I don't know whether it's due to the fact I'm an introvert or maybe because I have lost connection with most of my secondary school friends.. to me I feel I'm just normal but people always tell me I don't act mature.. something happened today where I work,I have a colleague who is 17 years old, he somehow has a huge stature you will think he is around 22, somehow I became friend with this guy, not until today we had a discussion that made him ask for my age,I said 24 he was surprised and said wow. I said do I really look that young, he says not really "but the way I behave".

He pain me, but I just comot eye.

I also noticed I crush on secondary school girls sometimes,I will feel as if we are age mates, I even feel as if I'm age mates with the lil boys still in ss3 at time.
And I believe this is due to the fact I couldn't secure admission since I finished secondary school in 2016,I just got admission this year but I've lost interest already cuz most of my mates are done with school. And I still thought to myself today that if I go to school now,I will start mingling with underage and my mind will be growing at the same pace with them.

I'm not happy at all.

I need your advice please.

Can u look into ADHD? Search it and look for the symptoms If it looks applicable. ADHD is said to backtrack your emotional maturity by 4 years or more, meaning, your reasoning and behaviour Could be 20+ downward.

Look into Meditation, Cardio Exercise. Also find something u Could be doing to put you in a state of zone where u would barely know where you due to you being so focused on that thing, doing that daily usually helps u set your priotity straight and lots of things u care about now will stop having much meaning to you.

And school, na, man. A whole lots of adult will be your Class, don't worry about tbay.

I support your motives on the age issues bro �, I finished my secondary school in year 2009 and there was no money to further my education as at that time then I have to work for several years to further my education to the glory of God I’m in my final year now at age 32, oldest person in my department is 24 but I still play around with them but I use my brain.

Read this thread. Lots of books have been mentioned in it already. And when you done reading them, start a new thread, what books would make one grow and mature.

I got to say, reading Nairaland is one of the best books to read to mature and grow and evolve. You got to read the right stuff right though.
