The govt I responsible for the 100 but failed woefully. We go thanks to God for rescuing the 95.

Go and hold your govt accountable for their incompetent.

God will not come down from heaven and do everything for you

We have cycled back again.

Why couldn’t God rescue all 100%, why just 95%?

Is it because the 5% didn’t pray, didn’t have faith, what is the reason?

Note that, I not on any side here; I just want us to ensure that we don’t give people false promises i.e. they should ‘just pray and everything will be okay’.

Even the Bible clearly stated that faith without work is useless….plus God gave us wisdom, knowledge, discernment, let’s also use all of that, in addition to our prayers and work.

I completely agree with you that, the government has failed us woefully in this area, just like in many other areas….no bi today.

Yes or you try the other route

Abuja-(Kaduna-Zaria)-(Kano-Wudil)-(Ringim-Shuwari-Kiyawa)-(Jama’are-Azare)-(Potiskum-Damaturu)-Maiduguri.

*the towns in bracket are in the same state
The simple form is
Abuja-Kaduna-Kano-Jigawa-Bauchi-Yobe-Maiduguri

If one pass through Wudil then he has no business with Ringim.

CountryTireMan:

The first time I passed there, we passed through Gombe cause we had to drop some people and goods at Gombe, then we passed a bypass that took us to Potiskum.

The second time, we passed through Gombe, delivered some goods in Biu town (Southern part of Borno, then passed through Miringa to Buratai to Buni Gari to Buni Yadi to Damaturu To Maiduguri.

We could have just passed Biu to Damboa to Maiduguri which is short but that road is under Terrorist control.

You passed through Gombe because you had something to do there. But one going to Maiduguri from Jos need not to pass through Gombe.

So after four months of being grounded due to lack of security clearance from the advance team, I finally stubbornly decided to go to Maiduguri via road as cost of flight was too expensive and it didn't make financial sense to me.

So this is a live update of my journey as I proceed on my trip.

Note I didn't follow through Enugu rather via Asaba.

Y ou can follow my update via Instagram

I'm so much in love with this thread.
I wish you safe journey @Onlinefarmstore.

I'm an avid traveler but it's been so long I travelled due to the nature of my job that has kept me in Lagos. I prefer road travelling because it's fun and educating. The thrills of meeting new people, learning about routes, eating road side food with the locals. Omo. Nothing beats it.

That said, I will be taking my leave from work this month and I'll be hitting the road immediately.

From Lagos, I'll enter Benin. Spend a day or two then hit Abuja. Spend 2 weeks then hit the road again back to Lagos. I've never done Abuja to Lagos by road and I'm looking forward to the trip.

I can afford going by Air but what's the fun there? 45 - 50 minutes max and I'm back on ground.
Insecurity or not, many of us find purpose traveling by road.

I'll document my journey here on nairaland.

I look forward reading your post on Nl. Please mention me once you start the thread. Thank you
