No... I bought the phone as second hand phone, though it is seeing the sim cards but mtn cannot be used to dial, but it shows data signal. While airtel can dial but doesn't show data signal.

Both.... just unscrew the phone and check for the long black cable at the side... check if it's unclipped then clip it back.... Be careful not to cut the cable or power flex.

Essential PH-1 screen price and availability

Hello engineers. Im using redmi 8.

For about a month now, every time im in a video call/meeting, after about 30 mins, i will lose connection completely. No signal whatsoever. I will turn off and on the phone but the problem will persist. I use airtel. Whenever i contact airtel, they will say that they have fixed the lines (lines because i use two airtel sims and both usually disappear at the same time). Other networks such as mtn and glo dont have network connections in my area.

The same thing keeps repeating itself every time, even till this evening. Im beginning to suspect that maybe it's my phone. It doesnt happen when im browsing normally except the normal network problems but every time im in a video class like telegram or googlemeet, even zoom, network will vanish suddenly and will not come up except i switch off and on the phone several times.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Absolutely yes .... you just mention the panel was replace which means you no longer have the stuff on the previous on the phone anymore as it’s been removed..

Lol you Sabi pas engineer abi? You want to change outer glass of Samsung? Premium tears await you.

The glass you change it to will never ever forever be as strong as the original. It will have the same quality as screen guards. That's if it doesn't shatter in like 2 weeks of changing it.


Better change the entire screen. Don't be Pennywise, pound foolish.

If yes then it could be your area

Does this problem persist outside your area (I mean zone ) if yes then it could be your phone.

If no, then it's most likely your phone(could be network cable issue) or simply antenna issue..

Try other sims outside your area

Do you needs a competent and reliable phone technician, the one who is honest and trust worthy, not only that, a phone technician who is good at what he does. Don't go too far Thephonetechnician has got you covered.

4. The problem in that last advice is that i hardly go out, so it's not easy for me to check other networks outside my home. And like i said, this particular problem mostly occur during my video meetings on googlemeet and telegram, so if i go out, it means that i will have to do the meetings outside my area which may be difficult because of timing. But i will look into it if this problem is not solved with all the available solutions.
