Kwankwuanso na still terrorist for my eye eee..

Why would a former emir of Kano want to be a Vice to an Igbo man? You people are extremely naive. You think Nigeria is normal. Sanusi would lose self respect among his Fulani kinsmen if he agrees to that.

Win the North and share it with Atiku. Peter Obi will manage to win 25% in very few core northern states. He will win middle belt, South South, South East. Win at least 30% in Southwest states. Cruise to victory.

Competence you say, perhaps that might have informed your decision to vote buhari twice because of his competence.
And by your own subjective measurement and understanding of competence, though, one wouldn't know what your paremeter is anywhere, Kwankwaso is more competence than Peter Obi
No body is begging Kwankwaso to accept being Obi's VP.
Kwankwaso should stop the mind game he is playing & go to contest for whatever political position he wishes & leave Obi alone.
Mind you, Obi is never desperate to winning any election or becoming Nigeria President, but we are desperate in changing the narrative of always thinking that it must be the old order.
If Peter Obi contested and lose, he would have succeeded in making a POINT and a worthwhile one at that, and we his genuine supporters would be super PROUD of him. That is our stands.

Abeg oooo! I didn't vote for Buhari. grin

My preferred candidates for 2023 were:
1. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala
2. Adesina Akinwumi
3. Prof. Yemi Osibanjo

*In that order.

I made reference to competence, and yes! It is what we need as a nation. Not religion, political affiliation or ethnicity.

I know little or nothing about Peter Obi et Rabiu Kwankwaso, other than the fact that they were governors and all that.

FOR ME, WHAT WE NEED RIGHT NOW IS SOMEONE THAT CAN SALVAGE NIGERIA AS IT STANDS! S/HE NEED NOT BE FROM MY TRIBE, BUT MUST POSSESS COMPETENCE.

However, since we have recognized zoning via a gentleman agreement, then a COMPETENT person should come from the South. If you say Obi is the perfect man, fine! Vote for him to win in 2023, not just to make a point. I feel like you're conceding defeat when you say you're supporting him to make a point.

Making "a point" at this point in time is pointless. Do you want to make a point while power reverts to the North??

Bro, zoning is a gentleman agreement and is not enshrined in the CFRN. I know it is despicable that the northerners are reneging on that agreement, but you can't call them greedy and selfish, because under the CFRN, they still have a right.

Obama was not underrated.

On the contrary, Obama was a senator who was a scholar with exceptional IQ.

He attended Harvard Law school where he excelled. President of the Harvard Law Review.

He didn't make a 3rd class, neither did he try to downplay the role of infrastructure to enrich the lives of the people.

This reminds me of what transpired during the formation of APC. At the time, the new party had two promient individuals whose life ambitions were to be president of the country. While one was a northerner who will always have the advantage of winning national elections, the other had to put his life time ambitions on ice despite being more progressive, visionary and capable. He clearly had to defer his ambitions for another 8 years in the hope that he will be supported to actualise his own ambition. This is what is almost playing out now. While the colossus of 2015 was ever willing to give way for the northerner in order to protect his own interest, the colossus of 2022 feels there is no point forming master strategist while the country burns.

That's why I will always be a kwakwasiyya any day anytime. For now, no Easterner can become a president they way the country is being structured politically.

The truth is what the Easterners don't like hearing. The two big political parties have delibrately shut the system against the people of the region. For reasons best known to them.

However, you cannot take it away from them that they have been the ones holding the economic steering if this nation for a while now from prof soludo to okonjo iweala to the CBN governor etc. A combination of the duo will mean prosperity to the nation. If one looks critically at their credentials in governace at the highest level of politics, kwakwanso out edge Mr peter obi.

Kwakwanso has been in and out of the villa manning sensitive positions that relates to security etc however the moderation and economic growth impact of Mr obi in Anambra state before the emergence of his prodigal successor had put the state on the right road map.

Anambra state if we'll positioned should be the second most economic viable state in Nigeria outside of Lagos. But bad governace and leadership had hindered the growth of the state.

If you ask me I will say I still don't understand the strategy in bringing foods and wares from overseas and landing it in Lagos first before using trucks to conveying it to the eastern parts of the country. This is economic sabotage and nothing less.

How much does it cost or how long will it take to dredge the river Niger to help boost the economy of the region.

Back to our main issue

This is another golden opportunity for us to push the country forward unlike when we succumbed for integrity as against glaring hard work that made us the country with the largest GDP in Africa ahead of south africa.

Kwakwanso the president and Peter obi the vice will mean a total departure from the Norm in governace as againt both the unholy alliance of barbariga and bullion van politics. These are people with principle and zeal to change the narrative. I heard they said one of them is stingy. Humm well it's better to be stingy and see good things happening at least in our lifetime.

The median age in Nigeria presently is average of 40 years and any attempt to add another wasteful 8years will see most people in their forties to be in their fifties and if the same bad party finds their way back to power, it means not again in the lifetime of those who were in their forties will they be able to see any good of the land cos they will be eyeing their sixties.

Faith doesn't solve this. You learn it. What made Atiku and Tinubu not choose from the Eastern region is because they don't give a damn about the region. They are both greedy and egositic and have no respect for the region

If this merger works well, it will be the closest foe the igbos to the seat of power which will eventually retire most political moneybags and gladiators who are presently struggling with their ages cos nature will come calling like uncle roberth Mugabe , their real age will tell in the next 15 years.

Wisdom is needed, am not an easterner but I think it's the closest to the Easterner achieving their result. .

Lastly, the northern votes will sway the way of kwakwanso because presently in Kano where APC may be booasting if the highest votes from the north have been deflated by the kwakwasiyya resurgence and popularity while in the eastern part the sentiment of our son inching closer to power will make an average Igbo man cum christian south say it's a batter deal.

Gos might have given yet another opportunity to the merger by helping create more challenges foe the two big parties now

Let's have a rethink

So, asking him to be VP is neither an insult or a demotion.
He shud understand that the north has been president for the last 7yrs and that cannot be perpetuated in another Kwankwaso presidency. Let him chk back in 8yrs time

It doesn't matter how many political offices you have occupied,, the issue is the baggage and embodiment one carries... What is kwankwasos level of acceptance nationwide?
Are the youth talking about him? The youth constitutes 65 to 70 percent of eligible voters in this country.. So , on which ground is he asking Obi to be his running mate??
Obi is far more educated than him .

Amen. Somehow I don't even want him not to contest because of strategy. If he steps down, the north may fix their support on Atiku which will be to Atikus advantage.
Obi has no rival in the southeast, south south and many central states. Most of the Christians in the northern states will support Obi. Many Christians in the southwest too will prefer Obi.
Liberal and moderate muslims too sees the virtue in Obi.
Obi has a chance really IF...if the people from his support based can really turn up and IF... Obi too on his part can engage in massive and radical grassroots campaigns and enlightenment.

You are very correct. No be by force. If he won’t vice Obi, let him go and share his vote with APC and PDP. Obi is gaining votes in the north already, middle belt is for Obi, south south and south east for Obi. So Obi has more votes in all. We remain OBIdient till the end.
