I need some clarification please. Below is my timeline:

Submitted Application on 5th of April
Biometric on 20th of April. Biometric got updated same day on my account.

I haven’t received any further updates till date. I didn’t do upfront medicals. I’m waiting for the request.

I applied through old portal(Gckey) and processing time is showing 12 weeks on the website. I’m to resume this fall.

Based on my timeline, Do I need to start sending emails now or still wait?

I await your inputs.

Thanks

We applied on same day...it will end in praise

Hello guys, I have heard about this platform but I have never registered not until lately. I was denied a student visa with issues pertaining to personal assets and financial status. Please I need guidance on how to address this as I want to start applying again.
Secondly I have an HND in engineering but I want to apply for a Pgd in project management. Is the program a good fit?
Thirdly is there anyone that can assist in reviewing my LOE?

Does the work permit that comes with the study visa the same with the co-op for someone that his program has a 4months co-op program. Or you have to apply for the co-op permit separately.

No it is not the same and you are not applying for it separately

The Work Permit (authorization to work) stated on your Study Permit to work as an international student is different from Co-op Work Permit

Abeg any March Applicant here make e no be like sey na only me remain for d March. And for others that have been waiting since before march, Respect e no easy. May God come through for all of us.

I was wandering if IRCC are still legally within their rights to delay application this long, cuz i know some people who applied since January and are still waiting. I will say thats pure evil to be honest. There are underlying financial cost, emotional cost and mental health issues that people are experiencing. For example i missed out on my admission in ireland and turned down a job offer up north in hopes that ppr is incoming.

To the Lawyers in here, there must be something we can do to help our situation, maybe a petition or online awareness campaign or something, cuz me am not buying the "high volume applications and covid excuses" for the delay, each Applicant paid application fee, let them use from that money to temporarily increase their workforce and processing capacity to offset the backlogs. They are being biased to underdeveloped countries

Early rejection is better than rejection after 5 months of wait
lol, Omoh I don wait sotey I don dey lose weight. God will eventually do it for us

Did anyone get this type of feedback and eventually got their Form A transaction processed?

My application has moved to the Supervisor phase but saw that the reviewer made the comment in the attached email. This is being processed with Globus Bank.

I need help with addressing this urgently.

No they are not the same.
With the work permit that comes with study permit , you are only allowed to work 20hrs per week when school is in session or unlimited hours during holidays. But with the co op permit you can work unlimited hours if that job is part of your study program.
You will be issued a co op work permit together with your study permit if when you applied for your study Visa you submitted a letter of acceptance showing that your program has a compulsory work placement as part of the curriculum to complete that program. But if you applied for a program that has an optional work placement and during the time of applying for the program you didnt select the option with a coop then you will be issued a study permit without co-op permit. If you decided later into the program that you still want to take part in the coop job placement while you are already in Canada, you can still apply for it separately and you would be issued as far as the program has an option for co-op.
The advantage of a coop program is that apart from gaining practical experience in your program of study, you can work unlimited hours with your coop permit at your place of job placement and also work extra 20hrs per week at another job with the work permit included with your study permit .

You can't have them be different because 1. you have a uci already you're in their system all it takes is a name search 2. in your forms you will be asked if you have applied and or been rejected before, in my opinion hiding this from them will be a big red flag in your new application, just repackage yourself well and address your refusal reasons properly.

Hello everyone, it’s my first time on here so I hope I am on the right trend.
I got admission for this fall 2022 and I have to pay the sum of 10,000 Canadian dollars as part of my school fees payment, but the thing is that I don’t know how to go about the payment, I have the funds but it’s the method of payment that is the problem. I want to use the normal dollar bank rate but the bank is telling me for that process they can do only form A which would take a lot of time and my deadline is 30th of June. My school is George brown college and they use the CIBC bank. Please if anyone knows how to make payment please let me know and sorry if someone has asked this question before because I don’t know how to use nairaland yet. Thank you as I wait your helpful response.

Its same, most times the letter of admission will contain an acceptance part (it will show if it is with condition or without condition), program schedule/duration and fees payment part, and other instructions.

Use Form A by opening a savings account with any one of Jaiz, TAJ, Heritage, Providus bank. They'll process your Form A if you can still make it

Assets and Financial Status Insufficiency means you do not have sufficient financial resources to successfully complete your study in Canada.

You may order for your GCMS notes to enable you pinpoint the exact reason for this.

You need to work on your POF.

The bank is actually telling you in plain English that even if you wait, there is no FX available. They can't disburse what they don't have.

Rush down to less known banks like Jaiz, TAJ, Heritage or Providus bank to open a savings account immediately and have a new form A filled

You can help yourself by telling us about your educational qualifications and what kind of program you are interested in . After giving us this information, I guarante you that a lot of people on this platform would search for schools offering programs that match your description and also guide you in applying . One thing you have to note is that , most colleges or universities in Canada requires you to pay an application fee before you can submit an application into any of their programs.
