Please I need advice urgently. In a more clearer terms: My name is Bukola. A friend introduced me to this platform. I earned my Bs.C. in Psychology, but with a poor grade. So, I couldn't get admission to a master's program. I decided to go for a college diploma, I have gained admission into Social Service Worker (2 years program), which is relevant to my current job (I work in the psychiatric center). Here is my concern: please can anyone advise me on how to convince the visa officer why I didn't go for a master's program? I'm afraid he might not see it as a logical progression. I mean he may question why I need a diploma after Bs.C. Please I need serious advice. Thank you in advance. Please help me!!! |

Still waiting for my PPR but i say make i ask. I also received a gift deed from my mom but I didn't submit her statement .. Is that wrong? Will that pose as a problem? God forbid ooh!! I just gave a brief profile on each of my family member (Home Ties). The gift deed was notorized by the court. I had about 7M then the gift deed 5M I am self sponsored. Omo everyday my mind go the cut for new things. Was it same thing you did? Pace6: |

oyefhunke:I did my medical here in Abuja. #46,500 NGN. Spent about 4 hours plus. From the waiting area to documentation to X-Ray, to lab for blood and urine samples from there to nurse and then doctor for examination. It was nothing though. |

sos123:I didn’t submit my older bro’s statement. Is your program 1 or 2 years? I’m self sponsored, notarized the gift deed by a lawyer and also had the affidavit of support stamped in the court. It will end in praise. |

Silas12345:Hello Chief, Write to MPs of the province you’re going to. Someone here also tried Sean Fraser or Justin’s office - can’t remember which it was. You could give it a shot too. 1 year plus is definitely abnormal. Wish you all the best |

If going for medical assessment at IOM. Is it compulsory to go with original international passport? Do they accept photocopy if the original is not Available? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by johnstan(m): 6:28pm On Oct 20, 2022 |
apeja2017:It advisable to go with the original to avoid unnecessary delays, however, you can go with a photocopy. They will attend to you turn by turn with a crowd that you cannot imagine. If it gets to your turn and you have a photocopy, they will ask you to leave the queue and go to a particular office to verify the photocopy before you return and rejoin the queue. |

What if you guys suggest to her uncle to give her the funds needed for the one-year program? You can calculate her school fees and living expenses of $10,000CAD along with a miscellaneous of $3000CAD and just do a deed of gift along with it. He might need to along write a letter of support and state that he gave her the funds for her studies. He can also attach his personal details and other documents that can demonstrate that he is indeed her uncle. Yeah, a one-year program qualifies you for a one-year PGWP. Hope4Naja: |
