Just found it now, and it is actually just an 8 point list I composed based on my over 2 decade experience on NSE. Here it is:

1. No stock is worth falling in love with for any reason whatsoever on earth as long as it is not your father's company.

2. Long term investment philosophy on NSE is pure suicide mission.

3. Take any momentary profit opportunity that falls on any stock in your portfolio regardless of how tiny the percentage is as long as it bellies your stockbroker's commission. Compared with staying on a stock for months and years hunting dividends, this practice actually gives you far more profit within a shorter time as it is a path of compound interest.

4. There is no particular or general winning formula on NSE. There might be such on NASDAQ, New York, London and others bourses, but not on NSE at least for now. Each individual devices his own from experience.

5. FA is a very good compass, but as far as NSE is concerned, never rely excessively on it except foreing investors are fully present on NSE.

6. Play the game as you see it being played rather than as you think it should be ideally played. While a commitment to ideals is commendable, unfortunately reality is not dictated by ideals, else the world wouldn't have been this terrible.

7. Always be on the lookout for the next news of takeover of an ailing company on NSE or indication of interest in it by a foreign investor, buy the stock, but never let the euphoria of the appreciation that follows make you buy a mattress for it. a current example being NIGERINS

8. Most importantly, approach investment on NSE exactly as Nigerian politicians approach politics. Have no permanent friends or enemies among the quoted companies. Only your permanent interest should matter to you which is to make profit hence if you are in a stock which is no longer sure of guaranteeing that interest of yours, defect to another one where that interest is likely to be most easily realizable within the shortest possible time going forward.

Might be less. I am forecasting 50k final year, to make the total dividend for 2021 80k

Reasons Tony gave for reduction in dividend is still there. CBN wants to stop USD sales to banks and Tony is interested in amassing USD assets and paying down USD liabilities with the retain profits.

Zenith just confirmed my fears that it is only a matter of weeks now for the royal tumble.

Two things happened this February 2022 which could decide the fate of the USD.

First, Biden will use confiscated Afghanistan reserve for aid relief to the people of Afghanistan and also using the fund to pay 9/11 victims.

Secondly, sanctions on Russian central bank preventing them from using dollar for transactions. And blocking some of their reserves.

What could go wrong?

Will other sovereigns think that their funds can be seized and they liquidate as fast as possible once there is any disagreement with US? Once this thought enters their heads, dollar will have a catastrophic fall because the holders of the US debt will have no other option than to sell.

Reviewing my target for Brent from $220 to $300. Don't expect a straight line rise.

Gold needs to rise till it gets to $4,500.

NSE ASI 100K target still remains.

I have liked your post but let me play devils advocate. What Asset is big enough to accommodate such large scale liquidation of US debt considering that the sale actually will be an exchange of Assets.

The point above had always been the issue with US Debt held by other sovereign / nationals

Have you ever asked yourself why the government keeps borrowing despite rising oil prices?

Nigeria is a net importer of refined crude as of today and its not gonna change in 2022 at least.

Hence, Nigeria will continuously run a deficit balance as oil prices continue to rise because it must increase its subsidy of PMS and that will continue to erode whatever gains it makes by exporting crude.

Added to this, Nigeria's Crude production volume keeps dropping despite increased allocation (check OPEC). It will even profit Nigeria more at this point, for crude prices to drop, else riots will break out soon when government is unable to subsidize any further.

Dont mind all that the current government is saying about increase in oil price and fuel subsidy.
Recall that the benchmark for crude under the budget is $70. What happens to the Excess crude account? What about the billion spent on revitalising our refineries? And who do they want to convince that Nigeria consumes over 93million litres of fuel daily?
The Government has put so much into Dangote refinery, its time we begin to ask why the refinery is yet to start refining.
They are not telling us all the truth

This is what I was just telling my wife. The way America is going about dollars restrictions/ control will back fire on thr currency when this dust settles. Other big economies/thr central banks will not feel safe to keep thr wealth in dollars, American banks and soil. Some will no longer want dollars to control the international trades/space mostly nations like China, India etc..The truth is trust will be lost in many angles and things will never go back the same

To respond to your question, I stopped asking myself that question. The reason I stopped is because like Nigeria, the rest of the world continue to borrow at alarming rates.

Now, can you please answer my question? Is the oil about to dry up or has your thesis changed from that? If thesis changed, can you please let me in on the secret sauce? Like you, I am trying to protect the investments I have in NSE. If you know something, please share

They have never been known to tell the truth and I will not expect that from them today.

But the fact that all you mentioned is not affecting the delivery of PMS to households is worrisome.

Excess Crude account is empty.
Has the revitalized refineries produced 1 drop of PMS?

Anyways, I am only concerned about the market but there are darkclouds and a storm is brewing.
