It appears your cure is in the vaccine. Can't wait for the day there's a proper vaccine for this. Do you feel the supplements make a difference? Especially the zinc. Will you continue taking them indefinitely? I don't know why zinc is one of the management medicines, it's like it has unpleasant effects. Scaled back to vitamin C only.

Will you be taking the jabs more frequently if they become standard like the flu ones? Any improvement on the clotting symptoms? Can you now do slightly more strenuous exercise?

Keep us updated, please. If you can scale this after a year, there's hope for other long haulers.

I still have a long way to full recovery. The vaccines have help immeasurably and so with the supplement. I keep wondering had I taken these (Vit C1000, Vit D3, Zinc 50mg) during the first wave if I would ended up with a long covid. But in some ways, it helps. 2 days ago, I went up the stair case to the third floor of a federal building and I became short of breath when I got there. While not as bad as it was last year or early part of this year, it was enough to alert me that I am not there yet.

With regards to continual supplementation, I have come to understand as we grow older in life, we seem to lack these basic vitamins and minerals in our system, thereby leading to our weakening immune system and the different health challenges we develop in life such as diabetes, ulcers, headaches, cardiovascular issues etc. So I lose nothing with continuing to supplement myself regularly. The major challenge will be funds.

I live in Nigeria, there is no frequent jabs for flus here like you have in the states. Besides, I had covid twice, later 2 doses of moderna vaccines, my immunity is likely through the roof. In terms of strenuous activities, I do not feel just there yet. So I avoid those activities for now.

A long video, but I will give it a watch.

Thanks for this.

PS: Any other resources on dealing with extended COVID symptoms like anosmia and changes in odor and taste perception?

Anosmia is lack of Zn. You need Zn. I still take Zn 50mg daily with vit c 1000

Currently take 300- 500mg vitamin C daily. Even took Zn for a week recently, but dropped it since it seemed to make things worse.

@1000mg how is it affecting your kidneys?

Long COVID is annoying.

I take and break. 1000mg/day. Long covid is really annoying. Watch the video below from Dr. Berg, it's been helpful to me.

I got my first jab last week Friday. I registered for it a day before. The center, somewhere in Ebute Meta, had a lil crowd, so we picked numbers at the entrance to avoid rowdiness. I got number 25. When the number got to 85 or so, they stopped giving.

It was Moderna Vaccine. My second dose will be due on 11th October. Like OP, I was asked to wait for 10 minutes after vaccination. I didn't wait though cause I was thinking I could still make office. I eventually didn't go. Not because of any effect from the vaccine, I just chose to stay back, I called my boss.

There was nothing on the first day but the hand became heavy and painful on the second day. I couldn't move it as I wanted. Then, I felt lazy or tired all through the day. I took Pcm to relieve the pain as advised by the nurse and that was it! From the 3rd day I've been back to my normal healthy self.
please what's the meaning of pcm? I am still feeling pain and headache 3 days after the first covid vaccine shot. It's really urgent because I need to get back in my feet.

Awww so sorry. Pcm means paracetamol. You should not be down for 3 days. But if it goes beyond the 3rd day, I think you should go back and make some complain. You know our body components are not the same, you could have allergies that even you aren't aware of. Pele, you'll be fine.

I took it because I needed the card to work offshore. It's a requirement. I begged for a way to get the card without the vaccine, but I was refused. I took it last Friday and I'm still down up until today. Very scary symptoms

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I took it on Friday morning, and up until now being Tuesday, it has been hell for me. Serious body aches, internal cold, and headache. If I take pain relief, it would go down for some few hours and come back. I think I need to go back there and make complain. They gave me the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. Can they be able to do anything to help with my symptoms? Thanks for taking out time to respond.

I took the Moderna vaccine but the best is that you go back there. Sorry.
