MaxInDHouse:i think the highlighted should be what God use to judge. Cause to be sincere if you're not Rooted in your Faith all this athiests will push you to their side. Beside I often ask isn't a good person better than a religious person even though the good person might not believe in a God. Shouldn't it be wrong to condemn such good soul to hell? Remember Jesus in one of his parables talk about the acts that can make you see God or show you are holy. So if a good person does 90% of that act apart from beliveing there is a God part ...he will go to hell? By the way, weather with An archangel voice or not as long as the person sounding the call is still Christ. I guess you're a Jehovah withness? |

How can a god like allah who makes committing of sins to be a condition for serving him, also be the same as the God of Judeo-Christianity which punishes sin? AntiChristian: |

Why would you call on people who worship a different god to resolve your misunderstanding of a Christian scripture? Do you realize that the muslims you are calling have been told by their god that it is their duty to live a sinful life? Ask AntiChristian wether or not I'm lying ifiokjohn: |

GreatAxeMan:The verse you quoted was misinterpreted Sir! To illustrate, imagine a supernatural event occurred and you asked about five different eyewitnesses to relate the experience for you. This is how each will relate it: Lord Krishna saved the day ~ Hindu Allah rescued those involved ~ Muslim Ọ̀ṣun helped them out ~ Ọ̀ṣun worshiper Ayélála stepped in ~ Ìkálẹ̀/Ìlájé Jesus saved them ~ Churchgoer And it will continue due to what each person believes. The translators of the Bible you're using believe in the TRINITY so they interpreted that text as "WORSHIP" but in other versions it simply means "OBEISANCE" not worship! So, quickly leaving the memorial tomb, with fear and great joy, they ran to report to his disciples. And look! Jesus met them and said: “Good day!” They approached and took hold of his feet and did obeisance to him. Matthew 28:8-9 The same thing has happened to servants of God in the past for example And she came in and fell at his feet and bowed down to the ground before him, after which she picked up her son and went out. 2Kings 4:37 Why didn't the translators of the Bible you're using say the woman WORSHIPED Elisha? Well it's because they feel Elisha shouldn't be worshiped, whereas it's exactly the same thing Jesus' disciples did to him. So it's the custom of the people in the middle east to bow down to someone they revere yet it doesn't mean WORSHIP to them! |

ifiokjohn: No matter how good, kind or nice a person is as long as he failed to accept Jesus as saviour he will perish! A certain ruler asked him, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good —except God alone. You know the commandments: ’You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.’ " "All these I have kept since I was a boy," he said. When Jesus heard this, he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. THEN COME, FOLLOW ME." When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was very wealth. Jesus looked at him and said, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! Luke 18:18-24 Please isn't this man a good person? Why must he join Jesus' group before he could be saved? Well it's because there's no way anyone can meet up with God's will if he is not a Christian! So if you want to know what God's will means i'm still very much with you. Yes! I am now one of Jehovah's Witnesses! |

GreatAxeMan: I told you: MaxInDHouse: Those people were Babylonians and they revere the newly born baby they saw a Star leading them to him as the King of the Jews! It is the translators that rendered the text "WORSHIP" it simply means OBEISANCE! And when they went into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and falling down, they did OBEISANCE to him. They also opened their treasures and presented him with gifts—gold and frankincense and myrrh! Matthew 2:11 What they had in mind from where they're coming was that the child will come from a royal family, that's why they first branched the palace of King Herod the great, their gifts would have made Herod feel highly privileged to have been the father of such a great child but he was disappointed because no baby was born in his palace during that period! |

GreatAxeMan: All these are written words that you will continue to argue about because you don't know the PRACTICAL APPLICATION of it. So instead of all these questions stemming from a trinitarian dogma why not think about the WILL OF GOD? Two persons are being referred to in those verses: Paul is talking about the Almighty God and His Son whom He has given the authority to judge both the living and the dead. Psalms 110:1-3 |

