I tried tracking the application using the tracking id number on the yellow slip I was given after biometrics was collected and the response was "no records found"
makano:
Yes you can.

Just make sure your mail contains your full name, UCI and application number... Next time if you (or anyone u know) wanna engage an Agent, make sure you and the agent agree you will have access to our IRCC portal before u make payment for his or her service.. You applicants are giving all these so called agents too much room for rubbish..

Peace

Go to applyboard.com and under explore courses fill the eligibility form and it will bring out likely courses you can study based on educational details provided.

Also for those looking to use an agent there is nothing wrong with that but ENSURE YOU HAVE A WRITTEN AGREEMENT TO SHARE LOGIN DETAILS. Also do a retainer agreement where the services to be rendered will be outlined and access to the portal confirmed. This is the only way to avoid stories that touch and any agent who refuses this request please run

And to think I was fasted, prayed and even went for upfront medical and biometrics (risking my life) for a non-existing application. I was such a fool. I hope nobody falls victim as I and so many other people that used her have. Please fellow prospective applicant, DIY where you can and ask for help where necessary

Greetings Everyone,

I received my ppr some days ago which I shared here. In it, I was informed that my passport must be valid for the duration of my expected length of stay in Canada. Unfortunately, my passport has just 8 months validity, which is not up to my expected length of stay.

I therefore need to do a new passport ASAP because I have less than 30 days to submit my passport. I believe we all know the difficulties and delay in doing a new passport or renewal now. Most of the immigration office in Nigeria have no booklet at the moment.

I met someone(immigration officer) who told me that they can do an e-passport for me at their own office and it will take just a week to be ready. I just want to ask, does Canada accept e-passport?

Thank you all and GOD bless

Don't just try to renew that passport in Nigeria, you won't meet up with the deadline for passport submission.

Submit your about to expiry passport for visa stamp.

The information you got is not valid.

hello pls I sent you an email I have some questions I would like to ask. Thank you very much.

CentennialGuy:
Landing Gist - Lagos to Toronto Via EgyptAir. August 9 - 10, 2022.

LAGOS AIRPORT
I got to the Lagos Airport around 8:30am. My flight was for 2pm. I had to give the security guys at the entrance 1k for them to allow my people go in with me. After my luggages went through the scanner, I gave the immigration officers that were suppose to do manual check after the scanner 1k so l can move on. Then I proceeded to Agriculture where I opened one of the luggage that had some food item for them to check. They checked and told me to go. Then I proceeded to EgyptAir stand.

EgyptAir didn't start on time for us because there were some Nigerians going on pilgrimage to Jerusalem via Egypt that they were attending to. They were the majority on our flight to Cairo. Anyways, by 10am I had cleared the EgyptAir check and checked in my bags. They weren't overweight. They asked for ArriveCan, Acceptance Letter, Enrollment Letter and School Fees Receipt.

By 10:30am, my people left and I proceeded to immigration. I was given yellow card by EgyptAir which I filled and I dropped with the immigration officers. Then I proceeded to the scanner where we will drop our carry on bags, laptops, phones, keys etc in a bowl to pass through the scanner. Now, I had the scariest moment of my life at this point. I shared this experience with family members only before now. I decided to share with you guys so you can learn from the experience. Always hold your Passport with you!

At the point of the scanner the immigration officer there asked us to put all our things in the bowl including our passport. It was just me and one Arab guy, possibly Lebanese. He could speak Yoruba and was dashing immigration guys money. So we placed our things in Separate bowls and I went ahead through the scanner but he didn't go through the scanner. The immigration officer asked him to come and he did manual check for him and he let him go.

So I exited the scanner to go collect my things. I wore my shoes, picked up my glasses, phones, wallet and Passport. Passport? My passport with the boarding pass was no where to be found. It was missing! At that moment, it felt like my world has ended and that village people caught up with me. I was in disarray and I started shouting. In the process of shouting, I kept saying it was me and the Arab guy that came to that point together and now my Passport is missing. One of the senior immigration officers approached me and asked me which guy. I turned round and and pointed at him just before he exited that place and be gone forever! The officer approached him. I don't know what he told him because I wasn't looking as I was still in disarray and lo and behold, my Passport and boarding pass resurfaced! The excuse I got is that he also has a Nigerian Passport and he mistakenly took mine. Yet his own passport was still with him. I don't buy that story but all good. God saved and delivered me already. I collected my Passport and left. Whew!

All through the rest of the journey, I held my Passport with me till I exited Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada.

