Fu*ck them. Shebi they are always wailing about dstv and cheering when the company has problems with the govt. Go and find alternative ways to view. Nonsense

Better go and fight with nta

Its really pathetic how multichoice extorts money all in the name of subscription. Imagine paying 2800 and they have the guts to give you live streaming of only world cup fans and not the match itself.
If Nigeria isn't a failed state I don't think we would have this ruthless Monopoly from cable media houses.

Gotv is a waste of money, they were showing fans zone instead of the matches.

I've been watching all the matches live o, just upgrade to gotv super with a token.

It is not fair.Even Max sub is useless to football lovers this period.

Gotv Max before now was showing all the sports channels, but a day to the start of world cup, they scrabbled 2 channels, only a higher package "Gotv Supa" now have access to all the sport channels

you’re not serious. I did sub of 4100 and I checked preview before subscribing, they told me that same package will show all the matches but na fan page i dey watch since
I use DStv and the world cup is in 9k sub, but the advert I see on SuperSport channels has always been that 'upgrade to Gotv supa to enjoy 64 matches of the worldcup'... So bro, I dunno what u saying.
GOTV super is ₦5500, has access to all the games, but DStv Confam that is ₦5300 can only watch select matches. It ain't fair anywhere

This is the most expensive worldcup via broadcasts rights, even Startimes and Canal + couldn't bid for the rights cos of the economy and financial pressure, leaving DStv as the only company with the full rights. NTA sports has FTA rights but only about 30 matches in total.

...instead of watching gotv fan zone or only select 1, I had rather use that same amount meant for gotv sub to subscribing monthly data on mobile phone and watch all matches live...

Something that startime free channel is showing. I stopped subscribing for that got because I feel cheated switching channels and seeing the nonsense they show. Most of their movies are repeated and u have to pay very high fee to view the interesting channels(still boring because they repeat movies a lot and don't sho matches that make sense). I prefer startime which is far cheaper and at least u get to watch bundes Liga, and laliga.
where on startimes are you watching it?

They are showing all matches, you need to upgrade to GoTV supa to enjoy all the 64 matches

Follow this step and enjoy all the matches

Before the coming of DStv,where Nigerian stations not always showing the world cup matches?so what went wrong?

The so-called Privatisation Excercise.

Back then Govt use to pay for the Rights in Nigeria while NTA collect advert money from Companies to air their Adverts and share with other Stations showing them at the end of each Tournament. Same with the Olympics.

Everything change when we leave everything for the Private businemen.

Do you know that in some Middle East countries, the EPL La Liga and co are on free to air? The Government paid for the viewing Rights in their Territories and let the Citizens enjoy them.

I remember asking their customer service agent whether they'll show world cup games, a nd she assured me of that. Thank God, I opted for DSTV. This is what happens when you have weak-muscled regulators like FCCPC

How much sub??

Download football app and watch all live matches free including world Cup matches. Who depends on DSTV or paid subscription to watch live matches? Epl,champions league etc are usually broadcast free on football live streaming Apps.

If you really like football, you must have an additional pay TV provider plus GoTV!

GoTV is mostly for entertainment and news, nothing sports.

Sport's ain't entertainment?

All the matches are on DStv Compact, 9k subscription and GOtv Supa, 5k subscription.

Nigerians like going overboard ad crying about nonsense.
U expect to watch all the matches of the world cup with 2800 subscription, when dollar is > ₦700, plus massive inflation?

Comon
you just dey yarn nonsense world cup is a global event why must we pay overboard to view what we were watching on nta for free in those days

If not because of our corrupt government official, how would you agree to monopoly of multi choice, when you know it is not own by government of Nigeria. That is why they do not allow TSTV to have root in Nigeria. So that they can continue to cheat the consumers, what surprise me was that in all previous world cup, NTA normally showed all the matches, but since this old man, Layi Muhammed came on board, we have not enjoy anything good from the station except his lies. God will park their government from Nigeria in the next election.

The only reason they have the confidence to treat Nigerians like trash is because we are yet to make up out minds on boycotting them. If all Nigerians decide to stop using their products, and settle for other decoders no matter how boring, they'll give themselves brain.