Re: Help!! I'm Confused. by MaxInDHouse(m): 12:28pm On Feb 03, 2022 |
GreatAxeMan: Trinitarians and their myopic thinking! I'll also ask you a question: Who created the Skyscrapers, Helicopters, Aeroplanes, Speed train, Flying boats, Electricity, Telecommunication, Computers and many other things that came along with technology? Well if you need to know everything is God's WORK! He created and impact knowledge in those that created all this things. So Jesus who was God's firstborn son (created) was given the wisdom to create all other things {Colossians 1:15-16} and before he came as a human he inspired Solomon to write about him: Jehovah produced me as the beginning of his way, The earliest of his achievements of long ago. From ancient times I was installed, From the start, from times earlier than the earth. When there were no deep waters, I was brought forth, When there were no springs overflowing with water. Before the mountains were set in place, Before the hills, I was brought forth, When he had not yet made the earth and its fields Or the first clods of earth’s soil. When he prepared the heavens, I was there; When he marked out the horizon on the surface of the waters, When he established the clouds above, When he founded the fountains of the deep, When he set a decree for the sea That its waters should not pass beyond his order, When he established the foundations of the earth, Then I was beside him as a master worker. I was the one he was especially fond of day by day; I rejoiced before him all the time; I rejoiced over his habitable earth, And I was especially fond of the sons of men. Proverbs 8:22-31 Know today that Jesus (God's first work) was created and given the wisdom to make all other things. That's why the Grand creator says He made everything just as everything you can see now is to the glory of our Creator whereas humans were responsible for those things that came along with technology, yet to God be the glory and honour because He gave all of us (including Jesus) life! John 8:28 |