CAIRO AIRPORT.
We got to Cairo around 9pm Cairo time which is 8pm Nigerian time. The Airport is bigger and finer than MMA. A bus took us to Terminal 3 and it was a long walk combined with lift and escalators to get to gate F where will be boarding to Toronto. We waited around for another 3 hours before we started boarding and took off to Toronto around 2am. They only checked our passport, boarding pass and ArriveCan here. I showed them theArriveCan receipt on the phone as the lady in Lagos had taken the only copy I printed. It was a smooth 11.5hrs journey to Toronto. The plane is alot bigger than the one that took us from Lagos to Cairo. Comfy ride all through.

TORONTO PEARSON AIRPORT
We landed in Toronto around 8am Toronto time. Now, this airport is huge. And fine and well layed out. The walk to the self service kiosk is also long but we got there. I had done my declaration ahead in the ArriveCan, so I was pretty quick at the service kiosk. I scanned my Passport, machine took my photograph and printed my receipt. We were taken to the place where will collect our study permit. Our letter of Introduction was collected and we were told to sit down. They called us one after the other. You will enter the office, the border officer will collect your passport, check your info on the system, check your visa and stamp your passport. Then your study permit will be given to you. No questions asked.
I proceeded to baggage claim. When I got there, I asked one of the officers which carousel could be carrying the baggages from EgyptAir because the carousels were so many that I didn't want to be going one by one to check. He asked his colleague on his walkie talkie. He said Carousel 7, I went there. Found my bags in 7 and then in 6. Took the train within the airport to get to Terminal 3 where the car that came to get me was parked and I was on my way.

FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT ON THE FLIGHT.
The food was Okay. Although the Rice, chicken and sauce from Cairo to Toronto was better than Lagos to Cairo. They served us twice Lagos to Cairo and 3 times on the flight from Cairo to Lagos. I filled my time with movies that I haven't watched before. And then a little sleep, a little prayers here and there and I didn't feel bored on the flight till we got to Toronto.

It was a great journey in general. I haven't gone out yet as I only arrived yesterday and I'm still on my bed right now. It's around 8am here. But from our drive from the airport to home, I will say Canada is beautiful. May all of us that desire it experience it all in Jesus name.

PS: Don't forget to come with your universal adapter. The picture attached is what their socket looks like. Buy the one that has USB port with it. It's about 4k.

Have a great day you all!

It's a new week oh make una let it slide and make una reduce all this big big grammar e no dey necessary oh lol just joking tho.. there's no way tongue and teeth won't fight. Make una dey please let things slide anytime argument sup, and I've noticed that once we have someone here answering questions from people and providing solutions to issues then boom something go just sup and then argument won't make them give regular response anymore. I can give 3-4 examples of people who aren't talking no more on here. Make una just dey try settle things and if not just let it slide abeq. And try know this we can't be equal and we all came from different backgrounds, so we teach, we learn and then we move...

Make una dey channel all these energy into something wey go help all of us

Happy Sunday
Blessed week guys

Haha, thank you very much for the needed honesty, my dear Makano. You’re neither the first nor even third person to notice CharitoJames as a careless speaker on this forum.

Sometime last week, she was so blatantly rude to a person asking a question about an application that about two people had to outrightly tell her off.

While it’s not a bad thing to be spirited or religious, she acts like she cannot make a mistake or be wrong because she (seemingly) has good intentions. She also acts like correcting her is a direct insult to her person and I find that a little too insufferable.

Hi makano, Pls do you know any MP in Toronto, Scarborough guildwood that I can contact?
makano:
Another agent wahala..

Why will someone keep details from the Original owner of the accounts they actually paid for..

Where is even the time to be keeping details of many applicants and monitoring their applications...

Apply for them and give them their login details so they can be following up with their applications, what's difficult in doing that...

Thats why I frown at anyone that calls me an agent, Guru is okay with me..

Guess your agent doesn't even know Jack, cos if he does, he will know that Medicals is valid for 12 months and he wont have told you to go do another Medical Examination.. All you need to do is to write IRCC informing them that you have done an Upfront Medicals earlier and make sure you attach your medical E-sheet with the
mail you will be sending..

Peace

Gurus in the house, please what is the process of applying for a study permit for accompanying children with one in primary school and the other one in secondary school here in Nigeria?

Is there a need to secure admission for them in primary and secondary schools in Canada and include their admission letters in their study permit applications? If yes, how can one secure admissions to primary and secondary school in Canada?

Your response will be highly appreciated.
