Clean both inside and out
He bought it at Lagos
Vehicle paper took a week or so and plate number
Very clean ride
Calm down and look around,u will surely see a good car
Are you sure about this? Why not link him up with your dad? Maybe he might show him the way

I started my first search in Ajah. I moved from Ajah to Lekki. I barely saw Corolla cars. Most cars I saw were SUVs.

I then moved to Ikorodu. I couldn't see and Tokunbo Corolla.

Finally moved to Apapa

For those saying I should go back and wait or replan, please know that as the day goes buy prices of cars are going up.
I started planning to buy this car in January. Then my budget was 2m and the car was at 2.3 and 2.5m.

July the car is hitting 3.8m.

So I can't keep waiting. Dollar is going up everyday.
o meh d way things de cost eh

Very wonderful analysis/recommendation you got here. I would like to ask, if a car's catalytic converter is removed, can it be replaced? And when replaced, will it still function like it should? I own a 2009 Elantra and I discovered the catalytic converter was removed when I went to paint it.

ZeroChil:
You are good to go. Check that the mileage (Odometer) corresponds or closely corresponds with info provided below. Check for oil leaks underneath the car. If "check engine" light is static (on), run a simple OBDII scan. If you get the message "Catalyst converter below threshold" either bank 1, bank 2 or 3, you have yourself a vehicle with removed catalist converter what the local mechanics call "indomie". Lastly verify that the first body and paint is still intact. If I'll buy a 2007 Corolla for over 3M, I'll pay attention to these details. Good luck.

warf and tincan if you are lucky you will see direct importer to buy from at a way cheaper price. I always buy my cars from direct importers. and please don't try the Cotonou route, land border is still closed for vehicle import. if customs catch your vehicle nah outright seizure be that.

Of course you can get a replacement catalyst converter for your car's model year. As long as it is within the perfect year's range (2016-2018 Elantra shares same converter). Run a full scan to clear fault codes after installation. A check engine light associated with the catalyst conveter codes will not return if you got the right model year(s).

Good morning all. I believe you all are doing great.
I want to share my experience leaving Port Harcourt for Lagos to buy a Toyota Corolla.

I embarked on this journey on Sunday 10th July.
I came to Lagos to purchase the car because of these three conditions;
1. I thought it will cheaper in Lagos than Port Harcourt.
2. I believed in Lagos I will see much of it and would have a choice.
3. I believed in Lagos I will get the best with everything intact.

Before coming to Lagos I had my preferred model in mind. That's 2005 LE model.
All these your story, I hope you didn't end up buying an accidented car. Cos they are notorious for selling accident cars at Apapa. angry

For me I do not see the reason I would leave Port Harcourt and go to Lagos to buy a car that the difference might not be up to 200k. I only bought my Benz in Lagos because it was not available in PH. I saw the car on Instagram and asked for the vin no. to do a vin check on the car. Once we agreed on the price, I sent someone to go check it and confirm. I paid and registered the car and it was driven to me in PH.
Hello Boss, please how do you check the VIN of a car, do you have to pay for it I tried yesterday , it wasn't working
