Apple sells an ecosystem.

You own an iphone, a MacBook pro, an apple watch, airpods pro and maybe an ipad.

When you own these devices and all connected to the same icloud account, you would understand the beauty of the ecosystem.

Android and Windows PC users will never understand how an ecosystem works until they experience it.

People who say apple devices don’t have value possibly dont know what value means or have no idea about how productivity can be increased if all your devices belong to an ecosystem.

You take a picture on your phone and it is available on your pc. Or you are working on a document on your ipad and it is there on your phone.

Or you are listening to music on your laptop via your airpods, you pick stand up to go outside to buy eggs and the music continues via your Apple Watch to stream into your airpods.

Your messages come to all devices. Then you have full device tracking prevention plus the best privacy any system can offer for free.

Many years ago, before I understood the apple ecosystem, i always yabbed apple too. Until i got my first iphone and I noticed that it was not obtrusive, then i got a MacBook pro and i saw the light. It was a rude awakening.

There is a reason why most prodictive-minded people currently use Apple.

For over 10 years, intel stagnated on processor design, just repolishing same specs, albeit increasing efficiency. Apple left old intel at the car park and went to develop their own silicon and revolutionized the industry with the M1 chip.

Apple is in its own corner. Hate all you want. Nemo dat quod non habet.

I rather say iphone is a phone with good quality than value, because once you buy it, it becomes a liability and its worth depreciate with time.

When they said Benz get value does it mean you can buy Benz 10 million for use and resell it for same amount or even higher ?

iPhone has second hand value more than any other phone on the planet earth

Buy an iPhone 14 pro max and Samsung ultra 22 this year if you want to resell them next year you will sell iPhone faster and costlier than Samsung.

That’s the point you can’t debate .

Your ignorance is referring to a charger as "Android charger". As long as the charger pumps out enough voltage and current, the phone doesn't give a damn whether it was made by Xi Kwan Lee or by Steve Jobs
You are the ignorant one. iPhone has a special charger made by Apple. It is expensive and that is why Nigerians resort to using Android charger to charge iPhone.

From iPhone 11, iPhone chargers’ changed and you can’t use its cable in Android charger heads like the previous iPhones.

The chargers changed from USB-A to USB-C. But the iPhones still charge with a proprietary Apple Lightning cable. If I use a USB-A to Lightning cable used before the iPhone 11 and a so-called "Android charger head" to charge my iPhone 13 will it charge? Because I don't understand the is sill talk here of a so-called "Android charger" as long as the charger gives out 5v and 2.1A and there is a cable that can connect it to an iPhone or an android phone, it is not an "Android charger" it is a phone charger, period. I wonder what you guys will say when Apple is eventually compelled to get rid of the lightning port and all phones start using USB-C ports. Then we can all rest from this sill discrimination of "iPhone charger" and "Android charger". Any cable will be able to charge any phone and we can get on to more productive conversations

So I don't get the gripe about "Android charger". A charger is a charger as long as it generates 5v and at least 2.1v. I use a 13P and an after market charger from Anker. Would you know say because I use Anker (which can charge both Android and Apple) that I'm using an "Android charger"?
Android charger is a charger made by any manufacturer of Android phone. iPhone charger is a charger made by Apple. That a Samsung or Techno charger can charge iPhone doesn't mean iPhone doesn't have a special charger.

You quick they vex bros. Na naija slang be “Android charger and head” any charger compatible with all phones will charge them no doubt. I get your point though and I hope you got mine?

It's laughable when ignorance talks! I use an iPhone. 13Pro and 13 Pro Max specifically. 256G and 1TB respectively. And I have the iPhone X and iPhone XR laying around the house. Apple DOES NOT have a "special charger". It's all marketing. I use a more expensive charger than the so-called "Apple special charger". It's made by Anker. And will charge ANY phone optimally. So stop all this nonsense talk of "Apple special charger". It's a charger simple. Or is it special because it can detect when your iPhone battery is low and connect itself to the phone, charge until it's full and then disconnect itself from the phone? Or does it charge the battery and the battery never goes empty forever? Abegi! You guys are the ones that run after the "branding". All gear no idea. I tell you for free that there is NO difference between an apple branded charger and a Samsung branded charger. Na current all.of them dey push inside the battery. Period

What is "special" about this so-called "iPhone special charger"?

I have their (Apple original brought from the Apple store in New York) useless Wireless charger at home and I know there's absolutely nothing special about it. The Anker Wireless charger is sleeker, faster and tougher than you so-called iPhone "special charger"

Whether you like the iPhone charger or you consider it useless, the fact remains that Apple makes a special charger for iPhones and those iPhone chargers are very expensive.

Oga it’s really not about iPhone chargers been expensive cos we also have very expensive android n Samsung chargers but Nigerian android users still do not go for them.Charger heads are charger heads. They can be used for both android n apple devices.Samsung company manufactures it’s own chargers just like apple n they are both expensive…..

You argue with sentiment. I argue with facts. I am not saying iPhone is the best brand of smart phones. But I know iPhone truly has value. iPhone is the most rugged brand of smart phones. With severely crack screen, it can still work. iPhone 7 and later versions of iPhone are water and dust resistant. Android is more vulnerable to virus and hack. Apart from Samsung, no other brand of phone has OS and camera quality that can challenge iPhone. Counter these points with facts, if you claim iPhone has no value.
Lol. U're wrong abt samsung being d only android product nt vulnerable to hacks and virus.. Use d nokia product and lemme see how u'll make dz same claim..

You are just beating around the bush. Is having a good quality not having value?

Okay, define the word, "value" to show that something can have a good quality without having a value.

Talking about depreciation, must something be permanent before it can have value? Having value does not mean being immortal.

Oga accept correction and remain wise.

No it doesn’t. And for the record it has an firewall that prevents malware and spyware. iPhone had its own ecosystem that doesn’t interact with Android in anyway.

I'm going to ignore the insult. Everything Apple makes is more expensive. It's a class thing. It is NOT A "special charger". It's a regular charger with Apple branding. It's more expensive because of that branding and not because it is "special".

You should be more informed before making sweeping categorical statements. iPhones have malware. Fact. And many iPhone folks may have those malware without even knowing.

Hmm, be careful about this kind of advice o. iPhone 6S Plus or even iPhone 8 are so old their batteries will be almost useless. Yes you can buy aftermarket batteries but that's a completely different conversation. Also, the most widely available versions of these phones are the ones with small storage (under 128GB). With the current size of apps it doesn't make much sense to be using a 64GB iPhone these days.
