Exactly my Question!

Why can't Nigerians look beyond tribe and ethnicity and vote a competent man for once. It beats my imagination how people will see a very active and vibrant man like OBI and then decide to support an Old cargo like Tinubu and Atiku just because of tribalism, nawa oooo.

The problem with you teebos is that you are intelligent by half.

1) You are blinded by bigotry for you to know that Peter Obi is a man above 60 years and hence is also an old cargo
2) Yeebos are a minority in Nigeria and politics is a game of numbers.

Because they are not accommodating, they are not united, they don't respect their elders, they have been given the position of the third citizen of the country and we know what they did.
Also, they are always angry.

This is the wicked mentality that you have about igbos but if I ask you where you have been to in Igbo land and were denied accommodation because you're a yoruba or hausa you can't say. This wickedness and evil propaganda will kill you if you don't desist from it.

Who actually mentored you?
Who is your spiritual father if I may ask, because you don't act spiritual sound.... You carry the scriptures up and down, yet your act is far away from the book you claim to carry.

Let me further declare my bias here; I am an Igbo man from Anambra State.

A Benin friend told me last week that I support Peter Obi because he's Igbo and from Anambra State! I was actually speechless at his prejudice!

Someone also said it's time we help the Igbos they have suffered so much in this country; I was like seriously?

I still hear some say voting for Peter Obi will be justice for the Igbos; ignorance is really really appalling!

Let me drop a few points here;

If some of the reasons alluded above is why you are supporting Peter Obi, then you are not different from the Tribal Warlords and Religious extremist!

Let me shock you further;

when I was at Abuja last year. I joined a discussion at the Hotel lobby and one Northern guy declared with uncommon arrogance; *" THE IGBOS SHALL CONTINUE TO SUFFER IN THIS COUNTRY, THEY WILL NEVER SMELL THE PRESIDENCY, THEY WILL PAY DEARLY FOR 1966...!"*

I asked him; Do you think the Igbos are suffering in this country? He thundered yes!

I told him my brother, let me help you a little bit; *" THE IGBOS WILL BE THE LAST TO SUFFER IN THIS COUNTRY!"* NO MATTER HOW BAD THIS COUNTY BECOMES THE AVERAGE IGBO BUSINESS MAN IS THE MOST INSULATED!

Everyone turned at me in shock; My Northern guy thundered; it's a lie, it's a lie! Which position do they occupy in this country?

I said let me help your ignorance a little;

Who paid for this Hotel? Your company or yourself? He said his company. I said do you know who owns the Hotel? He said no, I told him. He said then he won't lodge here again. I said my brother from TRANSCORP Hotels Owned by Tony Onyemaechi Elumelu to Bolingo to Chelsea, To Top Rank, To Rockview, to almost 95% of Hotels in Abuja here is owned by the same people you said are suffering!

I told him if you car is bad where do you buy your parts from?

If you are buying books, stationeries, school bags, etc who sells them at the market?

If you want to build where do you buy your building materials from?

I told him, I could go on and on.

I told him even in Port Harcourt, even in Lagos, almost every nook and cranny of this country; *"THE CHANCES THAT YOU WILL SPEND 90% OF YOUR INCOME ON AN IGBO MAN IS AS REAL AS TODAY!"*

Every where became silent! Let me explain why the Igbo man suffering is just a mirage;

The Government makes policy to increase import tariffs; Igbo man goes out import the goods, pays the tariffs and custom duties, afterwards he factors it into the cost of materials. You go to him to buy at the new price. He makes his Normal profit. *"AT THE END THE NEW TARIFF IS PAID BY WHO?* Everyone was shocked!

I told them no matter what Government does it can never affect the average businessman; The average businessman will always make his profit and shift the burden to the purchasers!

