Peter Obi Is Just Too Smart!! See His Response When Asked About Soludo At Lagos Business School Today

At the Lagos Business School Alumni conference today, HE. Mr Peter Obi was asked about Gov. Soludo’s recent comments about his investments & performance, and this is what he had to say.

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi on Tuesday, said he did his little as governor of Anambra State and urged the incumbent governor, Chukwuma Soludo to do his best in the state as an economics professor.

Obi stated this at the 2022 Lagos Business School (LBS) Alumni Conference in Lagos.

The Anambra governor between 2006 and 2014 was reacting to Soludo’s comments that the investment he (Obi) left in government is worth close to nothing.

Also, Soludo on Monday had tackled Obi, saying he can’t win the 2023 presidential election.

Soludo Remains My Brother

Reacting on Tuesday in Lagos, Obi described Soludo as his brother.

“He (Soludo) remains my brother, we are very close. I remain prayerful for him. For other things which I didn’t succeed, God has given him opportunity to do it and succeed.

"So, if there is anything pending, governance doesn’t finish, people are still in government in America, so you stop where you will stop, other people will continue from there,” Obi said.

"He is the governor of the state; he is my senior brother, he is even more intelligent than me because he is a professor, I am a trader, so he knows more and will be able to do things better than I am doing it.

“I have done my little own as a trader, now the professor is there he will do his own as a professor, the schools I didn’t roof he will roof them, that’s how government goes.”

Soludo did nothing wrong. Pursuing one's own interest is not greediness. Igbo proverb says "the house you live in is what you should always maintain".

If you throw lemons at Peter Obi he will turn it to lemonade, Soludo will be regretting letting hate and envy get better of him, lastly Peter Obi is very intelligent, the President Nigeria needs in 2023

The responsibility of government is to create a level ground for investors,provide infrastructures,security and enabling environment and see investors trooping and lobbying.no be to set up beer production company and say it is investment,soludobwas right to say the investments are worth next to nothing.

1. norwegian sovereign wealth fund.
2. qatar sovereign wealth fund.
3. Who owns Emirates airlines
4. China Investment Corporation
5. Abu Dhabi Investment Authority
6. Kuwait Investment Authority
7. The Exchange Fund of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKMA IP)
8. Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation
Just to mention a few. These are all state owned investments. Many of them have gone on to be super successful.
You may not like Obi and you have you right to hate anyone. But don't condemn him even when he does well.

Pertaining to your mention about SWF,I believe they are ventures from surpluses accrued to the government and excess revenues.they are mostly set aside to cushion macro economic effects that are not preempted.you also mentioned some state owned investments,these investments have direct effect on the economy of those states and are stimulants in the sectors they are established even though they also generate revenues for the state.we can say well about these investments in developed countries that have grown in basic capacities.