Re: Help!! I'm Confused. by MaxInDHouse(m): 1:07pm On Feb 03, 2022 |
GreatAxeMan: And what will that do for you? Guy it's written in your Bible just as it's there in all others but the PRACTICAL APPLICATION is what you can't grasp, that's why billions are reading that book yet the fruit of God's Holy Spirit is not seen in the human society. Jesus is the one God gave the wisdom to make all other things whether those in heaven or on the earth. Colossians 1:16 |
Re: Help!! I'm Confused. by GreatAxeMan: 1:33pm On Feb 03, 2022 |
Thank you!!! Jesus created the heaven and earth! That's all I wanted to hear! Now answer this question: The author of Hebrews 1: 10 to 13 is actually quoting another scripture. That scripture is Psalm 102. Why is the author of Hebrews 1: 10 to 13 taking the attributes applied to God in Psalm 102 and applying them to Jesus in Hebrews 1: 10 to 13? MaxInDHouse: |
Re: Help!! I'm Confused. by MaxInDHouse(m): 1:44pm On Feb 03, 2022 |
GreatAxeMan: Because Jesus is the one and only creature that's a perfect replica of the Almighty God {John 1:18} our first human parents were created in the image of God {Genesis 1:26} but they didn't remain in it. Jesus maintained that image for uncountable years that he has been with God! John 8:29 So if anyone wants to know God's mindset all you need is to study Jesus' thoughts, words and actions {1Corinthians 2:16} that's why God made him the one to rule (train) mankind for a millennium in order for whoever wish to also become a perfect child of God like Jesus! |
Re: Help!! I'm Confused. by GreatAxeMan: 1:50pm On Feb 03, 2022 |
If Jesus is a "creature", as you calle him, how could he create the heavens and the earth? Set aside the ingrained ignorance of Charles Taze Russell and think very hard about this. How can someone or something which is a part of creation, be the author of creation? Think carefully because the next scripture I will quote will destroy everything the Jehovah's Witnesses stand for. MaxInDHouse: |
Re: Help!! I'm Confused. by MaxInDHouse(m): 2:03pm On Feb 03, 2022 |
GreatAxeMan: The point you're missing here is the ability of the ALMIGHTY God who can make anyone whatever He pleases to make them. He made Moses God so if someone says Moses did everything in Egypt and released the children of Israel of course a Bible student will say "NO Moses was sent to do all that" Whatever Jesus did from the beginning till now was under the direction of the one who gave him the power to do it and he himself always acknowledge the one who impacted wisdom to do all these. So it's the Bible that said Jesus is not equal with the one and only true God not anyone! |
Re: Help!! I'm Confused. by GreatAxeMan: 2:06pm On Feb 03, 2022 |
When did God make Moses God? I asked a simple question and you deflected it with a lie. How can someone or something that is the result of creation, be the author of creation? It's a very simple question. No need to commit blasphemy while answering. I'm sure even Charles Taze Russell wouldn't stoop this low MaxInDHouse: |
Re: Help!! I'm Confused. by MaxInDHouse(m): 2:27pm On Feb 03, 2022 |
GreatAxeMan: The highlighted God made Moses God {Exodus 7:1 God called other creatures "God" {Psalms 82:6} Jesus declared that the true God differs from him {John 17:3; 14:28} so if the Bible now says Jesus created the heavens and the earth common sense should tell us that he was acting on the instructions of the one who sent him: Jesus then said: “After you have lifted up the Son of man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing of my own initiative; but just as the Father taught me, I speak these things" John 8:28 So Jesus never did anything of his own initiative, go and tell your church fathers in your trinitarian dogma! |
Re: Help!! I'm Confused. by GreatAxeMan: 3:23pm On Feb 03, 2022 |
Anyone who can read this: Exodus 7:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. And conclude that God made Moses an actual god is, no offense, rather dull. All it means is that God gave Moses authority over Pharaoh. If Moses actually became a god, what attributes of divinity did he possess? Was he eternal, immortal or almighty? If Moses was a god created by God, why wouldn't it have been okay for the Israelites to worship him instead of a golden calf? With regards to Psalm 82:6, I'm amazed that a supposed Jehovah's witness is repeating a heresy/blasphemy created by the word of faith charismatics! Let me set you straight on this: John 10 35-36 makes it clear that the "Ye are gods" reference in Psalm 82:6 is distinct from the concept of the Son of God which only applies to Jesus and it doesn't mean that those to whom the scripture was given are LITERALLY divine: John 10 35-36 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside, what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son' ? If Psalm 82:6 means literal gods as you claimed, and not just sons and daughters of God as it means in John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. If Psalm 82:6 meant literal gods, and not children of God, then it would make nonsense of Ephesians 4:11 to 12 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ If those who received the scripture are actual gods in Psalm 82:6 as you have implied, then they would be divine and need NO PERFECTION! BUT JESUS WAS PERFECT WASN'T HE? DO YOU BELIEVE JESUS WAS THE MESSIAH? MaxInDHouse: |
Re: Help!! I'm Confused. by MaxInDHouse(m): 3:32pm On Feb 03, 2022 |
GreatAxeMan: Well God promised to send another prophet that will also be a God like Moses! Deuteronomy 18:18-19 And Apostle Peter confirmed that Jesus is that prophet that came in the manner of Moses! Act 3:22 So stop deceiving yourself. It's God that made Jesus a God just as He made Moses a God NO ADDITION NO SUBTRACTION! Revelations 22:18-19 |

Instead of arguing blindly in support of the TRINITY dogma that's not yielding positivity in the midst of it's adherents {James 2:18} why not ask for the will of God? GreatAxeMan keep asking questions upon questions just to find support for the traditional trinity dogma handed over to him. Whereas look! The will of God is missing in his life! He's still blabbing here and there over politics which has been condemned by the true God! |

In GOD - in the Person of the Lord JESUS, the CHRIST only - there is salvation from damnation for sin - "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” - Acts 4:12 +++ Before Abraham Was, I AM 48 Then the Jews answered and said to Him, “Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?” 49 Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. 50 And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges. 51 Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.” 52 Then the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.’ 53 Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. Who do You make Yourself out to be?” 54 Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. 55 Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” 58Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” +++ "And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you." - Exodus 3:14 |