The only tribe in this country that have secured their Economy almost 100% is the Igbos. It's only in Igboland where Business and Property ownership is almost 98% owned by them! After they secured their homeland, they also arrive in your domain and in some instances control 50-80% of the entire commercial activities and sometimes upto 15-25% property ownership apart from Abuja they own about 70-75%. *"And you said they are suffering?"*

After about 40minutes of my indepth lecture, my Northern guy became silenced and confused. He suddenly realized that what his political leaders are telling him that we are suffering the igbos is actually boomeranging on them!

To be sincere, 2023 shouldn't be about Justice for the Igbos or it's the turn of the Igbos! How is Katsina after PMB? Go and ask! How did OBJ rule transform the West? Many Southwesterners insist to date that OBJ was never their choice! How did 6-years of Goodluck Jonathan transform BAYELSA?

If Peter Obi campaign goes tribal, I can assure you many people will abandon his campaign including myself!

Peter Obi should be treated on his merit and be given opportunity to rescue this country!

I laughed the other day when Asiwaju declared that he needs well meaning Nigerians to join him and rescue this country! *RESCUE? LIKE SERIOUSLY? FROM WHO?!*

The church should unite against the popular antichrist- Islam! It's clear there is an islamic agenda, if not while will a Muslim president replace another Muslim president? Can the Christians do it peacefully? Courage is one of the fruits of the spirit not cowardice. All the major Christian GOs should direct their congregants to vote a Christian like some with balls are already doing. Christians are more than Muslims in this country and a majority of them are igbo. That's why they keep attacking Catholic church cos they don't understand how 99.5% of igbos will be Christian

Religion divide people. All imported foreign religions should be banned. Religion and politics don't mix.

Sometimes as a Christian I wonder why some so call man of God turn themselves to God of man the beauty of democracy is when you are able to lobby , convince , form alliance and win election. It’s called election not selection , Power is not given, power is taken”, “we have to push back” against the resistance to change “because people do not like power being taken”.. that’s the logic

Igbo vote pdp stop all this lies, blame pdp for not giving Igbo the president ticket not apc
Medphy:
Don't mind them, When Igbo people overwhelmingly voted for President Obasanjo, a Yoruba man, problem no dey o.

Before then, Igbo people supported Obasanjo against Alex Ekwueme in the primaries, nobody complain o.

We gave President Yar'Adua, a Northerner, majority votes in the south east even against our own Ojukwu who was on the ballot, problem no dey o.

President Goodluck Jonathan wasn't an Igbo man, he wasn't from the east, Igbo votes for him in the East were undeniable.

Last elections, Atiku, a Northerner, swept the votes in the south east, even the SS votes weren't that decisive.

After all those years of ignoring their own tribesmen on the ballot, even the legendary Odumegwu Ojukwu, Igbo people finally saw Peter Obi and checked him out and said "ha, this one is good enough"

That's when suddenly they are being accused of tribalism. Suddenly it is now "those people have agenda".

But when we were ignoring our own back to back, agenda no dey, shey?

Lmao. This tribalism and bigotry blackmail no go work.

We die hia! Peter Obi to the end!

But now they are uniting around obi, you say it’s an ethnic agenda

WHY IGBO CANNOT BE PRESIDENT

1.THEIR POLITICIANS CANNOT COMPETE WITH OTHER POLITICIANS FROM EACH POLITICAL ZONES.

2. THEY DON'T BUILD BRIDGES ACROSS THE NATION.

3. THEY BELIEVE WITHOUT HAUSA AND FULANI'S SUPPORT THEY'RE NOTHING IN TERMS OF POLITICS REASON WHY MANY OF THEIR POLITICIANS DO STEPS DOWN FOR NORTHERNERS IN EVERY ELECTION.

4. THEY'RE STILL LEARNING NIGERIAN POLITICS FROM THE YORUBAS

5. POLITICS IS NOT IN THEIR CULTURE

I have highlighted the main reason in bold. Ndigbo has to learn how to build alliances. Politics is a game of addition and compromises. Being number two on a ticket is better than not being invited to the party at all. Someone you agree with 70% of the time is your friend, not an enemy.

