It is still a better deal for most Nigerians considering where we are coming from.

When they get there, settle in, enjoy the stable electricity and saner clime as we love to call it - then their expectations would increase and that is when the grumbling begins.

However, it remains a better deal when compared to our 200k Nigerian salary. Though there are cases of misinformation and bogus/unrealistic expectations.

The only average person that can give you money in this Dec 2022 is your relative abroad. Life is hard in Nigeria.

I disagree with your last sentence.

Sugar daddies are not AVERAGE NIGERIANS. “Average” is someone like you eating horrendous meals.

Any of my comment you see, you jump out like a monkey to attack without thinking. Use your brain for once - stop making that organ bored to death. Jeez!

seems you have lots of enemies, so i forgive you for mistaken me for another, however is that pasta + meat balls

Nigerian women are not givers, so why the nagging about average men when they are not the target,

Almost all workers are complaining in the UK and everbody is on strike on wage issue from trainr drivers to ambulance to teachers to nurses to university on strike They are complaining of poor pay debt and leaving the job . But Nigerians that are well paid are also leaving on student visa to join the strike in the .UK or cannot see the cost of living crisis in the UK . Is there something else

Nigerans are the at bottom of the Maslow Hierarchy of Needs compared to British citizens. Both parties don't see issues with the same eyes. It is like saying a Haitian should not aspire to work in Nigeria considering Nigeria's issues. Or someone living Gombe should not move to Lagos to look for work because Lagos is expensive.

People take actions using their economic conditions as the major reason. You people should learn a thing or two about basic economics. It is tiring at this point. Shey una follow attend public universities like I did?

Right now Australia visa is not straight forward ooooo.

Before covid it was easy if u can get a sponsor who has what we called immi card (residence card).

But right now is no longer possible .

Though I heard from next year it will be easy for teachers to get visa within 3days .

I hope they won't ask for impossible documents Sha.

Think newzeland evisa is better and faster now note evisa and not the scam.Nzeta visa oooooo.

Here ednut, trust you’re well. Don’t you think 45m to 60k pounds a year is low after removing tax and living expenses?

You commented on my thread when I asked whether to choose big four or IB (actually went for the big four reason being that I want to japa too.

But then the money paid looks small, how do they save with 45-60k pounds? After tax and living expenses?
That is thisame question i was about to ask, they don't know that 60k pounds annually is nothing to write home about. Nigerians need to learn that it is not as easy as their think.

Nairaland is a place where someone can become anything they wish. Some people are millionaires and billionaires on nairaland but are poor in real life grin.

A former church member wrote ielts 5 times, he could not pass it and he gave up
He is now an anti japa crusader on social media. But then people who read his posts don't know he wrote ielts 5 good times. I pity those who can't make their own research and rely on nairaland people grin

The braggadocio by ignorant Nigerians is appalling. 60K which is the salary for an Oxbridge grad working in the city is what someone says is nothing to write home about while inhaling generator fumes? embarassed

Why are our people so loud yet so unintelligent? It is pathetic because the Internet used in posting such can also be used to verify information online.
