If you don't wish to stress yourself going to your primary school to check the school registers, follow this guy calculation you will get the year, then you can choose month and day you like.

I myself i was in primary 3 by the age of 9, and finished my primary school by the of 12, and wrote my waec by the age of 18years.

Using this calculation, since you just finished your primary 1 in the year 2000, and was on your way to primary 2, you should be 7year by then, so your years of birth should be 1993.

Judging by what you write, you were in primary one going to two before your uncle took you to Lagos, that should be 7 maxy

First is that uncle that took you to Lagos still alive? If he is alive can you ask him what year he brought you to Lagos and how old were you when he brought to Lagos? From there we can calculate your age.

If the primary school you attended before your uncle took you out is still functioning. Go there.. they should check your results and probably your registration... You will find the answers u seek

Something tells me you were born in the nineties, earlier or not, I don't know.

You can use that Nursery 3 admission to estimate the year or better still can you still recall the year you were in Primary 1, that may give you some clue.


C.S: I used the death of elder brother to get my own date of birth, those who were around that time though some are dead now gave me the accounts and I had to corroborate those claims with other people reports.

Those days there is a particular age you must attain before you enter primary school, mostly 6yrs old but your hand must be able to touch your other ear. So if you are 6 yes old but your hand doesn't touch your ear you can't enter primary school, or you have to remain in primary 1 till you can touch your ear.

So I'm guessing your date of birth should be around. 1995-1996

You might have been 6years old when he took you to Lagos. This is with the thought that you were in a public primary school going to primary 2. They usually enrol their kids at 5yrs old.

Meanwhile, you could just ask your uncle, he probably knew when your mom birthed you.

Or you could follow the one stated on your waec cert and make it official.

Or you could decide on the one you like....I would stake my birthday for Christmas or valentine�

I been think say na only me. Anyway, the robot no dey very special to me. I go dash am any approximate age till the thing grind to a halt make I rest.

Those that were born in 1990 upwards will find it difficult to understand why parents failed to keep age record.
but WE that were born in 1980's downwards really know the reality.

You concluded too fast.

You judged by the headline.

Yet instead of taking full responsibility you are justifying it by comparing your self with the other hasty commenters who only judge by the headlines and blaming your phone font which you u can adjust yourself.

You are between 29-30years... The issue here is that you may not come to terms with your month and day of birth.

But your year of birth is not really a problem ascertaining it.

Your uncle should have correct answer for you.
He knows those to ask in the village.

If I'll use my age as a case study, you're not up to 30. I was in JSS1 in 2000 and I'm in my early 30s now. You're certainly in your late 20s... 28-29.
