The secondary school teacher I fear most is fine Arts teacher.
Man can flog for Africa. But one day I did something that saved his ass. He gave me a wound on my left thumb while flogging me and guess what, my mum was coming to school to give me lunch money.
As soon as the man saw my mum, he was scared to his bones thinking I will tell my mum.
Guess what again? I didn't tell my mum, I even hid the wound from her coz my mum would literally kill him if she saw it.
And since then the man stopped flogging me even stopped shouting at me!

We were the ones that used to beat the teachers if they did anyhow at Aggrey Memorial College, except one Stanley Okoronkwo that year, he flogs girls but calls out men for one on one racking. I think he learnt boxing and other self defense techniques. You are the one that will beg him to flog you instead because he will punch the living daylight out of you. Grapple with you and slam you hard. If that man head chokes you, you will wee on your cloth before he will release you. That guy should have been in combative sports. Mean handsome guy. He is getting old sha.

Secondary School was fun then, most of our teachers didn't give us tough time like the seniors and prefects. The only teacher i can still remember is Mr Tobi. Anyone that attended ASCSS between 2001/2002 will remember how tough he was then.

My teacher back then, Often referred to as "Bend Low" wasn't taking maths but wasn't taking nonsense from students either ....

Unlike these days, the mathematics teachers of then were very tough. I remember my mathematics teacher in primary school around 1995/96, He will give us 50 or more questions as assigment and if you don't do it, he will flog you for the number of questions you didn't do. The one i will never forget was the day he gave us 80 questions. One boy didn't do it at all and he gave him 80 strokes. We were all helping him to count untill it got to 80 !

Whenever we had maths then, we were always very afraid and many of us developed phobia for mathematics. These days Mathematics teachers have been given re-orientation and are much more friendly and approachable. There's no excuse for any child now to hate maths or develope phobia for it.

Sir Ninja was nt feared,he was respectd and loved by all students cos he was a guy man.Dat Principal was the one Keke replaced.That shud be early 2002,hv 4goten his name,he was dark and nt skinny,if my memory serves me right.
