there is no much future in tech like you presume. the next 30 years will show that. if you are wise and want relevance, always stick to anything human-centric. technology changes, humans never change. health will continue to worsen as we move into the future, go and get involved in health related domains with a focus on mitigation and care and you will have a future everyone will envy. leave the Fad called tech, it doesn't hold as much water as people ascribe it.

Actually... I need to learn this... Please I am in my mid-30s is it possible to learn and earn from it decently? Where do I start from as a total beginner? Can I also learn from YouTube and how long will it take me if I am very serious about it?

Check edureka channel on YouTube. It got lots of educational courses that are beginner friendly.

This is nothing but the truth. It takes consistent learning and persistent self building before you hammer. Unfortunately, many give up too early. I got two foreign jobs this year and everything changed suddenly after 4 years of coding for local coys. Nothing like earning in dollars while in 9ja. cool
Don't give up if you choose the path.

Chairman tell me about coding
How can I learn

I think it should be InfoTech. There's a difference between Tech and InfoTech.

Unfortunately only a few will share it.
Truth is, in every labour there is profit.
Agriculture/food processing will continue to have a primacy of place.

People will continue to eat and depend on herbs for drug production

You have more than enough resources on Youtube. Start with HTML/CSS, Javascript, React or VueJs or Angular. When you have developed about 3 solid projects with this, then you're good to go.
How can I learn

There's no such thing as 'Tech'.

What most Nigerians refer to when they say 'Tech' is Information technology & it's innovations.

This (IT) is a broad field that includes several subfields:

Analytics. (Data Analysis, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning etc).
Cyber security/Cryptography
Web/Application development.
Enterprise /Information systems.
Blockchain development .

While non science students can get into tech, it's usually not too easy. It requires interest. Even science students without enough motivation do struggle — But it's possible.

Books, courses and Bootcamps are sources.of training.

Packt.com.
Leanpub.com
Nostarch.com are nice examples.

Good Analytics /Datasciency courses can be found on Bluecourses.com too.

YouTube and codewithmosh.com are both fantastic.

Just decide on a path, choose a structured learning path and FOCUS.
