5. You make mention of bride price as if there's anything men gain solely through marriage but rather pains and agony. Men diminish themselves in marriage because they want wives and children to be happy. Despite that, all they get most times is henpecking and inveighing from spouses and sometimes their children. Offsprings are of benefits to mothers and fathers. Even children still prefer their mums to their dads.

6. Men: Short life expectancy. Highest number of homeless people. Highest number of prisoners. Highest number of school dropouts. Longer jail term. Highest number of work casualties. So, what are men enjoying actually?

7. Do you know how many men from yester years has losed their lives as a result of war? If women were truly hated, they would have gone alongside with men to wage war and bring prisoners. But the love men has for women and children, women aren't conscripted, after all, they are the weaker sex.

Violence is an evolved nature in men, but yet it is through this violence men has used in turning the world around. Violence is a trait that enabled men to protect their territories, resources, wives and children. It was a survival strategy against enemy tribes and wild animals. However, we are no longer in the wild and violence has decrease greatly.

I've been married for over a decade and what I learnt is that a man is a lot like a child, he's hard work but if you have a good one then you can extract what you need, tolerate what you can, and put your foot down when you can't tolerate certain things. Don't fight him because you'll lose but instead manipulate and be strategic and prioritize your peace of mind. Decide from the onset what you need from a man and make that your none negotiable, because he can't be everything you need.
