How old pregnancy? Abi she don remove am unawares to you guys?

Me I love happy endings. It is not the end of the world. Yes, getting pregnant that early is wrong but it has happened. Hope she will learn from it.

You're wrong, some children are destined to be stubborn no matter the amount of discipline instilled in them. That's why most times you get to see children of clerics being the most wayward. It doesn't solely depend on the amount of beatings and floggings.

Well, she has to decide what she wants to do next. Try to make sure the owner of the pregnancy is identified and in the picture so he can contribute his share to her and the process. No need letting him off the hook anytime soon.

Should your sister decide to keep the baby, visit.the courts to learn the process for filing for child support and make this available to her from day one. Try to educate her so she realize that while she has to play her part in contributing to the care of the child, the law also recognizes that the man also has his share of the responsibilities to be help accountable for.

And while you are at it. Time to educate her on use of regular contraception so she does not fall victim again. We can wish all we want but the fact is even we adults sometimes make mistakes, how much more our kids? It is not too late to learn that girl on use of birth control so she does not fall into the same pit anytime soon after this.

@Op Educate your sister regardless, there are many things she doesn't know about life yet and you and your parents have to step up(it's not too late, she's still 17). Training a girl child is hard, it's even the hardest job in parenting because you mustn't be too permissive or strict while training and indoctrinating them, trying to mold them into that fine, strong woman you want her to be.

Las Las na you folks go bear the brunt of it all.

If you guys don't handle it well, you will lose her. I don't mean death. This is a turning point in her life. Your family's actions now will determine if she will have a good turn or go worse.

Tell your parents to handle it with care. Yelling won't help. This is not the time to be shouting at her. If you guys want her to have the baby, no problem but you guys need to keep reassuring her that pregnancy is not the end of life. Your mum will take care of the baby and she can continue her academics.

This is the time she needs all of you most. Remember, our society has already rejected her. Once again, yelling and rejecting her will complicate the issue. I am talking from experience.
