it started as some 3 yoruba guys possibly cultists , went on a compound in which the landlord was seating outside. the manner they used to rush in to the compound to possibly attack a tenant whom possibly is a rival attracted the attention of the landlord who is an ibeno man. king of boys. he tried to question their actions and stop them but in return got slapped and attacked by the 3 boys and the nearby ibeno people noticed whats happening as its happening in front of the compound. thats where the problem started. the 3 yoruba guys knowing they couldn't withstand the over 10 nearby witnesses who supported the landlord. shouted for support but did not shout as a cultist anymore but shouted their voice to attract the yoruba nearby's and those who heard came. and thats where the problem started.

the yoruba people and the ibeno people started throwing stones, planks and bottles on each other. a group this side and the other that side.,
from just small groups to higher groups.. the yoruba groups couldn't stand the ibeno groups which became larger and they started running for safety.

the provocation lead to destruction of house and properties on both sides but the Yoruba takes the larger lost.