*The issue of Religious Bigotry did not start from the North* . Let's go back to 1962, when a Northern Muslim, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa registered Nigeria as a member of the World Council of Churches and International Bible Society in 1963, no complain from the Muslim North. Saturday was a working day in Nigeria until 1973, Gowon, a Christian minority from the North declared it a work free day, to enable the Seventh Day Adventist Church to worship, no complain from the Muslim North.
In February 1979, Olusegun Obasanjo denied Ahmed Deedat, an Islamic Preacher, entry into Nigeria, no complain from the Muslim North.
In 1982 pope John Paul II was welcomed to Nigeria by a Muslim, Alhaji Shehu Shagari. Reinhart Bonke, a Christian Crusader, had a free enterance to Nigeria at will, no complain. Abacha welcomed Pope John Paul and established Papal Square along Kubwa express way, no complain from Muslims.
But in 1986 when Babangida registered Nigeria as a member of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) there was a riot in Lagos, Portharcout, Enugu, orchestrated and organised by CAN.
Pls who are the Religious Bigots?
Just recently, the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs distanced itself from all kinds of politics, but what about CAN? In 2013, a Private Jet belonging to the CAN President was intercepted in South Africa loaded with foreign currency, imagine it belonged to the Sultan?

Igbo man doesn't know how to play politics.

Igbo man doesn't know what he want in the Nigeria project.

Igbo man is in a dilemma whether to chose Biafra or Nigeria.

Igbo man preferred to hold Jagaban responsible for his badluck and lack of progress in life instead of Ikpeazu, Obi Pandora, Abaribe, Ekweremadu and Cownu.

And finally God has abandoned and refused to treat the Igbo man file until he decide on what he want in Nigeria.

I wish the Igbo man what he wish for Nigeria.
I have a message for you '"Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 says

5"For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten.
6 Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long since vanished, never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun"

So what is your profit in hating other people? Revenge? Does It make you feel better than them? Does it gives you the satisfaction that you are hitting back at them? I really dont understand the hatred btw The Yorubas and the Igbos online only.

We shall all pass through this world someday and all these hatred and prejudices we have toward one another person shall disappear like the breeze and never to be remembered. What do you now gain from hating another person or ethnic group?. I am not from the SE but I are really sick and tired of this e-war that never end. This hatred btw the Igbos & Yoruba's does not even exist in reality ,so why this hatred online?
Vote for your Jagaban and let others support and vote for their own candidate without any malice.

So, if Muslims are always ever the ones killing, burning and lynching Christians, there you have the answer to your question about who are the religious bigots.
All over the world, Islam has earned the title of being a religion of terrorism, extremism and bigotry.

What the man of God mean in his statement on why can't Igbo man become a president is very deeper than what he actually said.
He didn't want to say 'why can't Nigeria present a christian president this time around'.
A region that you mean is being marginalised but use to contest for the No 1 seat position each every four-four years....what is marginalise here? If they play their politics well they will get it. The political languages they understand are tribalism, hatred, bitter and lies.
Just look at all those trash they threw to Buhari...he's dead, he's Jubrin, Nigerian is a zoo country.
I wonder how people that are claiming they are Biafra suddenly turned to be Nigerians.
Nigeria is not a zoo nation again?
Has Nnamdi KANU agenda about biafra perished like that?
I can bet it with anybody here that Biafra agitation will surface again immediately after the winner(Jagaban)of 2023 election is declare.

Because Nigeria cannot move on from 1966 to 1971, the only country still haunted by civil war ghosts.

America has moved on from its civil war, even China that has experienced more than a thousand civil wars since antiquity is forging ahead united.

And if we ask, is it a black thing?, consider Rwanda that had a globally renowned bloodbath in our life time is leagues ahead of Nigeria in peace, progress and stability.

Please ask the owners of Nigeria why the country has ended with 'dual citizenship', divided between those who have and those who want. Those who give and those who beg.
