Thanks to @Myspace for sharing her JR journey/testimony here, it encouraged me in my waiting period through the journey cos I read her post over and over again, lol.

I'll share my timeline in a separate post.

It has ended in praise!!! It will end in praise for everyone in the waiting by God's grace, amen.

Hello Guru.

Please can someone kindly help me explain what is going on here. After uploading and attaching all my sibling, I tried to help her used my GTBank ATM to make payment but it kept declining.

After a period of time, it went to this page(see image). Surprisingly, I can’t find the payment section again or the uploaded/attached document.

What should I do?

Thanks for your reply

It usually does like that when u try to pay for 2 or more times and dont succeed . Just log out and try again after about 1hr you will find the payment link again.

*PPR*alert/ Application timeline.

I am new to this platform and I've been a silent reader. Though I didn't know of this platform when I applied, since when I joined in December, I've learnt a lot from people here.
Thank you @makano for answering my question that day, I really appreciate. I got my ppr that same day so I didn't later do as suggested.
Here goes the timeline:
First time applicant

Submitted application in August 22, 2021
Did biometrics in August 26, updated the same day.
I didn't do an upfront medicals because I want to know how far my application has gone. I heard that if you are sent a medical request, then you are 80 percent to getting your visa.
So the wait began after biometrics.. I didn't think about it much because I don't want to have hbp grin though I continue praying. I didn't even bother checking my portal.
Got a medical request exactly 2 months later- October 22, 2021.
Did my medical exam Nov 9, updated to pass Nov 15.
Then the wait again.
I waited the remaining of November and the whole of December.
Got PPR on January 5th, 2022, Alhamdulillah.

Documents submitted:
- The 3 IMM forms
- LOA (unconditional) stating the partial scholarship I got.
- 4 months bank statement of my uncle and Mum each. None was up to 10 million naira, though there was active transactions on both.
- My SOP. I tried to be as honest as possible with it. It was just a page.
- Passport photograph
- international passport.

For people still waiting for ppr, it will come soon. Just don't stop praying. There is nothing prayer cannot do. It's not about the millions of naira you have in your account that does it, but God's grace.

Have a good evening y'all.

Hello Atigba

If you read to understand, you would realise I never mentioned that the moniker must pay for living expenses..

What I said was that the sponsor should show commitment by paying part or full school fees and the funds for living expenses should be transferred to the account of the applicant....

How will you pay for the living expenses of a country you haven't entered yet.. The sponsor should put in the funds into the applicant's account and clearly state it in his Letter of Sponsorhip....

Please let's be guided..

Peace
Atigba:

Is it compulsory you must pay your living expenses before you apply for visa.

Part payment of tuition should be enough.

Hello Mofolam

The bolded docs are no more compulsory, especially IELTS.. Many applicants still submit MBS cos of its flexibility compared to printed SOA, But its not compulsory as some applicants still submit the printed SOA cos not all banks provide the MBS service.. So if you submit a printed SOA its still very much allowed...

Pls boss, Incase you have any information on western university in Ontairo, pls kind shear.

mrprolifik:

CIMT is a private college in the Ontario province of Canada with 4 campuses. It is a designated learning institute so it's a good college but if you intend applying for PGWP after your studies , you won't qualify for it because CIMT doesn't offer programs that makes international students eligible for a post graduation work permit.

Well said @ Legacyedition.

I went through JR and honestly, I'm glad I did. Especially when it became obvious from comments on the 1st and 2nd refusal gcms notes that the refusals were based on unfounded bias which were majorly:
1. US visa refusal after child birth (note: all fees were paid and evidence provided as part of supporting documents). The refusal was simply as a result of the then US government strict immigration rules/ban especially against African countries at the time, of which Nigeria was one of them but the VO made it sound as though I did something wrong which lead to the US Visa renewal. I had to debunk this bias so a JR was needed.

2. My educational progression. My course is an MBA and my specialization is completely in line with my career path. So a refusal based on this reason made it very clear that the VO's decision was not based on documented evidences set before him/her.

The above amongst other comments like, I already have a child didn't just add up for me cos how does having a child stop a woman from furthering her education if she so wishes to do so.

The handwritings were very clear and my lawyer did a wonderful job of addressing every single bias in a very punchy manner, I was excited when I saw my case file and yes I learnt alot.

In the end, the judge stated that he/she does not understand why my application was refused based on the documents provided and scheduled a hearing. They conceded after seeing the decision of the judge and thank God it has ended in praise.

It was quite a wait of about 9 to 10 months (plus the impact of covid) but everything picked up pace from the time they conceded and I'm glad that all the bias have been cleared out and my record is clean. God kept me through that waiting period oh cos it wasn't easy.

I said all the above to say that, if you can afford a JR with an assurance that the submitted application was well put together and based on your lawyer's advise, then go for it. There's little or no trust for us, hence, the low approval rate. This makes it important for us to push back when a decision is clearly bias and unsatisfactory.

I will still share my timeline soon. Na busy busy dey delay am.

It will end in praise for everyone awaiting PPR...

How can one hire a judicial review when you dont reside in Canada.

Hi dfad,

Let me contribute my quota;
1. Your SOP is not organized.
2. You have too much stories in the intro to bore your Officer.
3. You need to be detailed in your lump sum explanations with reference to dates.
4. No title for your writing as your SOP is not Organized.

You need to do more work on it...
Introduction
Study Plan
Reason for choosing Canada
Reason for choosing the school
Work History
Personal Asset/Proof of finance
Home ties
Travel History
Long term and Short term Goal, then Conclusion.

Good evening all.

Please am at a cross road and will need people that had similar experience to advice me.

I got admission to Fanshawe College and was given 30days to pay admission deposit or lose my seat.

A started this online Form A and my bank has not be able to complete the process ( story for another day).

The 30 says expired yesterday and I got a mail that the admission has been cancelled.

I sent a mil to the school explaining my plight and got a response that " as at now there is still a spot for me to make payment but can close anytime" no time limit was given and again flywire generated payment advice also expired.

I don't know if I should still go on with the payment with the expired flywire details as this has been inputed into the system and approved by CBN just for my bank to disburse and if the school will still offer me the spot or I should cancel the whole process.

I need urgent advice please

Good afternoon! You know, I have recently become very disappointed in the education system. I studied my way through college, but I never found a job, even though I studied well. College gives a lot of unnecessary and irrelevant knowledge that now can only show your level of erudition, but not useful. So I came across a great website for developing roadmaps online. Took the course and got to work. Guess what? I have already started making good money. College is not the key to success.
