Now in Auchi, passed Uromi by after nine this morning

Remember to buy plantains and ground nut when you pass uromi

Where exactly is the plantain location?..... the plantains are very big and I'm sure very good.... but something else grabbed all my attention ... can you help me find out more?

You're very funny ooo. You said from Asaba to Maiduguri?
It will take you at least 24hrs to do that. Besides, I doubt it very much that A Seinna car will do that trip with all the insecurity in Nigeria now.
The best way you can achieve that trip is entering a marcopolo from Asaba to Kano, then do Kano to Maiduguri.

From all the pix you've posted, I only saw Abuja pix, I didn't see Asaba-Benin-Auchi-Okene-Lokoja-Abaji road
Neither did I see the dreaded Abj-Kaduna-Zaria Road.

Unless you provide proofs of these roads, you're only hut a joker

You are not 100% correct. Going to Maiduguri via Bauchi - Darazo - Kari - Potiskum - Damaturu- Maiduguri. One has no business with Azare. Because you divert from Kari - Misau to get to Azare.

There are actually different routes once you get to Bauchi. One can cut off Azare and still get to Potiskum; I think this route is a little faster.
But there's also a route through Azare.

True...I was in Makurdi last month and what I saw broke my heart, aside the hunger the internal security is as cult boys have taken oves some parts of the town like North Bank. They harras people, collect their phones and even shoot people who try to strugglf with them. Rumours have it that soldiers askd to give them a go to handle the situation but he refused.

Actually, you can connect Damaturu from Gombe via the Nafada-Potiskum road. The road is bad in major areas but highly reliable if you have no business in Bauchi.
I know that road too.
Passes thru Ashaka to Fika to Potiskum

There will always be sadists in every thread and this here is one. People who always doubt the purpose of a thread and try to make others discard the entire thread with their faulty assertions as well. Pathetic.

What you wrote is absolutely true, there are a lot of areas he has performed totally bad, I just chose to point out those two. About internal insecurity, what you described happens almost on a daily.... I stay at Northbank. I shake my head whenever I see outsiders praising him for any reason at all, but you can't blame them, they just don't know. We've never had it this bad in the history of Benue.

Nice one. I still remember way back in naija during my university days at uniben many many years ago there was one hausa maisha that had a kiosk like this in ekosodin, where students use to buy well prepared indomie with eggs and we topped it off with hot tea or coffee cool

Stay safe bro and please once it's getting to 6pm just look for a safe place to stay the night and continue your journey the next day. Keep the pictures coming cool

Looking for former police and military people. Who are licensed to carry firearms

Private security operatives are not licensed to carry firearms. Surely, someone opening a security company should know this. Why do you think SPU is used by VIPs in Nigeria?

Baba, I once drove a sienna from Maiduguri to Warri, 2 days on the road because I first went to Kano before going through to warri (Longer route) and sienna is faster than the marco polo due to many current factors.

I'm so much in love with this thread.
I wish you safe journey @Onlinefarmstore.

I'm an avid traveler but it's been so long I travelled due to the nature of my job that has kept me in Lagos. I prefer road travelling because it's fun and educating. The thrills of meeting new people, learning about routes, eating road side food with the locals. Omo. Nothing beats it.

That said, I will be taking my leave from work this month and I'll be hitting the road immediately.

From Lagos, I'll enter Benin. Spend a day or two then hit Abuja. Spend 2 weeks then hit the road again back to Lagos. I've never done Abuja to Lagos by road and I'm looking forward to the trip.

I can afford going by Air but what's the fun there? 45 - 50 minutes max and I'm back on ground.
Insecurity or not, many of us find purpose traveling by road.

I'll document my journey here on nairaland.
