England is way more expensive than the US.

The US gives you a lot more option because it's a very big country. A lot of space to move around and experience different kind of weather.
England is rainy and cold. You also have more opportunities in the States.

People are nicer in the States when they first meet you, while in England they will curse you real fast. lol

You can share the whole travel route experience. At least, one way doesn't lead to the market, as long as one gets to the final intended destination.

I have traveled quite a bit, but it doesn’t mean that I’ve not been broke many times. I got help with a lot of my travels.

For example, when I left Nigeria at 18, it was my eldest brother who gave us money for passport, got us the visa, gave us money for tickets and money to hold while traveling. And he had a house rented for us and gave us money for food every month.

So I left Nigeria broke. I didn’t even have 1 kobo to my name. Lol

I have also had a girlfriend pay my plane ticket few times. No be say I used her, she just dey higher level and was making good money, so it was easy for her to do.

Yes, many ways lead to the market. Hopefully people will be inspired and try other ways.

For example, you can fly to Dominica visa free with Naija passport. If you can get there and make something happen, that can be a way.

And by the way, I’m still broke.

Yes they are not cheap, but I was just a normal black boy with expensive taste. Lol

There were times I ate just rice and ketchup for England, just to be able to buy these clothes. Lol

And I bought some from American kids that came to Uruguay with their parents. The short I was wearing in some of the pictures I uploaded are FUBU shorts. I was crazy about them then, things I don’t care for these days. I don’t even wear baggy clothes no more.

But na top of the line electronics I must still get till I die. Lol if it’s not top of the line, you know it was a gift, I did not buy that. Lol

Those clothes worked wonders for me in Uruguay, because I stood out and made friends easily, especially with the girls. �

So the moral of the story is that you should try to stand out, and blessings will come your way. Lol

And by the way, I’m still broke.
