16000 euros is a bit high though

I think you should check out some of the grand ecole schools though. I just got admitted to one with 5500 euros per year and paying by installment is allowed.

Well mine was a masters degree

For those interested the second cycle of application is now open

Kindly specify the name of the school please

I decided to open a thread for France. There is hardly any information for studying in France for Nigerians even when it's one of the cheapest, easiest and most straight forward process among developed countries. If you have any questions or concerns, drop them I will be answering all your questions. I will do my best to include the most necessary information as the thread goes on.

First things first, the application window to apply for admission to French Universities started 1st of October and will be closing 31st of December.

Update: Application on the portal now closes 15th December.

Can I still apply for masters without campusFrance and is the school fee the same as the schools in campusFrance ?

Campus France is an organization set up by the French government to aid students through their France study application. They are available in over 150 countries across the world. Here in Nigeria, there are two Campus France offices, in Abuja and Lagos. Very pertinent to note is that you MUST pass through Campus France for any study application to France. They take care of all processes from admission down to obtaining your visa.
website: https://www.nigeria.campusfrance.org/

Etudes en France: This is an online portal connected to Campus France where you create an account and have your personal dashboard for all online processes. Campus France is the physical organization; Etudes-en-France is their online platform.
website: https://pastel.diplomatie.gouv.fr/etudesenfrance/dyn/public/authentification/login.html?codeLangue=EN

The entrance for 2022 began in October and closes 31st December, 2021. Within this period, you make your application to the universities through the portal. A few years back, you could apply directly to schools, now, only a handful of schools permit you to apply directly to their school portal. Applications on school portals are solely reserved for French Nationals and European students.

A great usefulness of Campus France is that they afford you the chance to apply to up to 7 universities with just one application. This increases your chance of being admitted to at least one. They however charge an administration fee of N50,000.

If you managed to get an admission directly from a school, you will have to manually connect your admission to Campus France and pay the same administration fee.

Check YouTube. Nobody here will answer you even if they know. They choose to hoard info.

It's one year, but upon graduation you can apply for 1 year job Seeker visa.

If you secure an eligible professional job offer within the 1 year you will obtain 4 years residence permit and after 4 years of professional work in France you will obtain Permanent residence.

Please which link did you use to do the actual application, is the Campusfrance portal or the Etude en France..

The first link is to help you search for the schools and courses you would like to study with other information on how to go about your application.

The second link is where you carry out your application if the university is connected to campus France

Guys pls i need an answer on this i am going for studies,My main school is in germany but i will be starting as an option in france to finish in germany as my school partners with the one in france...All my documents for visa application came from France except for my tuition fees issued to me from my main school in germany with it's name there but was written in partnership with the one in france....Now on the school fees receipt my program end date written there is for the one in germany not the one in france because i am to spend only 1yr in france and then move to complete in germany the remaining 6 months...so now on my cover letter for visa Am i to indicate that i will spend one year in france and then move to germany to complete on the end date written on my tuition fees receipts or is it going to complicate things for me as someone is saying that the embassy will feel that i want to use france and go into germany.....I NEED help on this issue pls...it's urgent is it necessary to include on my cover letter that my school in france has a partnership with the one in germany ...What advice should i take on this matter.
Re: Study In France - Process And Enquiries Thread by Nancyama(f): 1:17pm On Feb 21, 2022
Do as your advisor has said. The embassy will definitely think you want to use France to get into Germany and it'll mess up your visa application. Your best option is to fill France as your host country and leave Germany out of it.
